Daughters car battery died at her school , I m 100 miles away and I found Dave s number through google , called him and he was immediately ready to help. My daughter was also saying how nice he was and Dave also contacted me to let me know he installed a new battery. So what started out a bit stressful was finished with a great mechanic who was honest and did us a great service.

Dave is an absolute blessing, the diamond in the rough HONEST mechanic.He's VERY knowledgeable, affordable, and every time I go to Dave's always upfront with me about what needs attention and what can wait. I no longer stress about the cost before my visit because know that I'm not getting ripped off, even as a woman with limited car knowledge. Dave never makes me feel dumb for not knowing things about my truck, and even explains cheaper ways to fix it myself if possible.I will recommend this shop to anyone I know, and I would like to say that Steve Shannon's SHOULD NOT have won best in the area, it's Dave for sure.

I chose Daves due to the excellent reviews on Google. I was not disappointed. My son is a student at Bloomsburg University and had an issue with his exhaust. Daves got him right in and was able to do a quick fix. A lot of shops would just try to upsell replacement parts rather than address the issue. This is a sign of a very reputable shop. I will definitely be using Daves for any further issues.Service: Exhaust

My car broke down on I-80, and I needed to take the next exit while driving from New Jersey to Indiana. A woman at the gas station recommended Dave's Auto Repair, and I was able to drive my car there in the morning. Dave was friendly, honest, and beyond reasonable and got me back on the road the same day. Highly recommend to any out-of-towners needing a good local mechanic, and I saw plenty of locals in there too who all were very friendly and happy with Dave's work. Dave would definitely be my go-to mechanic now if I wasn't so far from home!

After calling multiple mechanics around the area for this issue trying to find a good price, I called Dave s shop and he had me come down and did it for free and gave me a super quick and cheap solution. 100% recommend this job to anyone in the area. Dave was able to order and get the part I needed in under 10 hours, 20 minute oil change with synthetic oil in a Silverado at a $63 price point. Can t beat the prices or service for the area. Highly recommend.

What a terrific guy!! We pulled in on our first day of a cross- country drive in a new-for-us (very used) minivan loaded with 5 kids, a dog, and a week of provisions. The car was making a funny noise and we were nervous. Dave diagnosed and fixed the problem in minutes, and had us back on the road with big smiles. Happy trails ahead, thank you, Dave!!!

They seam nice. I got my car inspected there. The only 2 reasons i gave 3 stars is cause the inspection cost more then other places. And they charged me to fix something they never talked to me about first. So they fixed a part with out asking me first if i wanted it fixed and then charged me for it along with the inspection. Not cool in my option.
