This place is a national treasure! The grounds are well maintained with many trails to meander on. A time capsule to the 40s. The cabins are preserved in time. Service is impeccable and the meals are inspired. We shared a cabin with close friends and it was perfect. Caught some beautiful trout. Shot skeet and wobble trap. We will definitely be back

I have been to The Glendorn a few times, even once when David Dorn was there and he was phenomenal. I always stay in the Dorn Suite. The place has kept its 5 Star rating. Everything was PERFECT. I should list all the people who work there but out of privacy I won't. Everybody was wonderful. I can't wait to visit again.Food & drinks: To have a Perfect Lemon Drop Martini waiting for me when I walked downstairs at 6:30pm, INCREDIBLE.

Have you ever wanted to get away and feel like you are thousands of miles away but only traveled a few hours? This is such a place! The Lodge at Glendorn is a beautiful, luxurious oasis in the Allegheny Mountains that allows you to relax, decompress and be treated as though you were a guest at someone's private home. The staff is friendly, attentive but not overbearing. The attention to details is incredible given the scope of the resort. Food, beverage, rooms, linens, activities are all first class. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Lodge at Glendorn. A special shout out to Shane (clay shooting), Charles (fly fisherman extraordinaire) and Ryan(jeep tour escort and so knowledgeable about the history of the estate), Courtney (my favorite waitress:) and lastly Elizabeth for her warm welcome and professionalism! Ty for everything!

Our visit to Glendorn was wonderful in nearly every way. Our cabin was immaculate and so fabulously retro. Everything we needed was provided for us. The staff is the friendliest we have ever encountered, especially for an upscale property- no snobbery here. Charles, Ryan, Shane all the servers and housekeeping were very helpful and a joy to interact with. We hiked biked, learned to shoot trap, fished, and swam. I must deduct a star (would be 1/2 star) for the dinners especially considering the price. We ordered most of the offerings and were not wowed by any of them. However, breakfast was delicious and the freshly baked treats were outstanding. We look forward to being able to visit again.

The best of the best. We spent our Honeymoon here 15 years agp and it has only improved. The accommodations are unique, rustic and utterly comfortable. The staff is concerned with your enjoyment in everything from housekeeping to dining to fly fishing. It is truly a hand crafted experience. Come for that experience and return for the memories. You will never regret your decision.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The ice fishing and ice skating were so much fun and the food was delicious. The customer service was the best we have ever experienced. Jacob and Carol really stood out to us with their kindness and willing to help. I really hope we will get to go again!

A hidden gem... if you are driving from Pittsburgh, Buffalo or any other city the photos and site do not do this place justice! The resort itself is small so the staff to guest ratio is excellent and they cater to everything that you need. It is excellent for a quiet getaway, you can have your own luxury cabin, enjoy smores and drinks by a campfire on their lakes, beautiful walks in the woods, laps in their beautiful food and their food is 5*, some of the best that I have had in my world travels.

It's a wonderful location just outside Bradford - the food is world class and the servers are helpful and efficient - the chef came out and met us too !Walkability: Plenty of walking trails and walkability to lodge -Food & drinks: Truly world class culinary - cocktail service is outstanding

Our visit at the Glendorn was phenomenal. Everything was perfect and we couldn t have asked for a better vacation. Upon our arrival, we already knew this place was special with how fantastic the staff was. The service here was rivaled by no one.The activities were endless. We spent our few days here shooting, fishing, hiking, horse back riding, swimming, and spa. Everything was really fun and the staff helped us learn it all. We had no idea what we were doing at first. But with their guidance we were pros in no time :)The meals we had were five star meals as well. The chef did an amazing job. We also had our meals in different settings. That really added to our stay.We came here as a group but will definitely come back. If you are looking for a relaxing relaxing vacation in the forest, then look no further than this picturesque spot.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in my life. Wow! This place is immaculate and within what feels like its own piece of heaven. It has rich forests brimming with wildlife including deer, all kinds of beautiful birds, and even black bears. The staff and attention to detail they pay to the rooms and the quality of your stay is fantastic, and the food alone is worth the trip! If you are looking to escape for a bit and reset and fill your soul, come to The Glendorn. Go for a half day of fishing with Shane and go to the spa and see Jen for an out of this world facial. You won t regret it!

I can not enough how much I love and you will LOVE Glendorn. If you want to get away and experience a vacation of a lifetime look no further. Either a couples get a way or a family vacation my Son still tells we was the best vacation ever come to Glendorn. The food is amazing and the events as so well executed. The staff welcomed us like family.

My fianc� and daughter surprised me with a weekend getaway for my 40th birthday! Our cabin was amazing, the food was spot on and we received top notch customer service! Judy, Olivia, Elizabeth and all of our wonderful service staff at our meals thank you for making our weekend so memorable! We are already planning our next trip! Thank you all

The Lodge at Glendorn is an absolutely beautiful, serene escape from day-to-day life. The service is impeccable, and so personal. All of the employees are welcoming and accommodating, and you feel special from the time you check in until the time you check out. It truly feels like home; only better!

