The most shady business I ve ever dealt with. I called about 17/20 times. Both dispatchers refused to give me an address and the lady was extremely rude. It took me having to contact the police and have an officer talk to them for them to give me the address. So here is the address for those who get their car towed by these people. I was in a bind and my truck was broken down in a parking garage. Waiting for my companies roadside assistance to find the proper truck to be able to get into a working garage was taxing. I decided to call a few local companies all trying to charge an arm and a leg and tell me to push a truck down 5 floors of the parking garage.Called CAR and they were there within $20 minutes and towed me to the dealership at a reasonable price. Made what could have been a disaster of a day a bit better.Both dispatched and driver were incredibly helpful and I appreciate the workService: Car towing

Dispatcher canceled my service without letting me know because he felt I was "rude" after pressing for an better estimate than "you're next".Called about 3 times and each time they said 20 minutes. It was about 3 hours and they never showed. They were rude and extremely unprofessional. When I called my insurance they tried to get answers and the tow company claimed that I was rude and they canceled the job.This has been the worst service I've received. To the point where I'm considering canceling my insurance for doing business with this shoddy "business".[Edited]

I came home one night to find a Porsche on my front lawn, with tire tracks across the property. The driver said he had a flat tire, and instead of pulling off onto a driveway, felt it was ok to drive onto my lawn. I asked for his insurance, and he asked that we settle privately, gave me his name and phone number in a show of good faith, and saying he would send me a check for any damage. The damage wasn't that bad so I agreed, but asked him to make sure the towing company who was coming to tow the car (because he didn't have a spare tire?') didn't also pull onto my soft lawn. He obviously didn't, and the tower (Commonwealth) drove their flatbed directly onto my lawn, leaving huge ruts. I approached the driver to ask why he thought this was ok, and his response was to say "I wasn't going to risk damaging a Porsche by pulling it from the road", I don't care about your yard. Standard practice is to pull a car out onto the road to load it onto the flatbed. Regardless, the tower caused extensive damage to my lawn. I called the tower that night, and they assured me they would take care of damages. Since that call, I've been trying for over a month to get any callback, information on their insurance company, their business address, anything. They are scum. They lie, deceive, and blatantly disregard any responsibility for their negligence. And clearly the Porsche driver never took any responsibility. It's disgusting that this can be allowed in our society, and I plan to take this to my local representatives for them to investigate the business practices of this "company" and to my lawyer to initiate a civil suit. It's not my losses I'm concerned with, it's that a business such as this could be allowed to take advantage of people over and over, and get away with it. Read all the reviews...they are disgusting.

Probably the worst, most inefficient and unprofessional business. Waited over 3 hours from an estimated hour and 15. Each call was "another 20 minutes". After the 5th one I asked how long am I going to keep waiting?, the person said "I'm cancelling the order" and hung up on me. I can't even make this up. CARS is a great company! The owner Joe was very quick, reliable, responsive, and walked me through every step of the way. He went above and beyond to help me recover a car and ship it back to me in California. He was very kind. I am handicapped and when Tim came to give me a tow, he was super helpful and was very caring about my situation! In the rain he helped me and my family get to safety and changed flat tire to my spare, in the rain!Great human being!

Would give it -5 starts if I could. Called around 830 at night because I needed a tow truck. Lady told me it would take an hour. After an hour I decided to call to get an update and they wouldn't even answer the phone. Tow truck never came after waiting and calling for 2 hours

The tow truck driver had my son who is 17 get in the car on the rollback. He asked him to steer it off the truck. The battery was dead and he had no power brakes. He couldn t stop and the driver basically dropped the car off the rollback with my son screaming he couldn t stop, smh. They would get 0 stars if I could.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

This company was assigned to pick up my car by my insurance company roadside assistance. They originally said 90 minutes, no courtesy call they are late. I called them they will be an additional 45 minutes. After waiting an additional 50 minutes I called them again, the woman on the line didn't even answer the phone by the Company name, barely said anything.. I said are you there?.. I could hear a baby crying so she was still on the line I said hello again.. now she finally answered me tells me it will be an additional 30 minutes. This is unprofessional and a ridiculous wait time. NO customer courtesy, if you are going to be this late when it's 46 degree's outside call, so your customer can wait some where warm until you arrive. I have been waiting for this tow since 11am it is now 247pm. My insurance company canceled them and they have them assign a new tow company to come pick up my car. If you are stuck some where don't call this place You will continue to be stuck in your car broke down. They told me the issue was a multiple car accident more $$ so I got bumped in importance.

I was on the side of the interstate with a flat tire and dead car battery. My roadside assistance contracted this company to help me within 45 minutes. After an hour passed I called the company. The receptionist, who didn't even greet with the company's name, said the driver would get in contact with me right away. After another 15 minutes and not hearing from the driver I called back. She said he was only a minute away.... Still no show. I called my roadside assistance company 4x each time they were told the driver would call me and I never received any calls. After 2 hours of sitting on the side of the road I cancelled the request for them to come out. If I could rate them 0 stars I would! They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

Darrin was great! He was dispatched via my roadside assistance company and they provided an eta of 90 minutes, he was here in about 30. He treated my car with care both getting it on and off the bed. Made sure I had my loaner from the dealer before he left. I could not have asked for a better experience. It sucks waking up to a dead vehicle that needs to be towed. I've never dealt with a tow before other than for collision and I think Darrin just set the bar high for the next person should I ever have to deal with this again. And being that I have $100 coverage and owed nothing to get it across town to the dealer, their pricing has to be reasonable. Thank you, Darrin! You made it possible for me to deal with a frustrating situation without any extra stress (especially on a Monday morning at that). I highly recommend this company and will always keep them in mind should I need tow service again.

