Motorcar makeovers is one of the best mechanical shops in Montgomery county. I ve been using them for over 10 years. I never doubt their work their work is excellent. I know when I get my car back and I m traveling that I know I m safe because their work is excellent. I never doubt what what they charge me. The owner is great to deal with. He s very obliging. He tries to work along with the customers try to get the car back as fast as he can. He understands people circumstances it s wonderful that you could go to a mechanical shop and know that you re in the right hand. If you want the best work, then go to the best mechanical shop, motor car makeovers.

Another awesome experience!!! I didn t realize my state inspection was due in a couple of days. Scott and his team were able to squeeze me for an appointment. Every time after i pick up my car, I notice my car is super clean and also drives better than before. So, a lot more was done than just the state inspection. Great place, great people and great service!

Very satisfied with repairs to my AC system and diagnosing other repairs that required attention and with my approval those repairs were doneScott also noted several things that may need attention by my next State Inspection.Also had full exterior/interior detailing done and it is to my utmost satisfaction.

We recently took our two vehicles to Scott at Motorcar Makeovers. We were so impressed with the service. Scott explained everything and made recommendations for now and for a few months from now. The shop is clean and professional. We came to Motorcar Makeovers when our mechanic of 30 years recently retired. We ve found our shop for the next 30 years! 5 stars in every way!

I took my first car when I was 16 to Scott at Motorcar and having been going to him every since, which is over 20 years now. My family takes their vehicles to Motorcar as well. There is a reason they have been in business so long, quality service, quality work, quality people and overall just greatness. I will continue to sing their praises as it is well deserved.

This is the second time that I have taken my cars to Motorcar Makeovers for service. They were professional, courteous and efficient as I did not have to wait long for the service to be completed. I would recommend them to anyone seeking automotive service for their vehicles.

These guys are the best! So happy to have found our go to spot. We thought we had a good mechanic before, but these guys are the next level. Always reliable work that s priced fairly. Called them when we were in a pinch with our BMW, and they were able to solve our issue quickly. We haven t taken our car anywhere else since. They are kind and honest. Couldn t recommend them more!

Super reliable place! I've been going here for about 3 years after it was recommended by a friend. Great prices, reliable work. Never had an issue. Scott is so great! He explains things in terms that an average female can understand!!

Great service close to homeA few months ago I used Motorcar Makeovers to install tires I had purchased for my collector car from Tire Rack. Tire Rack delivered directly to MM, so I had no need to transport them.Their technician took great care on the installation, so I scheduled my annual State Inspection with them as well as an oil change and brake system flush. Making the appointment over the phone was a breeze, as was the drop off process. Unlike some other service centers, they had no problem with me supplying the fluids for the work.Once done, I received a call and made the short trip to pick up my car. I was very pleased to see that each item on the "To Do" list I provided was checked off, as was each step in the brake bleed process.Based on their performance, I will not hesitate to use them in the future.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I can t express how thrilled I am with Motorcar Makeovers! Right off the bat talking with Scott is a breeze. He s super personable and you can tell he genuinely cares about your cars needs. They were in constant communication with me. There price was beyond fair for the service provided. And I can t even begin to express how impressed I am with the interior and exterior detail. My car looks brand new. You can tell the guys who work here take pride in what they do. I will be a lifelong customer! If you need any work done on your car I would stop looking and come here. I absolutely love this place! They are my one-stop shop for all my repairs on my car. They are professional and very friendly and honest with you. I can trust them with my car. So last week I messed my tire up.Took it to a local tire shop for a new tire. They told me it needed a new wheel bearing for $1000.So I said I ll take the car, and I took it today for a second opinion to Motorcar Makeovers in Blue Bell based on positive reviews of his honesty. I explained the situation to Scott. He looked over my entire front end and found nothing wrong with it. Nothing. And charged me nothing. He was honest. He could have easily said yep, you need a new wheel bearing and it s only $400, and I wouldn t have known the difference, but his honestly earned him $0 today but a customer for life and word of mouth.I ll be sure to see Motorcar Makeovers in the future, and I highly recommend! It s difficult to find honesty and here you have it in Scott!Thank you Scott and Motorcar Makeovers!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Auto shops seem to think it s okay to try and scam young women. Maybe this place does nice work, but their customer service is trash. I dropped my car off late Sunday night for my appointment on Monday. On Monday, i was hoping to have my car ready, but I received no calls from the repair shop. I called twice myself once being 20 minutes before they close. They told me that I would receive a call when they figured out what the issue was. On Tuesday, I waited for them to call. Finally, around 2:30pm they let me know what the issue was .after they had already worked on the car. They never called to discuss pricing with me at all! I was charged almost $1,000 JUST in labor for a LOOSE WIRE! They proceeded to tell me that it took them 6 hours to find the wire and that s why it costed so much. I went to the location personally and asked for them to lay out the pricing for me so I could understand what I m paying for. They showed me a receipt listing the labor, but still one set price of $850. Nothing was broken down or explained to me. I was told like 100 times that it just took them 6 hours to find a loose wire and I also was paying $50 for fluid. The two men at the front (Scott and another man) told me they could take my car apart and I could bring it to another repair shop maybe I would ve considered that earlier if I wasn t waiting and was informed about the cost/issues beforehand. I was NOT happy, being the confrontational person I am so I took a video of the incident. The man working beside Scott had no issue cursing right back at me and SMACKING my phone out of my hand on to the floor! They told me to leave and the man at the desk proceeded to say that he knows where I live! I find it hard to believe that a top notch repair shop would take 6 hours to find a wire and charge $1000 to plug it in but maybe I m wrong! I ve just never had a more outrageous experience with customer service. I wish I could share the videos on here.I added this to my review later. After driving my car down the street, the light they were supposed to repair came right back on! The engine light also came back on!!! After waiting 3 days for my appointment at another shop, my car died and I had to jumpstart it.I took my car to the Volkswagen Dealership for my appointment, and showed them the receipt of this service. They informed me that the original issue is under warranty, and they will fix it free of charge. Unfortunately, I will have to pay around $300 to fix the wiring that motorcar makeovers put together the wrong way my car wasn t even this bad when I originally brought it in to motorcar makeovers.I don t know know why you think I would EVER step foot in your disgusting car shop again! (Feel free to save the footage of your employee PHYSICALLY assaulting me and damaging my property)