Wonderful combination of rustic setting and premium lodging experience. Our guest room was very charming and cozy. Hotel staff provided great service. Food was exquisite - French table service done flawlessly. While there were many things to do I focused on fly fishing. My guide, Charles, was fantastic. He was super enthusiastic and gave 110% effort to ensure I had a great time. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have traveled world wide and we have never ever found a more accommodating,happy, caring group of people than we met at Glendorn. The food was incredible as was the flyfishing.. Cheers to Charles and Shane in the fishing world, Emily, Daniel, Kyle, Amy, Natalia of course , Victoria and anyone that we forgot as we loved u all. Oh Katie met us when we arrived and she was darling.. our room (redwood) was lovely and we loved having drinks and snacks on the beautiful patio.The resort was so beautiful with mums and pumpkins KIndness is the word at Glendorn.. We for sure will return.. Go if you have a chance. You will not be disappointed Steve and Babs Farkasovsky Dublin, Ohio

Amazingly wonderful! Feels like home and family. Cabins are beautiful, lodge rooms are that and convenient. Food and wait staff is excellent and friendly, well trained and attentive. The sporting options are excellent with again a great staff of guides. Can't go wrong at the best lodge in the US!

Beautiful site for an adventurous honeymoon weekend. Friendly and warm staff. More to do than you can fit in a weekend. Difficult season; summer and winter are the times to be here. Award winning fly fishing. Skeet and trap shooting, hunting, hiking, biking, watersports, snowmobiling, etc.Wonderful food. Great private cabins fully equipped. We stayed at The Dale, with 2 fireplaces, a kitchenette and a sunroom. Older bathroom could use updating.Beware of fees everywhere. Extra for ALL alcohol, most activites that require a guide and lunch/dinner. And these fees aren't readily available either. Ask before you purchase. (ie- dinner was $105pp for 4 courses of the size that leaves you hungry afterwards)Enjoyed our time, just be preparded to bring the CC.

I felt the need to share our wonderful experience this past weekend. The 4 of us were looking for a 2-night getaway within a 3-hour radius. The Glendorn was recommended so we booked.We had no idea that we would receive the attention and care bestowed as soon as we booked. Megan called us before our arrival to inquire about what activities we were interested in, and any food preferences/allergies.When we arrived we were welcomed warmly, our itinerary was reviewed including our meal time for dinner and the activities we booked. We were given a brief tour of the main lodge and the history of the Glendorn. We were then escorted to our cottage and given an overview of the amenities. We found our cottage fully stocked with water, soft drinks the infamous "Glendorn chocolate chip cookies, a delicious cheese and cracker plate, fresh flowers, a full stockpile of dry logs for the fireplace, and anything one would need as far as toiletries go.Once we settled in, we were asked to arrive 30 minutes before dinner to find a staff member at the door to welcome us, take our coats, and escort us to a beautiful gathering room for complimentary appetizers and cocktails. We were then escorted to the dining room where we received the BEST service any of us have ever experienced. We elected to order the 4-course meal prepared by their chef and were not disappointed.For breakfast every day we had the option to eat at the lodge or have breakfast delivered to our cottage, what..... we could not believe this! The following morning we awoke to our breakfast delivery, two gentlemen delivered more wood and shoveled and cleared our vehicle of snow from the night before.As you can see I am thoroughly impressed! This resort is a GEM and I highly recommend it. We look forward to returning.

Great setting and accommodations. Service was impeccable from cleaning, fish guides, and everyone else. The food was pretty disappointing. Menu looked great but lots of misses on product. Sauces were too salty and steak wasn t very good at all. Hard to reach spot but great once you get there. Would probably try it again.

It's a lovely place for all. Cottages are very clean with everything you need including great comfort . Were enjoying the blackberry jam we received a few months ago, as our parting gift, with some pumpkin waffles this morning

Quiet, clean, let us rearrange the furniture around the fire place. Excellent food and drinks, delivered lunch to the cabin we stayed in. Extensive trails, good for both walking and jogging.

For around Bradford, it would be considered pretty upscale, but I feel like the flavors were lacking, and seemed to be more of a "look at the cost/rarity" over "check out how good our food is".... Not really worth the price, head to the cities and find something special.

Amazing woodland retreat! Stayed for one night in Miller Cabin, which was spacious and quaintly charming. Dinner was exemplary, as was the service throughout our stay. Shooting with Jim and fly fishing with Charles were definitely highlights! We will be back!

If you love Fishing, Pheasant hunting, Hiking, Trap or Sporting Clays, Great Food, Great Digs. Make a reservariin and jump back to a simpler time!

Hubby and I looove glendorn. We have gone there a couple of times on our anniversaries. They have very good breakfasts, and lunch for picnics. We love it there
