Jim is amazing and he really does pride himself on his customer service which is truly second to none! No matter what your issue don't hesitate to give him a call, he will gladly talk to you over the phone and help you figure out your options. Great turnaround time, so knowledgeable, and actually helps you understand what is going on with your computer every step of the way. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with Jim and we will be clients for life!!

Jim did a great job diagnosing and repairing our computer. We dropped the computer off and he worked on it right away keeping us informed about what he was doing every step of the way. He didn t do any work without our ok. I would definitely recommend Jim and will call on him again as needed in the future.

If you are looking for impeccable customer service, extreme knowledge about computers, fairness and honesty, then do business with Jim! Do not support big name retail stores for computer repair/service. You'll save yourself time, money and a migraine.

Called to see if I could get dust removed from my desktop in a short matter of time (5 hours), and unfortunately they weren t able to, but who I am assuming to be Jim, was very direct and we had a good laugh about it. Can tell he would be very good to do business with in the future in a non-last second situation. Would recommend just based on the short phone call we had.

Jim is a true Gentleman...extremely knowledgeable and he's willing to help anyone solve their computer issues. He's relatively busy and available pretty much 10 hours a day seven days a week so AN APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY. When you're able to speak with Jim at your appointment time you'll be very pleased with his expertise and willingness to give you a quote for the repairs you require. You can expect up to 3 days turnaround or so; however, if you've checked around you'll understand that he is a lot more expeditious than others, especially the Geek Squad. Jim is an honest businessman and he is not trying to take advantage, or upsell anyone. If you're stuck with a computer issue(s) call this Gentleman with over 20 years of experience...you'll be glad you did. He just pulled me out of a very difficult situation and he actually finished the job a day sooner than expected. 100% satisfied, would recommend to anyone in need of computer repair.

Fear and a huge knot in my stomach when waking up to a screen displaying, Windows Fixing (c) Stage 1 . It is a 10 year old Dell 8700XP and way overdue to be replaced but I had one more job to do before putting the old gal out to pasture. Allowing Fixing (c) Stage 1 to finish then running chkdsk /f then sfc /scannow the computer barely limped back to life.Googled finding Jim Hovancik of Savemore Computer Repair & Service. Jim received my call and immediately and without hesitancy stepped up to the plate with every option available to repair the Dell. Many calls latter Jim instantly using his vast knowledge and years of experience put my mind at ease by communicating to me every possible scenario.Within hours I packed up the Dell and had dropped it off at Savemore where Jim began his magic immediately. I mean, Who Does That!!! Jim does!!! I received frequent calls keeping me well aware of the repair progress. Within three days the computer was back in my workstation up and running at a ridiculously affordable cost. The old mechanical hard drive replaced with ssd HD and running windows 10, all my programs running and documents replaced, etc. A phenomenal amount of work and time. I know nothing about computers and Jim was very helpful and patient. I needed a new computer and he guided me thru the process of which computer was appropriate for me based on my usage. He then guided me thru the setup when I was ready. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained anything and everything I needed and the reason why. He is always available and very willing to help with any questions you have at anytime. I highly recommend his services for any computer issues. I have already recommended Jim to family and friends.

Any reviews of Jim being rude or talking too much have it wrong. He s very knowledgeable and he s very honest. Those two things come together to make a detailed and sometimes direct dialogue. That s what I loved about him. He also did the work much faster then estimated, and at a hundred dollars less than Geek Squad. Give him your business and he ll give you service well worth what you pay. Thanks again, Jim!

I just had my Desktop serviced at Savemore and Jim was wonderful to deal with. He explained EVERYTHING to me so I could clearly know what he was going to do to my PC , which was a lot!! He got my PC running , which I thought was impossible. He took the time to figure out what was wrong and kept me informed every step of the way. I will recommend him to ANYONE!!!! I found Jim to be very helpful and honest. The price was worth it and he took the time to help my husband and I to understand the computer and how it works. He fixed two computers of ours. I definitely would have him work on our computers again if we should have another problem. I would highly recommend him for all computer needs. Thank you Jim.

He was incredibly helpful on the phone and in person! I had school starting in a couple of days and my computer wasn t working. He got my computer back to me before I went back (in 1-2 days). It worked flawlessly and still is. He is fully immersed in making sure his job is well done and that you are satisfied. I really appreciated being in the know throughout the process of fixing my computer. Highly recommend!

