Great service, great staff.To be honest, I've had less-than-perfect experiences with Kost before, but today I had no other choice but to pull in here.I was more than pleasantly surprised.They were busy, but they understood the urgency of my situation. They got me right into a bay and back on the road as quickly as possible.They walked me some my vehicle and made recommendations, but didn't aggressively upsell me like I've experienced before. They got my vehicle repaired and road-ready and sent me on my way.Great service. I'll be back.

I need a pair of tires for the front ofmy truck. They had what I needed in stock and for a better price than the other guys. George was great to deal with. It was nice to see customer service the way it used to be done when customer service was an important aspect of the business. Thank you guys!

George was so professional and helpful. He was very informative, polite and patient with us. He helped us out with an issue we were having when no other store we went to would. We will be buying our tires from Gerorge from now on.

Have been here several times for multiple different reasons. Manager Shannon has made sure I always had a pleasant experience with her professionalism and knowledgeable advice on what my vehicle needed. Company has very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

I arrived on time for my appointment to have my tires rotated and for a PA State Inspection; a very rude service advisor named Rick told me I'd have to wait for the cars in front of me to be finished before they could take mine in ("could be hours"), and then he BLAMED ME for coming at the end of the month when "all the other people who failed inspection are back to get re-inspected." KOST doesn't honor appointments, and they overcharged for the inspection sticker (charged $11 for the sticker when their website shows a price of $8). Totally unprofessional, unreliable, and a really poor experience overall. Came here for tires because they're a PA-owned business, but wouldn't recommend anyone to use this specific facility.UPDATED: Joe, what's the point of reaching out to you since there's no way to change my experience. I'm sure the KOST mechanics would be able to keep appointments if the advisors do a better job when scheduling. And there's no excuse for rudeness and/or not honoring website pricing, especially with all the competition in the area. I hope you can use my experience to help train the service advisors to treat future customers better.

Very quick service and pricing. I had (4) 20" tires installed and oil change. They completed everything in just over an hour. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and informative.

Went to Kost for 1st time to get an oil change. They told me i needed a new air filter & charged me $30 for the filter. I just googled the cost & i found them for 9.99 or $13.49 for a two pack. SHAME on you Kost. Won't be back there!!!Well to my surprise, i received a call from Gen. Mgr. George. He apologized for my experience & offered a credit because i was unhappy. Now there is someone who cares about his customers & his business. Thank you George, the business world needs more like you.

Very busy on a Friday. I was there 2 hours and 20 mins to get 4 tires put on and had an appt. (I did arrive 15 mins early). Snack machine, tv, free coffee, a restroom and about 8 chairs for the customers to sit on. Best prices I've found because they include all the "hidden fees" that other local places add on. Don't pay extra for valve stems and tire balancing. Come to Kost instead.

I had a set of wheels refinished and took them to kost to put fresh tires on. While removing the old tire, they managed to put a huge gouge in the freshly coated wheel all the way through to the bare aluminum. On top of that they gave the wheel back with the original tire still on it simply saying they couldn t do it. The new defect in the wheel is so deep it can t be resurfaced without taking the entire coating back down to bare metal. Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Not enough mechanics too long a wait they used to be my goto car repair/tire shop...everyone is hurting but some have a better way of talking to the customer

Work was fine but integrity lacking. They helped themselves to some things from the tools in my trunk. Cherry picked my bits and replaced brand new ones with rusty ones as well as a couple of my 1/2 impact sockets. Everything was brand new and unused as its only there in case of emergencies. When i saw my trunk open and they claimed to be looking for the keys to my lug nuts i had a feeling but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Should of checked them right there. Infuriating.

Yesterday I called to get an appointment for my elderly mother ( I was working and couldn t go myself) because her tire was losing air. It was the first time she ever had to take the car herself. My father always took the car in, but he recently passed away. Your staff was wonderful to her! Not only did you fix the tire ( for free) she asked for an oil change and you did that too! In record time, I should add! Thank you! You made something that was very scary to her.. easy! I appreciate that!

I brought my car in for a PA inspection to Kost Tire & Auto Service. I was called about an hour after dropping it off and was told by the service manager that I needed new struts in order to pass inspection. He gave me a quote of $2200 to replace all four struts (complete assemblies) as they should be replaced in pairs...but only three were leaking, this included parts and labor. Then I told him that they had been replaced within the past year. He said they were leaking and I should take them back to where they were installed for warranty. I picked up my car and paid the $10 fee for their lie. I posted the pictures of all four struts....I do not see any leaking what so ever. Here is a snippet of the PA regulation for passenger vehicles according to the dmv.pa.gov website from publication 45:(3) Inspect suspension system and REJECT IF one or more of the following apply:(i) The ball joint movement is in excess of the manufacturer s specifications.(ii) The shock absorbers are missing.(iii) The shock absorbers mounting bolts or mounts are broken.(iv) The shock absorbers have severe leakage not slight dampness.According to regulation slight dampness is not considered a failure. I had brought my cars for inspections here for the past three years, however after this incident I will take my business else where. As an update, I took my car to another inspection station the next day and the car passed just fine.

