Have gone here a couple times. They are very honest about pricing, do not force any work on you, and are open and honest about what work needs to get done. I will be back in the future.

Needed a State Inspection Done on a days notice, scheduled online for a Sunday morning. Troy helped me when I arrived and he was extremely nice and pleasant to work with. They were busy so I was given a 2hour estimate until it was finished. I was driving out of the parking lot 45 min later. All in all, great experience. Just a heads up, they only service at this location, it no longer sells anything.

Got an alignment done after changing a part myself. Steering wheel was off center afterwards. After dropping it off again I was told nothing and sent on my way to find out nothing changed. They then admitted they didn't do anything. After convincing them to actually look at it, they agreed it was bad and reluctantly did it again. Still off. Gave up and took it to a place I trusted after and no problems.

Got headlight bulb replaced . Jennifer was excellent, went there earlier and they were jammed, she told me it should be better around 1pm. Got there a little before 1 and was out of there in about half hour . Manager was actually working on cars , before another mechanic came in.

Most of my frustration is probably this particular location. I had looked at the fees online but when I dropped off my car there were additional fees I was not aware of. The day after picking up the car I noticed that my wheels were all scratched up along the edges. Not a very professional feel overall. Will not be returning.

The sales person was excellent in preparation and information about my back right side tire. I encountered a very large nail in my right back tire that needed attention. Since, I bought all four tires at Pep Boys, I drove my car to Pep Boys. Immediately, I was assisted by a very fine young man behind the store counter. My car was put into service for the repair at no charge, because all four are new from Pep Boys. The gentleman behind the desk took the car in for service. He called me in a little while later and everything was ready to go. I just love going to Pep Boys. All the people that work there are so efficient and courteous. Thank you. Barbara A. Bieg..

I've called multiple times this morning. Each time I've called they say, can you please hold? I've waited on hold each time for over 15 minutes. I told them. Can you give me just a second of your time? So I can ask him a quick question. And then he just hung up on the last call . 12-05-2023

The mechanics were friendly and proficient. If I had one complaint it would be that the App still allows you to schedule an appointment seemingly without the shop s knowledge. I scheduled a battery replacement, the app gave me a day/time but when i arrived for my appointment the manager said that he had no batteries on hand and I had to re-schedule for install several days later.

My experience at Pep Boys trying to get a car inspection was nothing short of a frustrating ordeal. I want to share my story to caution others about their questionable practices.I visited Pep Boys for a car inspection, and the cashier initially told me that my car had passed the inspection. Trusting their word, I paid for the service. However, as I walked back to my car, I noticed that my old tags were still in place, indicating that my car had not passed the inspection at all. This was an immediate red flag and a clear sign of incompetence or dishonesty.I returned to the cashier's desk to address the issue, but to my dismay, the original cashier had left, and a new one was at the desk. This new cashier was incredibly rude and uncooperative, making me wait unnecessarily before even acknowledging my concerns. He even had the audacity to suggest that I should be charged for the incomplete service.Thankfully, a compassionate and honest employee overheard the situation and stepped in to help. They asserted that I should not be charged and insisted that I receive a full refund. I greatly appreciate their integrity and willingness to rectify the situation, but it's disappointing that it took the intervention of another employee to correct the mistake.To make matters worse, Pep Boys' lack of transparency regarding their prices is concerning. The website merely states that the price varies without disclosing the actual cost. It turns out that the inspection cost was a whopping $86, which is significantly more expensive than local businesses offering the same service.In conclusion, my experience at Pep Boys was marred by incompetence, dishonesty, and rudeness from some of their staff. I strongly caution others against relying on their services, especially given their high prices and lack of transparency. It's essential to support businesses that prioritize honesty, fair pricing, and customer satisfaction, qualities that seem to be lacking at Pep Boys.

Pep boys always does spot on clean quality work. They text me screen shots of problems I had, discussed recommendations and proceeded as I gave permission. Coupons helped too!!! Great service friendly technicians

Had a few issues with this location , glove box fell out while I was driving home also 2 hub caps so they did not put my car back together correctly. Also had some damage done to the outside of the car I contacted corporate and I'm still waiting on a resolution

Had my car there not a week ago for oil change, headlight that needed to be replaced, air conditioner repair, and tire rotation. $1400 later, My now have a leak in my oil tank, the air conditioner is still broken, my head light is still missing part of his high beams and turn signal, and my tires turned out were never actually rotated. The manager tried to explain that they have "master mechanics" there. But Every light on my dashboard suddenly all at once went on today while driving in another state and now is at a dealership for emergency repairs. Granted, some of these repairs that I need are not things I specifically asked Pep Boys to investigate because I didn't know they were needed. But I still need everything that was done the other day by Pep Boys to be redone because they were all done incorrectly. I now have a claim in with corporate and am waiting for the regional director to contact me.