Absolutely ignorant waited 3 and half hours just so they cancel because I show concern BECAUSE IM WAITING 3 HOURS AT 11pm at night how ridiculous should be ashamed if they can t do a job don t pick it. Simple as thatTHE OWNER THE OWNER LITERALLY HAS NO RESPECT HANGS UP ON A CUSTOM because he cant take it shouldn t even be in business what a joke

I have State Farm Roadside Assistance . When my car broke down in a not so safe location this company accepted to get us . This was at 4:40pm . It s now 7:15 and I called State Farm to request another company because I have lost any and all confidence . This company keeps changing the ETA back and making excuses. If they were so busy why did they accept the call and agree to get us only to make us wait in an unsafe location for more than 2.5 hours ? Disgusting . Stay away from this so called company .

Completely ghetto establishment. When answering their phone they simply say hello , no business name, no employee name. An ETA is provided to which they never adhere to. The luxury apartment complex where I live has contracted with CARS to remove unauthorized vehicles from premium- paid for- parking spaces. On two separate occasions I have called CARS to remove vehicles from my parking space which I pay for- on both occasions the tow truck never arrived. Save yourself from headache, time, and dealing with a subpar establishment. I wish I could rate this hole in the wall a -10 (negative 10) out of ten stars.

This was the company our car insurance sent out to tow our car to the dealership. They told us 45 mins but they came in about 30 minutes. The drive Darrin called me and he was very kind and professional. I am sitting in the infusion center getting treatment and I was able to handle this all over the phone. Great service. This company employs predatory towing and satellite towing tactics. They wait till lots are full, then send a tow truck over to quickly tow ever last car a few blocks away, then refuse to get your car unless you pay them. Doesn't matter if you parked legally, or if you have permission to park in the lot. They will just tow first, and try to extort the money out of you, or leave you stranded. Stay away from this sleezy business and their predatory tactics.Service: Car towing

Commonwealth Asset Management provided great service. My sport cars engine shut down on I78 and they showed up within 40 minutes and very carefully put the car onto their flatbed to ensure no damage was done. They brought the car to the dealer and then dropped us off locally. Very conscientious and efficient service.

They illegally towed my car from my apartment complex lot that my vehicle is registered to. When I called to ask them about it the receptionist put me on hold for 15 minutes. I m pretty sure she forgot that she had me on hold because I hung up and called back and she confirmed right away that they had my car. They want $345 to get the car back. They will be hearing from my lawyer for the illegal tow and any damages they caused.

my car was towed last night! And $180 was taken out of my car!! how does that work?! AND when i called they told me $325 to get it off the lot but charged my friend $300?! so your over charging for the whatever car you want too! AT THAT YALL WERE SHUT DOWN FOR BEING BAD IN BUSINESS!! I FILE A POLICE REPORT AND THIS ISNT THE END SCAMMERS

I requested my car to be picked up and was told it d be 45 mins. I waited an hour and decided to call and I was then told another 20 mins wait because they were running late. I called 30 mins after and of course I was told ANOTHER 20 mins. I requested another service and the 2nd service got here QUICKER than my 1st. I have yet to hear from these people while I m already on my way home thanks to Pete s tow trucking service. This was such a wasted time when my fianc�, my father (the one giving us a ride home) and myself work tomorrow morning. This was the worst service I have ever experienced! If this were to happen again, I will make sure they do NOT send commonwealth... which btw they re only 20 mins from my location but whatever. 100% unprofessional!!!!!!

Austin was very pleasant the minute I met him. His professionalism was second to none. By the time he arrived, my hazard lights were stop working, but he spotted me even though it was dark and raining. Upon entering the tow truck, he offered me tissue to wipe myself off.I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.Thanks again for all your service

I was stranded in Allentown, PA. It was rainy, cold night, no one around to help, I didn t have a cell phone, The situation was getting grim. Thru my tablet I managed to contact My insurance company, which had called over 10 different companies in the area, none of them would come out at 1:00am, except Commonwealth asset recovery, the gentleman was professional and very knowledgeable and had my car running in 5 minutes. My wife and I made it home safely, 100 miles away. Thanks, Life SaversP.S. I read a bunch of bad reviews of this company, mostly people complaining about having to pay up, just like to say if your in a bad a situation and someone comes to your help you out, at all times of the day and night, you should be greatful and willing to pay a bit extra...Thanks again...My Porsche 911 made it home !!

This morning the brackets on my exhaust fell off and it left me unable to continue my commute to work. Commonwealth was the first to respond to my insurance road side assistance. And i am sure glad they did! The gentleman that arrived to help me was very friendly and very helpful. He went above and beyond and he made a bad situation good. I cannot thank him enough!

Called to have a small motor home towed, they sent someone to look at it and said they would be able to handle it. Was told they would come back the next day and it was a no show....send a few follow up messages (and called) and they said they would come the next morning. Again a no show and no returned calls or messages to explain why. Just left me hanging.

recommended. Excellent customer service and fast. Lock my purse inside my car and they send help with out getting the payment until they came and unlock my vehicle. Melissa and the guy who came to unlock my vehicle are EXCELLENT!!! THANK YOU.

Called and set up appointment to have a car scrapped, day of appointment 25 minuets passed with no show. I called back and know one had any recollection of me calling to set an appointment, despite me giving my name and number. Disappointing because Joe had scrapped a couple of cars for my father and he had recommended them for their services.
