I had an exceptional experience at this collision shop! Brian is amazing! Not only did they provide outstanding customer service, but they also went above and beyond by reducing my deductible and quickly completing the work. What truly impressed me was their attention to detail they even touched up scratches on my car unrelated to the repair. I d rate them 10+ stars for their exceptional service and attention to customer satisfaction! Highly recommend!

I had a great experience getting my 2022 Suburban damage repaired. Looks great and I can t even tell it was ever in an accident and I m a perfectionist. The owner Brian was great to deal with and made the repair process painless. He worked directly with my insurance company and kept me updated. I highly recommend them!

I was recommended to Matus Brothers from a colleague and from Bavarian Motorsports. I am SO happy I found this hidden gem. I worked with Brian, who I truly cannot say enough great things about. He was personable and knowledgeable - He went above and beyond to make sure this process was as seamless as possible, and he even contacted Enterprise on my behalf. My car looks brand new. I dropped off my BMW on a Tuesday, and received it back on Friday - Right before a holiday week! I hope I don't have to go back any time soon, but if I do, I know where I'm going! I have already told plenty of family and friends about how amazing they are, and will continue to do so. Thank you, Matus Brothers!!!

This is my second time using Matus Brothers, and both times, I have been very happy with their work. The strong relationships they have developed with Insurance companies and Car Rental companies made the entire process very quick and easy. Communication with Brian and his team was great, and Pete did an awesome job with the repairs. The service level and attention to detail was excellent. Highly recommended!

I recently had to have my Jeep repaired after a crash. I can t say enough nice things about this company. They informed me of everything. Fought with insurance for me. Got my car fixed in under 20 days. They also back their work 100%. If I find an issue later they ll fix it. I hope I never have to use them again but if I do, I know my cars in good hands!

Needed the rear bumper on my car replaced. Brian worked with insurance company to get additional claim approved. The work was done quickly. the repair is excellent. highly recommend this shop. everyone very friendly and knowledgeable. local business with fantastic values. exceeded expectations.

When I drop my car off at Matus Brothers the owner Brian help me a lot on my repairs to my front driver side. Waiting for my car was a bit painful but once I got the call I went to pick it up & the car looked brand new like nothing ever happened. I really want to say thank you Brian & Anthony for helping me with my car. I appreciate all the hard work to my car, I recommend them to anyone for body work. Thank you Matus Brothers

Matus Brothers recently replaced the entire front of my truck after I was involved in an accident. I was expecting to have a rental for a few weeks but Matus Brothers had my truck done in just over a week (over a holiday too!). They did an amazing job, were very quick, & communicative. We were rear ended in a car accident. Found this company from a recommendation on the NextDoor website and had an excellent experience with them. Within an hour of calling them, Brian (the owner) contacted the lot where the car had been towed, and towed our car to their shop. They also coordinated payment with the insurance company and made that process seamless for us. The repairs were done promptly with high quality. Our insurance company's quote was for an after market bumper, but Brian gave us a Subaru bumper instead and didn't charge us the difference. Overall, they did a great job on the repair. You can't tell the car was ever in an accident even though the entire back bumper and back hatch had to be replaced/repaintedI hope you never have the need for body work services due to an accident, but if you do, highly recommend Matus Brothers.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Scam artists who tried to hustle me by telling me it's gonna cost $2,500 to paint only the roof of my car. Stay away as these are not honest people. They will try to F you any chance they get.

After my local body shop closed I was referred to matus bros. They were awesome on every level. They got interacted with the insurance company and got me a fair value on my repairs. They didn t want to use the aftermarket stuff so offered for me to get oem out of pocket, which was fair. My truck turned out awesome, amazing paint match and truck was returned clean as a whistle. They did work on my car and sent it out for an alignment. Brian said it was safe and fine. After work was done on my car, I heard a cacophony of noises from the front of the car every time I drove. I brought it back for this reason, and Brian dismissed my concerns. Again, I called and he dismissed me. I took my car in for inspection at another mechanic and it failed inspection from broken, worn-out and rotting suspension parts to the tune of $2073.00. The mechanic said it was dangerous to drive due to the ball and socket of the left control arm being pretty much totaled. I was driving an unsafe car that had parts which should have been inspected or noticed between Brian Matus and the guy he sent it for an alignment to as being unsafe. Further, the new mechanics that fixed my car said that my car should never have been aligned with the suspension parts in the condition they were in. I have grounds for legal action, but I will not take it because I don't have time. Being dismissed like that by Matus twice when there were so many noises coming from my car?! And, from what I can tell, lying to me. I am extremely disappointed in this treatment at Matus Auto body and would give no stars if I could.

