My previous garage tried to take advantage of me being a single woman so I decided to try a new garage. Best decision ever. Simons Auto Repair got me in for my inspection and oil change. I dropped off the car before work. They called to communicate that I needed two new tires to pass inspection which I thought might be the case. I asked if they could match the two tires I replaced last year because of a slow leak. They called around and found my tires for a reasonable price and got all the work done in one day so I could get my car back before it snows again overnight. I am very impressed with their service and prices. Thank you!

Found this shop in September when my truck needed inspection and my usual garage wasn t answering their phones. They took my truck in that day and inspected it while I waited. I just picked my truck up from a transmission rebuild. I took it there on Monday and they had it done by Wednesday evening because they knew I needed it for the rest of the week. They are super friendly and fair. A great family business that I will continue to support in the future. They have no idea how much I appreciate what they did for me this week.

BEWARE!! This guy sold us a truck and it was put together with pierces to make it look good. Engine is shot just a few months after selling it. It s costing thousands to fix this truck!! What a rip off and he inspected it which i dont know how!! Shady!!

I met Chris and Dom about a year ago and began making shirts for them. Other the past year I've gotten to know them ! This past week my little sister needed a new car, her old one was totaled recently and we were not having luck. While dropping off their hoodies today Chris showed me the perfect car for her ! He was so kind and sold it at a beyond fair price. Was 100% honest about the car and even got my car in for a last minute inspection!! Killed two birds with one stone. If you are on the hunt to shop small and support a family business look no further! You'll be met with kindness and professionalism when you go to Simon's! Give them a shout for your car needs !! They get you done and out the door smiling!! I can't thank them enough for showing us kindness when we needed help!! My little sister is beyond happy ! And so am I !

They took me day-of for a state inspection which was great. While they were quick and the price was the norm for the inspection, it definitely felt more nit picky than other shops' inspections. While he didn't threaten to fail me, I felt like he was really stretching to find things to recommend replacement. I'm a shadetree mechanic and some of his comments left me scratching my head.

They inspected my vehicle and told me what they had done as to my request. They informed me of things they may need replacing at next inspection. Their labor charges were actually below the "norm" in this area. I was very satisfied with Simons Auto Repair service, and everybody I had contact with were very friendly including the office staff. I highly recommend Simons for any and all auto repair or replacement !

My Toyota Avalon was slowly starting and even let me sit once. I took it to a local garage and they weren t able to diagnose the problem. I called Simmons and he told me I could immediately bring it to their garage. His mechanic diagnosed the problem within 3 minutes. They had it repaired within 3 hours. It was a bad starter which was causing the battery to drain. The customer service is the best I have ever had in my 30 years of going to garages. I couldn t believe how well I was treated. No other garage could possibly match the service Simmons provided. They have earned my business for life. And it was done at a reasonable price! They went way above and beyond. I am grateful for their service as I was leaving for vacation in two days. If not for them, my vacation would have been canceled.

My battery was dead and they came right away to jump my car battery. They even checked to make sure everything was ok and all at no cost to me. Everyone is super nice and professional.

Best garage I've ever been to! The previous shop I had my vehicle at had plenty of issues of finding what was wrong I took it here and they knocked it out of the park!

From now on I will not take my vehicles to any other garage in this area. Chris who runs the place is a great mechanic and is awesome to work with. If you take your vehicle any where else then you're being taken advantage of. My 16 year old daughter's Kia Soul was running rough when accelerating (the check engine light started appearing intermittently) and it needed an inspection+oil change anyway. Called several garages in the area to look at it and they all gave me dates 2 weeks out or more (which means mom & dad get to play Uber driver until it is seen and fixed). Simons Auto told us "bring it in tomorrow, we'll make time to look at it". What they found was bad news... the car had been burning through oil and there was metal shavings in the oil and the timing chain was worn and loose... so she needed a new engine (for a 100K+ mile car we bought a year ago). We started pricing the repair online while waiting for the garage to give us their options/prices after Labor Day weekend was over. From what we saw online we decided to look for a different beater car and try and sell the Kia for scrap. Over Labor Day weekend we went to like 15 car lots and test drove 20 cars...all junk (not near as nice as the Kia Soul my daughter grew to love). Simons Auto called us back and told us that we would be fixed, inspected, and out the door for less than any of the junkers we looked at. After installing the engine they noticed the transmission locked up on the test drive (they found metal shavings in that also)... the same day they got us a used transmission, installed it and worked with us to keep the cost close to what they originally quoted for the engine replacement. The owner/lead mechanic for this garage is customer oriented and super fair with pricing. He helped us get out of a jam, showed us the issues as they were being fixed, and kept out cost low (for what needed done). We'll continue to be customers at his shop as long as the garage continues with the excellent customer service that we experienced. My daughter in law got her car fixed here. We dropped it off to get the coolant reservoir swapped out which we already purchased prior from AutoZone. Our $200 quote over the phone changed to $250 in person. The owner eventually said that he would honor the original quote. This was about 2:30pm. We called at 4 and was informed that she would also need a new water pump and wouldn't be able to drive the car off without it overheating again. They quoted the part at about $110 and the labor at around $200. In total, including the antifreeze, we paid $555 because he took off the tax of $30 something dollars.So far, her car is running well. No more overheating.Thank you gentlemen.

