My daughter s car had a low pressure reading on one of the tires. I decided to drive out to Carlisle to deal with it, since she was very busy wrapping up her midterms at Dickinson before spring break. I ended up going to Mavis Discount Tire (I had never been but the name was familiar to me since we have one near us where we live in New Jersey). I made the appointment online the night before, and I received a call the following morning to confirm my visit. They could not have been more helpful. They thoroughly inspected all of the tires and then informed me that they were fine to continue driving on. They had the car in their garage for at least 30 minutes before they let me know that everything was OK. They could ve easily told me that I needed 4 new tires (we re not that far away from needing them in the next year or so), but that was not the case. They gave me a few recommendations and said they hope I return as a customer, which I certainly will. By the way, no charge for the visit! Thanks to the manager there, Wes, and his team. I will not hesitate to go back to them if my daughter has any future problems with her car.

I got an inspection done. I had to wait and I was quoted an hour possibly two hours and they got it done in an hour which was not bad. I had my three year old son along with me and they had a nice little kids area. It was perfect for his age.They do not have vending machines, but they do have a gas station across the street.

This is a rock-solid tire shop. The staff were very friendly and honest, absolutely no misleading with prices or add-ons that you might get elsewhere. Wait time was minimal, especially considering they checked alignment along with a balance and rotation. Won't hesitate to return.

I highly recommend this place. Every person who I dealt with there was beyond nice. Just a bunch of pleasant people. The older gentleman who works behind the counter, Wes, is a kind soul. He's incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He seems like he really cares. He broke the problem down for me so that I was able to fully understand and he didn't make me feel weird about not knowing . I will be going back and ill recommend this place before anywhere else. Thanks Wes.

This team was so wonderful about fitting in my husband s car when we got a flat on the turnpike right before the holidays. They were prompt and efficient. While they didn t have the tires the car required, they called around to other local tire places and found a place that carried our tires. That leg work was invaluable because we ended up getting to another place in time before the holidays. Thank you again!!

Had a few things done to my car at this location. Riley, the young man at the counter was super helpful. He answered all my questions, explained everything very well. He was very professional and gave me GREAT customer service! That young man is a great face to have as soon as you walk in!

The person answering the phone became frustrated in my scheduling and told me to: "Go someplace else". I feel if I was a man he wouldn't upset that. I spoke to the manager about this person's behavior and the manager had no spine and took zero accountability to correct the situation. I then spoke to a district manager. I went in there anyways and this one particular employee liked they wanted to crawl under their desk, so I have to assume he was the one that said it. Rude employee and the manager that day acted as if he was scared of employees and would not take responsability for the employees behavior to improve it.

I needed tires fast on a Sunday. They got me an appointment right away, super courteous, and so quick. They quoted me an hour and it wasn t even close to that long. They did a quick professional job and even put my spare tire away even though my trunk was a mess. I will always take my vehicle here even though I live in another town. My car feels amazing now!

It was (only) okay when it was Jack Williams, however quality has suffered since the change. Oil not actually being changed, the wrong filter sizes and the cheapest ones possible, too. This has happened on multiple vehicles that I am aware of and I am sure countless more. It is irresponsible, and frankly dangerous. It won t be long until someone s car stops working on the side of the road due to the lack of service at this location unless they can manage to ensure their employees are actually doing their jobs properly. It s one thing to charge high labor fees it s another to charge them and then not do the job. Management has suffered since this location s opening and it evidently needs changed.

I had a nail in my tire and stopped there to have it removed and fixed. They were able to take care It for me without an appointment.I also had my car in recently for an inspection and the Tech Riley Sheaffer was top-notch and got it done before my actual appt

What an amazing experience I had today at this business. Had a tire valve stem leaking and they took me in right away and repaired it. The manager was a great guy. What a pleasure stopping at this store. I would highly recommend this shop for any tire repair or new tires. Thank you so much for your help getting us back on the road. 10 Stars if I could do it

These guys at Jack Williams.... they're outstanding! I've been a customer since 2015 and have never had an issue with them. I have a 2016 Civic and I treat that car like my child. These guys here treat my car very well & have one of the best technicians I've dealt with. Michael, Wes, and Ed (or Eddie I forget which is it- sorry!) are incredible. Professional, caring, and they are very efficient. Overall- I highly recommend this place!

Would not go here again. I came in to get headlights changed, I brought them in myself. They charged me $166 for that, the paperwork said 1 hour of labor. It was done in 20-30 minutes. I should have only had to pay half of that. The guy there said "thats just how we charge it". Whatever sense that makes, and it was NOT disclosed beforehand. I called and called asking to speak to a manager. Then I called corporate, they said they would "get back to me" and never did. I filed a charge back, jack williams stated I never called them to resolve it when I did multiple times. This company is a scam and not honest with their customers.

Wes and Harvey really went out of their way to make sure the job got done, and it was correct. When there were more problems found they tackled them only after consulting me and showing me the issues. And they didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need . Rock on, guys, great job! Truck is running wonderfully.

Professional and very friendly service. Today I visited them because I thought I had issue with tire air valve but they tested air valve and made sure air wasn t leaking all free of cost. I definitely go back again and I would recommend you guys to try their services.

I was driving on PA Turnpike when my car experienced an abnormal sound and had to take to a nearest service center and that happened to be Jack Williams Tire & Auto Center @ 1099 Harrisburg Pikem Carlisle, PA 17013A courteous and quick fix by the crew there helped me to continue my onward journey.Noticed that the crew was very empathetic to the travelers and greatly recommend this service center for PA Turnpike travelers as well as locals.

Wes and his team went above and beyond to help us with our Jeep! We pulled over after stalling out, the mechanic hooked our jeep to a code reader, and they squeezed us in to fix it over the weekend! Wes called the local Enterprise for us, and we rented a car for the rest of our trip! The price is estimated to us, was what he charged! We appreciate all the concern and care to our family! Thank you! You can trust this company!

Met my daughter in Carlisle two weeks ago to get much needed tires for her car. This was the only shop that wasn't booked for the entire day. They got her in right away, were polite, prompt, and reasonably priced.

I came in the other day to have my tires aligned and my oil changed and I haven t experienced a better service they were so helpful and had me in and out very quickly i will be coming back in the future very clean building and excellent customer service.

Excellent service every time I go. Bought my tires here, and they were the least expensive for the Firestone tires I wanted. They've fixed a tire for me, several tire rotations, oil changes, and inspections. Each visit has been a pleasant and positive experience.

As a young adult female who knows nothing about cars, going anywhere to get my car serviced is a nerve-wracking experience. These guys were super nice and helpful, very personable and friendly, the service was quick (they got me in same day, within the hour) and honestly pretty inexpensive. Highly recommend to anyone with any level of experience, or any car need.

I've been to a lot of different mechanic shops in my life. But I have to be honest with you and myself. This is hands down the best shop I have been too. They treat you very well. Make you feel welcomed. They do a great job. Honestly it's the most affordable shop I've been too. I recommend coming here for all your car needs. They know what they are doing and are wonderful people.