I cannot rave enough about how accommodating, fast and just refreshingly NICE Brian and all the employees at Matus Brothers are! There is communication every step of the way from when you drop your car off to when you call and pick it up.Their repairs are quality fixes and my car looks like I just drove it off the lot. Hands down the best Auto Body Shop in the area!

Matus Brothers is the best. Brian Matus, the owner, is a good family man and runs his business in a manner that anyone who goes there will be happy. They are not the cheapest, but they are worth every penny. You get what you pay for and they will not rip you off. They are problem solvers who look for the most cost effective ways to do things right. They will explain things to you and give you the option for what works best for you. I am a repeat customer with multiple vehicles. I've gotten undercoatings for corrosion prevention, paint peeling repaint, handicap van custom body work etc. They do a great paint job on almost anything you can bring to the shop. When I was there, a repeat customer had custom cabinetry shipped to them as he had moved to NY. He knew they would do good work, so it was worth shipping the items to them to get them done. They do everything from highend sports cars, to little jobs on inexpensive motorcycles, buses, trailers, bicycles etc. Brian, thanks for the great customer service and high quality work!

I have known Brian's shop for almost eight years.They have done two collision repairs for my Audis and several modifications and refinishes.Every time, they deliver outstanding results at modest price.His technicians and painters are top notch, but his labor rates are a step back in time.First time I met him with golf ball damage on a roof beam, he referred me to the master of paintless dent removal, when all other body shops wanted to fill and paint. I knew he was honest then.As for the quality of his work, when I traded in a car which Brian repaired for collision, the dealer said he could not even distinguish from factory original.Brian proves good guys finish best.

If you are looking for excellent customer service, communication and repair work, this is the place to go. Brian and his team did an excellent job on my Audi Ultrasport. They hold a high attention to detail and did a fantastic repair on my car. These guys are top notch.

I took my car here solely based on the many positive reviews and they lived up to their own reputation. Don't expect a nice showroom entry, and you'll be driving down the back streets of Bridgeport, but their customer service is 2nd to none.I spoke to multiple people through my repair and everyone was friendly, informative, helpful, etc. They have a good reputation with insurance adjusters and stuck to the estimate.Highly recommend this place.

Honest neighborhood business with honest and friendly staff! The other day I was opening my car door when the wind caught me by surprise. The door was pulled from my grip and the hinge got bent in the process. The door tweaked enough where the latch on the hinge no longer lined up properly and I could feel and hear the poor and rough contact when I opened and closed my door.Rather than letting it fester and become a bigger problem, I took my car to Matus Brothers to have them fix it. My first thought... "Here we go, this will surely be expensive." They first did a rather thorough inspection of the door to ensure nothing was broken or had parts hitting where they weren't supposed to be. They quickly told me they would not recommend replacing the hinge at this time. The money would likely be wasted. Instead, they pulled a couple tools out and were able to correct the tweak. In just minutes, my problem was fixed and my door is fine. I was in an out in 12 minutes as a walk in appointment.In a world where it's extremely easy to be dishonest and trick consumers with things they don't fully understand, I very much appreciated Matus Brothers upfront honesty and efforts to fix my door. I could have been taken for a ride and been told the hinge needed to be replaced just to run up an expensive tab. Instead, they instantly made me a believer that this business happens to be among the few that prefer to be an honest business and treat you like they would their family. I would absolutely recommend friends and family to Matus and would bring my car back if I ever needed to.Thank you Matus Brothers.