They were ok I suppose. What started as a $200 quote over the phone became $250 when we dropped off the car and when I spoke on it, the owner said hay he'd honor the original $200 quote that was given. We dropped off the car around 2:30 and were told it would be done around 4. We called about 4:15 and were told that it also needed a new water pump, aside from the coolant reservoir that we already purchased and brought in prior. So now we're at $585 for parts, labor and taxes. He allowed us to pay $555 in cash and waived the tax, which was nice.I didn't appreciate the fact that it seemed like they were about to close (they were closing in 15 mins when we called) without informing us that we couldn't pick up the car at the end of the day and giving us the option to tow it to another garage.It seems like they did a good job, since the car is running fine and not overheating, but their business ethics and communication, not so much...I do appreciate that they were able to get us in the same day! Water Pump and Belt tensioner replacement:Critical: ResponsivenessPros: Services are professionally done and the technician is knowledgeable, our car fixed safe go home.Cons: After home a day, the AC not working properly, we filled addition Antifreeze, it works better. But we had charged 4 gallons Antifreeze at the shop.While we passing by Harrisburg and fund our car AC has stopped working and the Antifreeze leaking out, it was at noon time, we pull the car ask the Simons Auto Repair shop to check it out. We had told the Water Pump is broken, need about 6 hours to repair, around 7 hundred dollars. After few minutes we back from next door gas station, they told us the Belt tensioner is broke in an apart, that needs more hours and more money, until same day 9pm, the job finally completed and test by the Technician,And the Technician given us few recommend on the next job need to be done next.I am not able to adjust this cost for the local neighborhood, this count on emergency repair.we appreciated for all the job has been done.Services: Auto water leak repair, Auto A/C replacement

I can not even begin to thank Chris at Simon's Auto Repair as well as his wife! This garage goes above and beyond for their customers! I dropped our family vehicle off Monday to have an oil change, headlight repaired and what we thought was just a brake senor. Because we were leaving for Florida on Friday. When Chris called me about the car he had to let me know that our transmission was going out. We could not afford a new transmission out of pocket but thanks to their financial program his wife set up my husband and I got approved for enough help to barely have to pay anything out of pocket to have it repaired. After a couple problems with finding us a new transmission no fault to Chris at all we found out that our car wouldn't be fixed until our trip in Florida would almost be over. I was speaking with Chris about how expensive a rental car was when he told me to give him like 30 minutes and then he would call me back. His wife then called me to let me know that they had a vehicle that was big enough for our whole family that we could use to take on our trip! I could have cried when she called to tell me this because at that point it was looking like we were going to have to cancel our trip. This trip is super important to us because our daughter is competing in a once in a lifetime cheer competition which is why we are going to Florida in the first place. So now we will have a vehicle to safely get to Florida while our vehicle is being repaired! I will never ever take my car to any other garage except Simon's Auto Repair! It is so nice to have people who care about their customers so much that they do everything to make sure the customer is taken care of! I will never be able to say thank you enough to Chris and everyone at the garage for the amazing work that they do! If you want a great, honest, and caring person to work on your cars Chris is your guy! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much for everything you guys do!!!Services: Transmission, Oil change

I originally called and explained the situation and he immediately told me what could be going on. He got me in the next day and fixed that same day! Communication is great and professional. Prices are great, and parts come with warranty if you choose which is great. Very trustworthy. Took our Honda Odyssey in for AC repair. Chris (owner) is very knowledgeable, honest and fair.He looked our van over for quite a while and could not find the freon leak. He said and I quote, "I'm not the type of mechanic who will just throw parts at a problem to try and fix it." Which is good because we wouldn't have had the money for that. He recommended I find a shop that has a certain type of machine/capability to solve this particular problem.They only charged us for 1 hour of labor and for the freon used to charge the AC system to 100%. For all the time he spent on it versus what he actually charged us, was a hell of a deal. I would 100% recommend Simon's Auto Repair to anyone.Thanks Chris.

So I believe I was sent to Simon's Auto Repair AKA Chris by my late husband. I'm getting ready to take a trip to South Carolina to see my oldest baby girl graduate from boot camp from the Army Reserve and as we all know that South Carolina isn't right around the corner, so Chris was very honest with me about my car and all that needed to be replaced before heading on this adventure of my mine especially when I'm traveling with five of my other babies and my mother. Chris really wanted all of my family to be safe and the drive to be smooth. Oh I definitely recommend going to him. We did a last minute pre-purchase inspection at Simon s from a car at AZ Auto. They were nothing but honest to us about the dealer and recommended other better dealers in the area. Didn t charge us a thing. I wish we lived closer so that we could have all our cars serviced by them. All the guys in the shop were super friendly. Chris is the Goat , bought my car back in July but found out shortly after purchasing ,it needed a total engine and turbo replacement not only did they get me a fair price but they also worked with my warranty company to make sure I was made whole ,they will be my go to for any vehicle needs I promise you won't be disappointed Salute

Chris and his team are fair and honest with their work and pricing. Our BMW broke it s serpentine belt when our alternator seized up on the PA Turnpike. The repair was complete, the owner Chris honest, and the price was reasonable. We re glad we found this shop and are very satisfied with the service.
