This here is the email that i sent out to the service manager. within my family this is now the second time within 3 weeks that we have had an issue with service that has taken place at this location! First the oil change that was never completed but paid for! Which was a huge inconvenience since we had to bring back the car sit and wait for something that should have been done in the first place. That situation has been resolved. However the new one is, that my wife had her vehicle a ford escape just in for a oil change and tire rotation. Well today she was driving my 2 year old son home and when she got home went around the car to get him out of the car seat on her way around the car she spotted a lug nut. This lug nut was from the front passenger tire. Upon closer inspection she noticed that not only one lug nut was missing but 2 were missing including the one that was on the ground. All she has done is drive to and from work....not even 10 minutes from our house! And thank God that her tire didn't come flying off putting her life and my son's life in danger. You all need to pay more attention to the things that your shop mechanics are doing before your shop causes an injury or even a death!Have the decency to correct the problem. And give me a call so we can discuss how this is matter is going to be fixed.After the call that I recieved from Dan the service manager.The answer that I got was with extremely little concern over the SAFETY of my family. I put my trust in that your certified techs would be able to do an easy oil change and tire rotation yet the attention to detail was lacking and it could have been a seriously costly mistake that no one could have made up for. But the fact that I feel like I was being accused that I was making this stuff up by Dan the service manager is absurd. Obviously it happened we have picture proof.This situation and how it was handled was very dissatisfying with how nonchalant the service manager was. I had to go out and purchase new lugnuts a torque wrench and sockets for something that should have been completed properly. When all you would say is well drive the unsafe vehicle up here and we will take care of it putting yet another life in jeopardy. I have receipts that need to be reimbursed and the mechanic that worked on my vehicle needs to go back through certifications to prevent any safety issues from transpiring ever again for anyone's vehicle!

Purchased a new 2024 Ford F150 from Anthony. The process seemed to be smooth until I was offered an unfair price for my trade in (22 Raptor). I was told that was the best they could do because of the market. Unfortunately I went ahead with the deal and later I found out that Solomon Ford listed the vehicle to sale for $10,000.00 more than they gave me. I was told a lie so be careful with this dealership.

Shopper beware! I would give zero stars if it was an option. I negotiated a deal with Solomon with specific terms over the phone. The salesman assured me that they would be able to make the deal with the terms and payment agreed, and even shared that management was onboard. When I arrived on Saturday morning after driving from over an hour away, the negotiated deal was a total scam. They changed everything that we discussed including loan term, apr, and monthly payment. This deal was made in bad faith and was very deceptive. I left without purchasing, even after they offered a different vehicle. Once home, I sent an email to one of the managers sharing my experience and expressing my frustration, and shared we would still be interested if they would follow through with their negotiated deal and promises. I never received a reply!

Great place to buy a car! Staff is very friendly and tried everything to get you into your new car. Bob Heckman is one heck of a salesman. He is very kind and helped out with everything, great guy and great person to buy a car off him. I even left my house key on my old keys to the car I traded in, called Bob and he answered in a sec and held them for a week until I got back up. Can t ask for a better dealership.

This was the fastest and easiest car dealership experience I ve ever had. Bob Heckman gave us a Heck of a Deal with no hassle, no nonsense, and no hidden fees. Would highly recommend Solomon Ford & Bob for any vehicle purchase you re considering. Easily worth the 40 minute drive from the South Hills.

Under warranty, paid extra for warranty, still cost $106 but no labor charge. Went online ford oem parts and found out could of purchased way cheaper. So what do you get for paid warranty, screwed...

Bob Heckman Took care of me. He had me in and out in a brand new truck in a few hours worked with me was very nice and courteous. Finance manager was super amazing Brett super handsome too lol . All jokes aside all the staff was super nice I can t say enough about them . To leave it with you like that that way people don t think it s Highly recommended. Anybody that s interested in a brand new truck might be one of a better Ford dealerships in the Pittsburgh.

First drove the competition and decided to stick to the 3.5 EcoBoost. Next finding the right one and best deal. Travis helped me achieve this working with my budget and getting the truck I wanted to buy with a few accessories included. Both sales and service seem to be working out fine. Careful on the rebates posted. Ford version of vet is active duty or retired from military. Had to pay back $500.

Don't do it. Find another dealer. I came with my adult son to buy a truck. He makes excellent money, has excellent credit, brought cash to put down. Would of been an easy sale.I asked the price before test driving because there was some confusion.We inquired at the online price but the salesman said it was being increased 1.5k before we got there.The manager came out yelling, using disgraceful sales tactics saying we better ask where can we sign before he hikes the price up on us again. He spoke so disrespectfully to me that we walked out! I have never been treated so terribly by a manager before. I felt bad for the salesman, though. This was all the manager, which speaks volumes about the dealership as a whole.Don't fall for their immature, bad attitudes. Grown men shouldn't be so desperate to make a sale that they disregard basic human decency.Go somewhere else. They don't deserve your money & they won't be clear and honest anyway.***Edited to reply to the owners response:Trying to give them a chance to redeem themselves I called the owner & he was on lunch, so I left my name & number. 2 days later he still hasn't returned my call. Thinking his generic reply was for show, not reconciliation.

Not happy ! Took hours . The 2022 ford explorer was a gold certified car ! No full fuel tank ( less than a 1/4tank ) , no washer fluid , antifreeze low , not cleaned ( outside) . No discussion about interest rates or lenders. No going over about interior switches. I am a 50yr Ford guy and Ford stock holder ! This not the way to do business !

The service at Solomon could is amazing. Tom the service manager is outstanding and very responsive, Clayton is the BEST diesel mechanic I have seen, and Howie in parts is insanely knowledgeable. It's really nice to walk in the door and they know you by name. I drive 40 minutes for service from Canonsburg and would recommend Solomon over any dealership in the tristate.

My family stopped in to look at two Expeditions even though they were priced higher than similar vehicles at other dealers. The first had many noticeable scratches and obvious damage to the front right of the vehicle. We asked to see the second and the was told it was being driven by the sales manager but they did bring it around for us to see. It was in similar condition to the first with scratches and loose trim. It was also uncomfortable to look at it because it was filled with the personal effects of the sales manager. If you don t have a car ready to sell, it shouldn t be listed, in my opinion. When we walked back into the building the salesman asked if we were buying and when we said no he immediately said what, too expensive?! in a tone that obviously implied he didn t think we could afford it. When we said they weren t nice enough, he continued with the attitude and said well buy a new one then. I ve owned plenty of used vehicles and never had one with so many exterior blemishes as either vehicle I looked at there. I left my home that morning prepared to buy an Expedition but after that ignorant treatment, I would have walked home before making a purchase there. We were there close to closing time, so I can understand being ready to call it a day, but surely if you expect someone to spend 60k on a vehicle you can treat them with basic respect.

Easiest purchase of a vehicle I have ever made! Anthony made everything simple! I called in, told him my down payment, gave him my info for the financing, arrived and drove the car ( it was waiting out front when we arrived). Signed the papers and was on my way in no time! I can't believe how simple it was! Thanks guys!