If you are looking for a customer-focused, fast, reliable, and reasonably priced auto body shop; look no further - you have found it. I've only been here twice, but have recommended them to others, and will go here without hesitation in the future.Here are some examples of why...I had taken my car to Matus Brothers because a tree had fallen on it. The damage was so extensive, I was given an option to call it totaled, or repaired- it was right on the line of cost.... These guys are miracle workers. Beautiful work with keen attention to detail.I was standing out front of Matus Brothers waiting for a rental car company to pick me up, and a delivery service van pulled up to drop off a few parts. There were several parts that the folks at Matus needed to return, and the delivery driver made a comment about them returning the most parts out of all auto body shops that he delivered to... One of the workers explained to him that if they think they might need a part, they order it. They do this because they don't want the customer to have to wait extra days for parts to come in that they may have missed. Then, they need to return them because they are focused on keeping their costs reasonable and not passing along undue charges to the consumer.While talking with the rental car driver on our trip back to the rental agency, they explained that they never saw a body shop work so quickly. They had worked in a few areas at different agency locations, and they explained that most places take a week to a week and a half average to turn around work. From what the rental clerk recalled, he explained that Matus is averaging about 3 days.Brian Matus had a Ferrari in his shop while my car was there, and ended up repainting it for the owner. The owner had purchased it in the 70's, and just wanted to give it a nice fresh look. The next time I saw Brian, I asked him about how it turned out; he said that it turned out great, and that the owner ended up selling the car for upwards of 1M. Talk about quality work.

Brought my vehicle in for rear bumper and tailgate damage. Brian had it better than new in two days. The cost of service matched his preliminary assessment, with no "surprise" charges. Throughout the work he was honest, upfront, and very helpful. If I need body work done again I'll be bringing it to Brian straightaway.

Matus Brothers has done work on two of my cars. On both occasions everything went smoothly, and Brian saved me a lot of money by finding a used bumper that matched my wife's car color instead of getting a new one that required paint. These guys are fast, courteous, and will do everything they can to try to save you money.

I had some bumper work that I assumed would require a new bumper cover. I called based on the recommendation of my mechanic whom I also trust, and was told I could bring it in immediately for an estimate. Brian took a look, and said that he felt he could basically fix what was there, and it'd be hardly noticeable. He did so within a few hours, and I left a few hundred dollars richer than I'd expected. Great experience.

I love my car. I stopped in on a random weekday to have someone look at a dent in my drivers side door of my WRX from a shopping cart that had been there for over a year. I was worried I would have to get the entire door painted because it had a deep crease in it. Brian came out to look at it and gave me the contact info of the guy he uses for dents. He was pretty confident that the guy could help.I called the dent guy, gave him some info and texted some photos. He immediately gave me a price and we scheduled time for him to come out to my home the next day to fix the dent. To my home, really? Who does that anymore? Great guy. Fixed the dent in like an hour. He even did another small dent on the other side. I am so happy!Matus Brothers is the best! I've heard great things about their work, but i'm really impressed with his networking. As a business owner myself, I want nothing more than to give people what they need. Even if I cant do it myself. Clearly they think the same way as myself, which does nothing more than bring the work back to when you can help. I will go there for any body work in the future because thanks to inconsiderate people Im sure I will need some type of repair.

I cannot recommend Matus Brother highly enough. As others have noted, they are 'straight-up' guys who do excellent work at very reasonable prices. On top of this, they are great problem solvers and look to deliver what you are looking for (vs huffing and puffing about how difficult something will be) - in short, they do fantastic work with great customer service.

HE PARTED OUT MY CAR! I had a hit and run on my beautiful $27,000 car with only $77,000 miles on it. Thought there was just scratched, Brian LIED and said there was a crack in the transmission and I believed him and when I got my car back it was COMPLETELY PARTED OUT, THE ENGINE IS BEING HELD IN BY A PIECE OF WOOD, ALL THE RIMS WERE SWITCHED OUT WITH OLD RUSTY ONES AND EVEN THE EMBLEMS WERE SWITCHED. TO TOP IT OFF I HAD TO PAY HIM $3,000 TO GET MY CAR BACK. HE WANTED $2,000 more to get it inspected but I wised up. BEWARE HE IS A SCAMMER!!!!
