Ron has been extremely helpful over the past few years, always timely and reasonably priced. He is very thorough and happy to explain what needs to be fixed and why. Last week I went in with a repair that required a part to be ordered from out of state, and would take 6+ hours of labor. I was on a tight schedule and needed the car in a couple of days. I let him know the situation and he said he would do his best. The gentlemen here do excellent work. At no time have I ever been dissatisfied or disappointed withe the job they have done. Always clear with the explanations of service to be done and further explanation after he work is done if anything else may be found during the service. Friendly, community and family business feel. Always a pleasure to put what is a necessary livelihood in their very capable and knowledgeable hands. Personally I will not be taking any automobile that I may own to any other service center. Bottom line: they will not work on your car despite advertising that they re open, and they inflate the labor charges assuming people won t bat an eye at their inflated price. My car broke down on a Friday at 6pm. My normal garage is not open Saturdays. I found this place on Google, they advertise they re open on Saturdays and it was nearby so I called and took it there. They do NOT work on your vehicle on Saturdays they are solely open to catch up on paperwork so my car sat until Monday anyhow. I received a call at 9:30Am Monday that it was my alternator which I suspected. I m addition to the cost of the part I was told it would be TWO hours of labor and that it would be ready by the end of the day today or early tomorrow which was completely normal. Fast forward to 1pm the following day and I still haven t heard anything. I called and was given a line that something came up, I m sorry for not calling you it will be ready in an hour. We ll call you. 4pm came and I still hadn t heard anything so I walked there wanting an answer. I was told it was ready, I just didn t get a call because he was paying his taxes . I am ready to just pay and get my car back when the bill comes and it it s more than $200 over the price we discussed on the phone. I told him that he said TWO hours of labor and he replied I m pretty sure I told you 3 After I protested he knocked a little of off the price. After inspecting the original bill I was actually billed for FOUR hours of labor but when we were debating it he claims he told me three. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional garage. If you are considering becoming a new client, DON T.

Northside Foreign Car, Inc did an amazing job with the repair and restoration of my 1991 Volvo. I have spent years trying to find a repair business that was qualified and interested in this type of repair - and I finally found it!Ron and Shawn were very professional in the restoration of the car with every step of the way - explaining what needed to be done and letting me know the cost. They searched for parts that were needed in order to maintain the car's integrity but also the esthetics of the year the car was made.I am so glad that I found Northside Foreign Car and will continue to have my car serviced by them. My family has been going to Hyat Nassry for all our automotive needs since 1970, when it was Westgate Forgein Auto, for everything from yearly inspections, rebuilding of engines/transmission rebuild and bodywork. Hyat has always treated us well being very upfront about repairs that were necessary and things that could be put off. He always would do extra things outside the scope of the repair without charging for them. I really appreciated this as a young man going to school and not having alot of extra money.I am now in my 50's and my 82 year old mother still goes to Hyat. She recently had an issue with a slashed tire on her new Mercedes SUV and was unable to drive it to the garage for repair. She contacted a local tire store and they wanted to sell her 4 new tires on a car with only 5,500 miles. I contacted Hyat and he came to her home and removed the tire and replaced it. I can't begin to tell you what a blessing that is when you have an elderly parent that lives out of area and you are unable to help them.If you want to be treated fairly and not have to worry about getting reamed for repairs you don't need, go see Hyat.

I've been here 5 times at this point and have been extremely satisfied with everything from a water pump replacement to general maintenance and oil changes. I've recommended 5 of my friends to these guys and will continue to do so. Everything gets done quickly and with high quality. When I come in for a repair, they explain to me exactly what the issues are, they show me the broken parts and explain the work that had to be done for the repair. I have never had to wait more than a day or two for any work even when other shops were giving me estimates in the range of multiple weeks. I came upon Northside Car Foreign Auto by accident. Necessity and timeliness were important to me. I was becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the so called, "specialty shops" that would charge me exorbitant prices for something as routine as an oil job.Northside treats you as family. They are honest. They have great integrity. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. They are, also, a very amiable bunch to deal with. I always enjoy seeing and speaking with them when I pick up my car. They will always show you what they did and why they did it.They go out of their way to make the experience a really positive one. This includes the sourcing of hard to get parts, quality workmanship and technical expertise (on all brands of cars), and exceptional service.They are, in sum, a pleasure to deal with. I will not bring my cars to anyone else. They are that good.As an aside, I recently recommend to my Father that he bring his two jaguars to these guys. Like me, he was also paying almost extortionary high prices to the local Jaguar dealership. Jaguars will always be expensive to fix.He was also pleased with the price charged, the quality of workmanship, and especially, the professionalism and friendless of the staff.He also is a convert.

The entire staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I ve had horrible experiences in the past with other car services and not until I brought my car to this place did I get the proper care for my vehicle. I'm used to overpriced car maintenance in CT, so when they gave me a price for replacing the engine in my 2002 Volvo I was pretty happy. They made other small repairs that were necessary, but they added up fast and they didn't consult me. In the end though, very nice group of guys and really know what they're doing.

This place was great. Good, trustworthy guys that won't try and rip you off and they'll also educate you if you are unfamiliar with what needs to be done. I will definitely be going to Northside Foreign Car again.

Will do work with out talking to you about price. Took it in and told them it was probably a fuel pump. came back and they had but in the $800 VW fuel pump. Car had 180k on it. I would have prefered to a use a standard $150 pump would have been smarter financially. Did a number of other things similar so I stopped taking my car to them. They good work but just not in the way I like it.

I spent thousands of dollars over several years now with this garage and plainly stated: I was overcharged, I mean GOUGED almost every time. The owner Hyatt Nassry NEVER obtains your permission prior to doing the work and then expects you to pony up with a boatload of cash. When you complain about his unfairness, he slips you a cheesy $20.00 to stifle your complaints. In addition, when I discovered after using another garage for my annual inspection which failed for an ill-repaired front headlight, (thanks again, Northside) all the light and fender repairs done six years ago by them were incomplete and replacement parts charged out the wazoo for were never installed!!! So in other words, I caught this ripoff artist with his greasy hand in the cookie jar. Additionally, two years ago, he naturally overcharged me for state inspection which should have failed on repairs he made previously four years ago!!! He also refused to make good on this disaster he created and asked me to leave after I produced a receipt!!! This conman also should have his state inspection license revoked!!! BEWARE!! RUN!!! A tremendous disappointment!!

Was refered to this place by a very good friend, I went an got an oil change and my tire fixxed and couldn't have been a better experience!! The guys r very nice and the one was funny as well... I definitely will be returning for my future mechanical needs lol
