Repair request: Oil pan replacement $735.82 about $500 for labor. Told me they didn t charge me for a kit to remove bolts from my oil pan like customers should get charged for tools a mechanic needs to do repairs highest quote I received just closest to my location and waited to tell me about another supposedly necessary repair after sending me on my way with the repair I requested. Now I supposedly need a shift cable bushing replaced for over $300 $220 in labor. If mechanics think you need a repair for the safety of your vehicle not crashing why would you send someone on their way? Why is the part and the labor so high for this shift cable bushing repair compared to what Google says. Asking around calling back Chevy Bridgeville who after $3,500 in engine repairs in the past 6 or 7 months missed that I needed the oil pan replaced a mom and pop shop who inspected my car noticed it right away. It s sad these people from major repair shops think your life is a gamble and let you drive away with supposedly an unsafe vehicle. Yet a mom and pop mechanic told me right away that he can t tell I ve spent thousands lately doing anything to this car.

Priced everything 100% over cost. Told me I needed OEM fluids that aren't needed, which added even more money to the end product. Said power steering pump needed to be delivered from Texas when there was one right across the street from them. Charged me over $800 for a job that anywhere else is between 400-$500. Only good part about the whole experience, is I know I will never spend another dime there.....Service: Steering & suspension repair

I will be a customer for life. They are about the customer and not the company. They will make sure your experience is as painless as possible, and will walk you through every step. They are people friendly and are wonderful to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better place. Will recommend to everyone I know.

I say in all sincerity this is a great honest shop. I went to them a year ago after the dealership quoted me a pretty high price for a brake job. Meanwhile Carnegie motors inspects the brakes and tells me I don't even need them yet, and it turns out I got a full year more out of them. They earned my business with their honesty, and the work they did was great when I went back.

I have used them multiple times over the years. Always a fair price, always good quality work, always great at helping me navigate the tradeoffs in cost vs outcome. There have been times that I have priced work at a few locations closer to where i live or had work done out of state and will never go anywhere else. My whole family uses them and on both foreign German and domestic cars. Excellent service, excellent experience & extremely meticulous body job. I was recommended to Jeff and his team by friends who said they would make my van look new again and they did! Car accidents are tough enough, these guys took great care of me, listened to my unfortunate turn of events and had me back in my fixed up ride in two short days.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARNEGIE MOTORS!!

Great service and very reasonable prices. Was able to handle a starter replacement over the phone for much less money than competitors, and even got my car back days earlier than first promised! Highly recommend.

Awesome service. Very understanding and reliable. Their prices are very fair and they keep you informed every step of the way.Both times i went there with my car for two different issues, they got it fixed in no time and had it back to me earlier than expected. They are very friendly. I would recommend them any day.

Poor communication and over charging. I wanted an oil change and they gave me full synthetic and a filter without asking. Then charged me $45 on a diagnostic they insisted I get, but I knew I didn't need and then sent me home after anentire day of waiting without a bill, estimate, or offer to fix it. Won't be back.

They are charging very high. I had a cracking sound from my car's front wheel. They checked everything and told me to change few parts with a quote of $800 +. I took the car to Firestone and they charged me $400 and I don't have the problem anymore.

I hit a deer with my Kia Forte, the front end and windshield were pretty significantly damaged.My insurance company (Progressive) offered to have my car repaired at their in-network shops in either McKees Rocks or Bridgeville - I couldn't drive the car to either of those areas safely due to the partial windshield damage. The reviews for Carnegie Motors looked good, so I scheduled my auto body repair with them. They had the damage fixed in a week, the car looks amazing and they communicated with me every step of the way. If I ever need auto body repairs again, I'll go back to Carnegie motors.

Anytime I need body work done to my vehicles, I take them here. Their work exceeds even factory work. Somebody just got my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 and I just got it back from Carnegie motors. It looks fantastic! Jeff Yokum is a super friendly guy, who helps you through the whole process. Jeff Bodner, the owner, and his son do incredible body work.

I have known Carnegie moors to have been in business for as long as I can remember - for at least 35-40 years of my life I can remember - The service you get done makes you feel very welcome and satisfied - Every question is answered professionally - They will contact you of any problems along the way any keep you informed as they go about fixing your vehicle - I would for sure give them a 5 star and recommend Carnegie Motors to anyone - We all have that one person you can't satisfy but in the reviews you will see they are a very professional satisfying company

I would say they are honest people. Didn't try to take advantage. They gave me a heads up as to what was wrong with my car which lead me to aamco. Thanks for for your help.