Trustworthy and dependable. I highly recommend Motorcar Makeovers! Scott and team are very friendly and professional. Great customer service. I take all of my cars to get serviced for both regular maintenance and ad hoc issues. They have done a stellar job each time and I trust their advice.If something comes up during inspection, they always thoroughly explain the issues and recommended services. They are not pushy and do not try to "sell" extra services like other places. I live close by and if you provide advanced notice, they can pick you up or drop you off at your home if needed while they service your car, which is very convenient when I'm unable to secure another ride.If you want peace of mind that you're getting the best service for your vehicles, take them to Motorcar Makeovers!

I took my car here to get an oil change, inspection and detailed. The employees are knowledgeable, patient with people like me ( I know ZERO about cars) and the detail job is immaculate. I am so happy with how clean and nice my car looks. I ll definitely continue to take my car to Motocar Makeovers.

Scott and the team do great work for great prices! My parents are long time customers, and even though I live about 40 minutes away now, I circled back around to Motorcar Makeovers when I needed a replacement water pump and the dealership near me wanted to charge me more than my car was worth. Scott was able to get me rolling again for a much more reasonable price. Scott and his crew went above and beyond! Truck was dropped off for a full clay bar detail of all outside truck body surfaces due to an unknown material adhering to the truck when picked up the truck looked brand new! They not only performed the requested task they also cleaned all rims and tires and the interior of the truck! They also removed old paint splatter from the back window that goof off and a razor blade was not able to remove (all unrequested tasks)! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!Service: Auto detailing

Great place! They do excellent work, quickly and reasonably!I have an old Jeep that I have been updating, and some things I m not tooled for. Motorcar Makeovers are perfect. They ve done everything from bodywork to transmission repair. I have zero complaints and I highly recommend them. I came in under the impression that my engine was toast due to a camshaft issue with my 2015 chevy equinox. This was told to me by another shop. Scott and his team diagnosed it as a solenoid issue. They fixed it up and now it s running great again. They saved me a ton of hassle, time, and money. My F-150 had a wrench light come on twice and each time it would go away after turning truck off and back on. I finally decided to take my truck in for service to get this resolved and wasn't sure what to expect as I have heard it's difficult to diagnose this particular issue. I dropped off my truck Tuesday morning and had a confirmed diagnosis that afternoon (leaking turbo valve)! The part was ordered, and truck repaired next day. You read that right, I dropped off Tuesday and drove home Wednesday a happy customer. The gentlemen at the desk explained everything to me in detail with confidence and professionalism, what the issue was and why it affected the truck in the way it did. He even showed me the old turbo valve that was replaced. Fast and friendly service along with expert diagnosis and repair is hard to come by these days. Motorcar Makeovers did a very thorough inspection, and provided all the necessary repairs and had me back up and running in no time. Great job. I highly recommend Scott and company. Never had service done on any of my vehicles other than the dealer. My cars (Audi and Benz) have now found a new home for maintenance and service.
