A friend of mine recommended these guys, so I went for my inspection there.From start to finish, it felt like how it was twenty years ago when I was taking my old taurus station wagon to the small shop in my hometown. Just good vibes of an old school quality mechanic shop.They went above and beyond my expectations, and I will be coming back for future work.

Carrie is amazing and honest to a fault. Her mechanics will educate you and explain things simply. She runs an efficient shop with limited Staff.Carrie will set realistic time frames for complicated repairs, which may Not suit some people's expectations. A little patience will get you extraordinary service and a fair deal. Every time and without fail. You can't go wrong at L&D.

Keri and her team went above and beyond for me when i had an emergency today with my car. I m not from the area and I m so glad that i ended up here. They truly care about their customers and work hard to make sure they do everything possible to help. So grateful!!

1st visit, took car in for a small leak discovered by Ford dealer who had told me it was urgent. Held off as their quote was very expensive. L & D advised its such a slight leak that I should hold off and they can keep an eye on it. These people are honest and not just trying to take your money. I'll be bringing my car here from now on.

Had a few concerns regarding my Jeep Keri and her team checked everything and thank goodness nothing major. No charge which is unheard of in the industry. On 2/7/23 the business I was on took me right past their shop. On the way home, not a 1/4 mile from them, engine became very loud and I heard the sound of metal being dragged on the road! Pulled into their lot and saw what looked like the muffler being held up by one bolt and the pipe from it to the motor was on the ground! This was a "new" used car that I had just purchased last month so it was a car they had not worked on before. Keri looked at it, knew what was wrong and worked me into their schedule that day. Was out of there within 2 hours and at a fair and minimal cost! I can't say enough good things about them. Would never go anywhere else

WOW where do I start. There is so many fantastic things that L&D has done for us. They have always been the shop that we can trust - even if it is something we don't want to hear. They are people that have become a part of our lives. They are super fair pricing and you tell them how much you are willing to put into this car, they tell you the truth and attempt to honestly advise you what your options are and than let you go from there by thinking about it and deciding what fits for you and your budget. They respect any of the decisions even if it is not one of theirs. They refer if it is beyond what they do or have the resources for doing. Before going to L&D we were shopping from garage to garage because the fair pricing and straight talk, we recieved is why we stayed. They are willing to help people in the community. I took a 72 year old that really never dealt with cars they said they would try to give her an idea. Well, seeing how nervous she was they did a diagnostic check to give her something. They looked at the car, gave an estimated cost of repairs. They said it would give her some time but up to her As they than worked on the car they gave her the image of what was going on verbalizing, diagrams, the comparisons really helped her. They patched it came in under estimate! This gave her the time and more so she could work the $$ out and time for it to sink in. They were amazing!! With our family much of the same good news/bad news, but news we could trust!

Just. Wow. I'm only visiting PA, but they would DEF be my mechanic if I lived here ... I'm supposed to leave town today, had a weird noise, they got me in same morning, from my description figured it was nothing, but took it for a thorough inspection anyway (final diagnosis was as they had guessed) ...and then CHARGED me NOTHING. I'm not even a likely returing customer because I'm from Illinois! So incredibly decent--showed real concern that I be safe when traveling today. I will definitely return if I have any problems again when visiting and recommend them to anyone I know here! Thaaaaanks again for looking out for me, L&D.Service: Auto maintenance

Great place. Very honest. The local trusted mechanic that you need. Stop going to the chain businesses or the dealerships that rip you off. L&D can do all your factory scheduled maintenance or repairs.

I called told them my story and they took care of me. Plugged my tire, reinstalled on the car, and put the spare away clean and correct. This is awesome service. Thank you!

They did a wonderful job with the diagnosis of my light on my dash. They kept me updated and replaced my alternator and I was back driving the same day. The customer and mechanical service was excellent and I will return to do more auto service and repairs.

My family has been using this place for 7+ years. Kerry & her dad run a reputable business and have always treated us fairly.They recently became a Cooper Tire dealer and offer very competitive prices.Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop.

I had been looking for a local car shop since I moved here in 2020, finally L&D is that for me. Dependable, friendly, and honest with fair pricing. Family-run and local places like L&D are the way to go.

I called L&D Automotive this afternoon and spoke with Keri. A vehicle I was considering purchasing was serviced there for years. Keri took time out of her busy day to answer all of my questions. I will be able to make an informed decision because of Keri's help. Small businesses like L&D Automotive deserve our business and I would definitely recommend giving this shop a try based upon their honesty and willingness to help me.

Have been my go to mechanic for over 10 years. True to their word, and reasonable when an issue arises above and beyond your initial repair needs. Flexible with appointments and they don't nickel and dime you like other shops. Totally recommend.

DON T EVER, go to this auto repair place! They botched a simple brake repair job. After paying a ridiculous initial price to fix my brakes, they gave me the car back without completing the repair. I returned the car the next day to give them an opportunity to finish the job and not only did they not fix it, they said there was nothing wrong with the brakes! So I took it to another mechanic who finished their work. When I asked them to reimburse me for the additional cost they refused. Stay away from L&D or you will regret it!
