Went in for a vehicle inspection and they failed it. The problems that were " identified" such as a leaking strut were not found to be true. It was fluid that rubbed off from the hub seal that was replaced the week before. Rocker panels in bad condition. They were just refinished by another auto body shop in the area. Hole in bed above gas tank. The " hole" that was referred to was cut out from the bed in order to replace the fuel pump which is totally acceptable and legal. A daytime running light that was out was the only obvious fail able hit which is a 10.00 replacement. These are the statements made from the other garage that inspected the vehicle not 30 minutes after I left this place. These are not my explanations but the explanations given to me from the other garage that inspected the vehicle. Vehicle was on the rack for less than 3 minutes and he failed it. After leaving I went right down the road to another service station in the area and it passed with the only obvious failing issue....the daytime running light. Just a heads up for anyone else coming here. Nice try at the money grab. It didn't work on this guy. Looking at the statements and other reviews here I will chalk this up to a bad day at this place or maybe I just came in at a bad time. After all it was an appointment and not a walk in. As soon as I walked in I felt as if I was bothering these people.

Jim's Service Station has the right people, with the right equipment, at the right price. Service is always wonderful and the people are always friendly. They bring back the image of the service stations from a bygone era, where your local garage was your fuel station. Your fuel is pumped for you, and if you're having a problem with your car, they fix it in a heartbeat. You can't go wrong when you choose Jim's.

I always go to Jim for any work I need done. He is super trustworthy.