I discovered Jim and his company, Savemore, through a colleague at work who highly recommended him. I was very impressed by several aspects of his business:1. He only works from home. I don't mind going to him. That way, he doesn't have to build travel time and higher overhead into his charges. Plus, he can spend more time solving his clients' problems.2. Most jobs are completed in 2-3 days or less. Further, he calls every day to give you a progress report. The calls also give you a chance to ask questions during the repair process, which gives you a greater understanding of what's happening with your computer and how Jim is working to fix it.3. When you pick up your computer, he gives you a sheet listing everything he did and providing clear instructions for you when you get home. He also spends time with you reviewing the sheet and answering your questions.4. His prices are VERY reasonable, partly because of his low overhead (see #1).5. He offers lifetime phone support.Jim does tend to talk a bit, BUT it's not chit-chat. It's technical, useful information in an understandable form from a man who knows what he's talking about. My advice: LISTEN TO EVERY WORD!I'm really glad my colleague told me about Jim. I feel very comfortable with Jim and Savemore, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs professional, competent computer technical support.Bob Kriebel

I never write reviews, but in this case, it is a pleasure to highly recommend Jim to anyone who needs computer service or repair. I use my computer for my photography business and while I was working on a major project, it stopped working. I was in panic mode. After two prominent businesses cancelled appointments and didn't return my calls, I found Jim. He returned my call promptly and said I could meet with him and drop off my computer immediately. I spent almost 2 hours with Jim, providing what information I could. That afternoon and evening Jim worked on it and called me at 10:00 PM. Over the next three days Jim fixed the problem, entered updates, added protection, cleaned the computer and my external hard drives, and much more. Jim also spent many hours researching how to fix another issue I had with the photography program. During the four days we met three times and Jim called me about 5 times. I was thrilled to have my computer running perfectly and to have accomplished other tasks that I put off for years. Jim charged me about half of what he should have and other companies would have. I'm also pleased that Jim will be there for me in the future.

After months of having difficulty with our computer,we now have confidence knowing it will do it's job. Due to the remarkable skills of Jim Hovancik of Save more Computer Repair & Service. We were impressed with the time he spent and the tenacity he demonstrated to fix multiple problems we were having. He communicated regularly to give updates and explanations of the problems. Savemore Computer Repair & Service did an incredible job removing numerous viruses from my system and was also able to save all of my data. The owner of the company fixed my computer in record time. He also provided me with telephone support which facilitated me in getting my system up and running in record time. I Highly Recommend This Company To Anyone Having Problems With Their Computer. I definitely give him a five star rating.

This company is aptly and appropriately named because not only does the owner actually SAVE you money, more importantly he really WANTS to save you money! How does he do it? Frankly by being totally honest, never padding a bill, never giving you something you don't need and by being "old school" in his philosophy of asking a fair price for a good job! This is why he is very successful!I run a business too and I know this is what people are looking for; no one minds paying a reasonable price for a service as long as they get results...Jim gives those results!I've had many computer problems and Jim has either solved them all or directed me not to waste my time and money in some cases.Call Jim for all your needs, you will not be disappointed!Thank you Jim for all you have done for me and my family!

My Dell Latitude 600 running Windows XP froze and had to do manual shutdowns. I found Jim from Savemore and he responded to my message within 1 hour, spoke to me on the phone for initial troubleshooting, and then made an appointment with me to drop off. Had the computer back within 2 days. Price was reasonable and Jim was transparent, clear and very thorough about his service, fees and work product. Best Buy or Staples or any of these major companies do not have anything on Savemore. Personalized service and responsiveness are key elements these places don't have. Jim even gave a directions sheet upon pickup so as to avoid any issues with viruses. Give Savemore a try if you want to save your computer.

I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to because of the great customer service. I had a problem with a piece breaking off in my charging port and expected to have to bring in my laptop and leave it for a few days and pay good money to get it repaired. Instead Jim gave me some advice over the phone and I fixed it myself in no time at all. Very honest guy that genuinely cares about the customer. I will definitely contact him again if I have any problems and recommend his services to anyone with any computer problems.

I highly recommend SAVEMORE Computer Repair & Service for dealing with any computer issues, hardware or software, which may arise.My computer (Dell Inspiron) recently stopped working. Not only did I have critical data which I needed to access, but, I had a number of time dependent critical computing needs. I called Jim Hovanick at SAVEMORE and his support was outstanding. Hardware was repaired (new hard drive) and software was restored, updated, and data was all scanned for viruses and malware in a remarkably short period of time. I called Jim on a Friday afternoon and was back in operation on Monday afternoon.Jim was technically knowledgeable, an excellent diagnostician, meticulous about details, and extremely generous with the time spent to deal with my computer. His communication with me was superb keeping me abreast of progress, issues and offering options as he progressed with the work.The repair costs at SAVEMORE were extremely reasonable and very fair. Initial diagnosis and estimates were free and the cost of the repair was amazing, given the high degree of technical skill and time spent.Again, for any computer issues, I highly recommend seeing Jim Honavick at Savemore Computer Repair and Service.
