These guys are awesome. I bring all my classic cars there. They tell you exactly what you need, and their prices are honest and fair. It's hard to find an honest mechanic these days. J&J are one of the most trustworthy shops out there.

Jay and his team members are professionals. From making an appointment to completing the repair, everything went smoothly. The repair was quick, and they got the part within a few hours after diagnosing my car. I was looking for a trustworthy place for my high-mileage German cars, and my experience with J&J Motors was good.

Jay s group have been fixing, inspecting and all around, helping me with my vehicles for the past 20 years. They are always professional and fair in their pricing. I have sent friends, and they have been equally pleased. One friend left their car for over a year while in Europe, the car was dead, and Jay brought it back to life. This place is a hidden gem on The Main Line. I highly recommend their services.

Initially, I came to J&J only because of the five stars' reviews. But to my surprise, they do deserve it. From my experience, they not only care about your car, but they care about you and your safety. When I came for the inspection, the mechanic told me about the problem with the battery and solved that issue--a thing I had never experienced in other car services. Usually, other shops only take care of the problem that you tell them. It is different with J&J. They take the extra mile! The best in the area, for sure!

I had a recent experience with J & J Motors while looking for a place to get an emissions inspection (not being from Pennsylvania originally). The mechanic, after seeing that my car was still registered in my home state, told me an emissions inspection was unnecessary and he didn't want to take my money for something unnecessary. He encouraged me to return if I needed any further car repairs, and the honesty demonstrated this time definitely encouraged me to do so.

I am really glad I decided to take my car here. On my first car, they went above and beyond to try and help me out with my out-of-state emissions test. My second car was a rust bucket and had a lot of issues, so I decided to take it here again. I knew it was most likely not worth fixing, and they were very upfront about how much it would cost and did not push me to fix it. If you are like me and don't know anything about fixing cars, I definitely say you can trust you won't get taken advantage of here.

I contacted J and J Motors based on the high ratings they recieve. I can see why they get so highly rated. I needed my daughters car emissions tested for the state of Colorado. Jay was great over the phone said he has done out of state tests in the past. When I showed up he knew exactly what needed to be done and more importantly what documentation I would need for the state of Colorado DMV. I now feel comfortable I have a trusted automotive shop that my daughter could take her car to if in need of maintenance or repair. This is an industry where trusted players are hard to come by and J and J Motors is definitely one of the good guys. Thank you Jay!

I have used JJ ever since I moved to the mainline six years ago. The reviews speak for themselves. This is quite simply the best and most trustworthy shop around. Jay and all of his mechanics are experts and take real pride in the quality of their work. I would never go anywhere else.

Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good doctor. When you find a doctor that take the time to listen, explore options, and genuinely goes the extra mile to care for you, you will go back to that doctor for as long as they are in practice. The same can be true for your choice in a mechanic. When you find one who listens to you, who sees you as far more than a profit line, and who cares about the work they do you go back! J&J Motors are mechanics that you will go back to.However my experience does not allow me to do so (But wait there's more!). That is why I am writing this review. I had to travel recently and I found myself in a real pinch. A repair done on my car by the dealer in my home town had failed. I was nearly 200 miles from my own mechanic and completely stuck. Despite the unfortunate reality my situation took a turn for good the minute I searched for a nearby shop and found J&J Motors. From our very first contact they were so helpful. There was a clear sense of integrity in the way they presented the options and the way they went about our interactions. They were working with someone they knew they would likely never see again. I was absolutely stuck and could have easily been taken advantage of due to the fact I had very little options and a very short amount of time, but this was not the case. The people at J&J were genuine honest people. They explored what the best options would be for me to safely be back on my way. The work they did excelled the work of my long time mechanic. They really went the extra mile for me.If I lived in the Bryn Mawr area I would now have myself a new mechanic! Just like a doctor who cares for you well and you stay with them for as long as possible, J&J Motors are mechanics you can trust and you will feel comfortable going back to for all your automotive repairs. It is with full confidence I highly recommend them.Special thanks to Jay! You deserve more than 5 stars.

Just picked up my car from here for a part replacement and oil change and I was very impressed with the service! They had my car done in a few hours and it was for a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning for any future needs.

The specialize in foreign cars such as BMW and Mercedes but they also are experts with Jeeps. We bring all of our cars there because they not only have reasonable prices but they are also timely and will not too you off at all.One of my vehicles is a 1995 Jeep and I take it to them for all the work that is too difficult for me. They are not only experts with Jeeps but they are also fair and offer advice on how service it and what to change. I recently came in with a small leak in my power steering pump and rather than change it they suggested i just keep on top of the fluids rather than spend money on a replacement since the pump isn't broken.

This is a great shop. I brought my 2002 boxster to them. Super knowledgeable. Had a rattle. They didn t overcharge me for an oil change either. Being a noobie to Porsches they filled my car with the right amount of engine oil. I realized the first place I took to get an oil change massively overfilled the oil. My car was smoky for months. These guys did it right. Freaked me out a bit when I first saw the oil indicator was a lot less than my first oil change but now I know why.

I highly recommend this shop. Not only do they really know Miata s, they were both thorough and honest. Jay took the time to go over everything and have a genuine conversation with me. I was able to trust the work was in good hands and they did a great job.

I was in the area from out of town when the plastic underneath my Audi popped off and was dragging obnoxiously under the car to the point where it couldn't be driven. I found this place on Google and decided to stop by. Rick was really helpful, opened up a spot on a lift for me, had the hardware to secure the underbelly and got me back on the road right away. Had some convos also, he's really knowledgeable and helpful.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Best Best Best! I'm so glad to move back into the area and use my favorite mechanic. I am beyond thrilled with the service they provided my 2006 BMW 330xi, 1997 VW TDI, and 2015 Audi Q3.

One does not find many shops like this anymore. They have great expertise, give good advice, only do work that needs to be done and innovatively identify best solutions, often at lower cost than an alternative. They really care about cars and it shows. Plus, they are just really good people. I have used them for years and recommend them heartily.

I haven't visited since the pandemic, but I going back soon because I think these gents are knowledgeable and professional. They also make sure I get what s left of the oil I provide so I can use it to top off the oil later. They also explain things well and are patient. I recommend.

i just got my Mercedes back from a J & J Motors service. The car needed new rear coil springs and bushing, and is driving like new. Great service - Thank you Jay.

, I can't afford the cars they work on there but I take cars there for a towing company and I also make keys for them but the people are very nice when you go there if I had a BMW or Mercedes probably the place I would take it to good to deal with nice people easy