Staff were very nice and professional, especially Kahliff. On the otherhand, the online scheduling is inaccurate. I arrived on time for my appointment yet had to wait over an hour for parts to arrive. This is already a time consuming task and for me to have to wait for parts to arrive after I scheduled for my service is ridiculous. All I needed was a simple oil change and they did not have my car filter in store. This is very stressful and takes away from the scheduling in advanced purpose.

Pep boys should just close down the whole store...your waisting your time at any pepboys...sad thing is when I worked here 25 years ago it was a good store for your vehicle. The service was tip top shape. Oil changes took 25 minutes top for each car, today it takes them 6 hours...boy have times changed.

Needed new battery and alternator. I had an appointment at 8am and it took over 9 hours to replace battery and alternator. They told me it would be done in 2-3 hours. I called to check the status of my car and was put on hold for 20 minutes multiple times. The service is terrible and the employees working are rude and short. They constantly lie to your face on how long it will take. Multiple times they told me they will be backing car out in a minute, but never happened. They have no clue what they are doing. Terrible service and customer service.

TLDR: Don t go here, any work done here will probably need to be redone somewhere else.I needed to get the battery for my 2017 Chevy Malibu changed once it had died. Pep Boys was able to do it that day and I didn t have much time, so decided to give it a shot here. Next day the new battery was completely dead. I thought maybe the battery they had was just defective, so took it back and they swapped it out for another battery. Again next day battery was completely dead. I had to take it to somewhere else, where they informed us the battery was fine and it was just installed incorrectly which caused the battery to drain overnight.

A very special thank you to Troy and Xavier at the Broomall Pep Boys. I walked in on a Friday evening at 5:45pm. I had a flat tire. I decided to replace all 4 tires. Then Troy realized that Xavier was supposed to leave at 6:00pm. Xavier stayed to replace my tires. Troy was so nice and engaging. Thank you again Troy and Xavier.

Apparently closed for retail sales. Handwritten sign on the door says they are closed for retail sales forever don t ask . Claim to be open for service.Online inventory check confirmed they had the headlight I was in stock. Everything suggested this location was open.I called before going, first time was immediately put on hold. After 10 mins I hung up and called back. The person who answered said they were having trouble hearing me and rather than give me a moment to try to troubleshoot the connection just hung up right away. So I went in person and the retail area is roped off despite full shelves of merchandise. One other person waiting inside at service desk, no employee anywhere in view. I hung out for a minute since the handwritten sign wasn t super clear that they weren t doing sales (when I read it on the way out I figured out that s what it was saying). Save your time and go elsewhere.

Simple flat tire repair cost me two trips without fixing. The first time they did nothing and told me.it is done, the 2nd time they pulled out the nail without patching the tire and call it agian fixed. I am requesting refund and they told me to see a manager comes in at noon.

I had to cancel my 8am appointment because my mustang would not start. I told you team member that the towing company said it would be around 3 hour wait. When my car arrived, I said the I knew that they were busy and that there wasn't any rush. To my surprise the car was ready for me by 4pm and it runs great. thank you Pep Boys

I called couple of days ago to get an appointment for changing my breaks pads, they told how much it ll cost and I got the appointment, they sent me a coupon without me asking for it that says $40 off any breaks services, after everything is done they charged me $30 more than the price they offered me for the service and they said that the coupon will not apply because I brought my own parts, so I don t know what the word ANY means in this company!!!!!!Couple years ago I came back 3 times for tires alignment because they didn t know how to do it from the first time, I was nice enough to give them 3 stars rating!!!!!!!Last time ever dealing with this company.

Always nice when you drive across town to a store only to see they are closed 20 minutes before the advertised time. I guess stores like Pepboys are doing so well financially that they can basically spit in the face of their customers in this manner. Luckily there are plenty of other automotive stores out there.

Making an appointment does not guarantee your vehicle will be serviced. Made an appointment for 11am, and checked in. The service desk reviewed what service I needed and took my keys. 1.5 hours later, I asked for an update on my vehicle. It was still sitting and had not been serviced. The worker I spoke with informed me that the person that checked me in should have told me there was a wait and where my vehicle was in the que. They did not. I would not have wasted my time. If your stores do not consider appointments a priority, don't all them to be made.

I had an appointment in advance but they still took over two hours to tell me that the leak in my tire could not be patched. They only offered to put a spare tire on and we re annoyed when I asked why it took so long to tell me they couldn t repair the tire. They offered no explanation.