Been a customer here for over 6 years and used to love them but the past years think they have a new manager, they try to screw people over.went in for inspection failed me saying my caliber seized that my tire wouldn't spin , took it home, checked it it was fine. Should have told them to keep it on the lift to I got there to see for myself but they probably would have gotten choked up on all their lies

I highly advise you avoid this place!!!I dropped off my vehicle for a tire dismount/ mount & balance. After an hour they called me it was done. I come in to pick it up and quickly looked at the tires before I payed for service. None of the tires looked like they were dismounted and flipped. So I go up to the counter and speak with a young lady, told her that nothing was done to my car, to which she insisted that it was done and it'll cost me $120. I did not want to pay for something that wasn't done so we asked the mechanic to raise it up in the air and I pointed with my finger showing them that nothing was touched and they still insisted that they were removed and put back on. So we waited for the menager to show up. I spoke to him showing him the tires exactly as I did before and even he tried to convince me that he saw the mechanic do it, after which he said - "You know just to be on a good side, I'm not going to have you pay". I used to work with tires and I know what I'm looking at. I will not give my money away for free and I advise everyone else to watch theirs too. Check your cars after you get them serviced. I will never come back again.

This month, Brake line broke in driveway. Called Kost Brodheadsville and spoke with Shannon.Told her car would be towed in to them. She had account up and asked if it was the Chrysler and she would be looking out for it and call with estimate. Within hour of car arriving, she called with the estimate. She called later to suggest other lines be replaced. I will be taking car in after holidays. Car was ready that day and estimate was again right on target. This is my 2nd repair and I am impressed with communication and turn around time.Had four tires replaced. Front and rear alignments. Oil change on a 2010 chrysler 300 touring with all wheel drive. Cost was reasonable. Work completed same day. Very polite personnel and estimate was on target. Thanks

Believe all the bad reviews, this is the worst company I have ever done business with. On 07/24/2023 I got a flat tire on Rt. 209 , I went online and Kost was the closest tire store , so I called and inquired if the could repair or replace a tire today and approximately how long , they replied yes they could and it would be about sixty to 90 minutes. Upon arrival I informed the gentleman at the counter that I called a few minutes earlier about getting a tire repaired or replaced, he inquired if I was leaving my vehicle there, i stated that I was told it would only be 90 minutes and I would be waiting for it, the gentleman then stated it would take at least 4 hours and quite possibly it would not be ready until Tuesday, I stated again that was not was said to me on the phone, He replied we tell everyone on the phone it will only 90 minutes so customers won t go elsewhere. I made my dissatisfaction known and informed them that do to their unprofessional business practices that I would in fact take my business elsewhere. I left and found an independent automotive repair shop 3 miles down the road who treated with respect.The men and women of J -Crew automotive repair were so great I treated them all to lunch.I highly recommend only doing business with independent local businesses, the franchise tire companies no longer care about or value their customers, so it time we stop doing business with them

I appreciate all who work at Kost Tire Brodheadsville pa. I recently had my car in for oil change, tire rotation and inspection. I needed to sit and wait and for all the business that came in I only sat for 2 hours. Where as Mavis had me sit for 6 hours just for an oil change. Kost is my new car place!!!

Never had a problem with this location. Work is done very well. Pricing is very good. And the Mechanics dont leave tools in your car or under your hood. Very happy with the service and Tyler the store manager will Explain to you everything in detail. Keep up the good work.

Came in for a full synthetic oil change. Kost was decently busy at 1030am. The mechanic performing the oil change that checked me in, added a coupon for checkout and then the employee at the desk when my car was finished added another coupon saving me even more. Full synthetic isnt cheap, but treat your car well and itll last. Additionally, they looked at my battery for me and suggested it go to Toyota for a recall. Kost is the ONLY shop ill take my car to. I pay less here than other places because the employees dont over charge for services, apply coupons to save as much possible, and dont extort for other services that arent necessary.

Absolutely terrible. Failed inspection because of a torn rubber on the control arm of a 2019 vehicle with 60k mileage. Was going to charge $900 to repair. Took it to another place and was shown that the part was completely fine. Never again.

Shane is the best I moved here and didn t have a good mechanic and went to Chevy and they were horrible and Kost took very good care of me. Explained my options and took me to the side to even look at what they seen. Best service ever !! Nick us the best mechanic also
