I have never owned a mini cooper before and the first preowned one that we purchased for my daughter had several issues. Frank personally took the time to walk us through the repairs that were required and was very patient explaining every repair and the cost to us. That is unusual in his business. The staff was also great once we hired them. We will definitely continue to go back to Frank for any other needs in the future.

Not only does Frank's Tire provide quality work, they are extremely professional, easy to work with, transparent, honest, and informative. If you are looking for an auto shop you can trust, look no further. Now is NOT the time to buy a new car but thanks to Franks, my 2013 with 120k+ miles could last me another few years until interest rates drop back down. I am consistently walking away happy with my decision to go to Franks. You can also always tell the quality of a business when you see their reception area and workspace. Very clean, organized, pleasant to be in. Even their fish tank is spotless! I live 35 minutes away from Franks but will continue to make the drive because they are the best.

Frank's Tire and Automotive are the best in the area! They are always up front with what they are going to do to repair your vehicle, what they found in the process, and how much it will cost for the repair. They are kind, courteous and honest; and always have your best interest at heart. They even provided me with a tow and a rental car when my vehicle broke down so that I wouldn't be late to an important event I had going on that same day. Great customer service and knowledgeable support! Needed an alignment after lifting and installing new tires and wheels on my truck - Frank and his team addressed my truck ASAP and would highly recommend as a aftermarket truck expert.In addition to the alignment, Franks applied a rust prevention on the underbody of my truck. Amazed at the amount of attention and detail that went into making sure every component was cover. Great job all around.Will be back for future mods and auto repair work.

I couldn t be happier with my experience with Franks. They took on my 1980s Triumph TR7 project that I had started and have done a fantastic job getting it back on the road for me after 18 years in a garage. Frankie led the project along the way providing updates and progress. This was a complex project including a full engine and transmission swap, custom intake and carburetor, custom headers and exhaust, custom cooling system, rewiring 90% of the wiring, brakes, wheels and tires. Now I take all of my cars to Franks for all of my regular maintenance as well. Frank and his team of professionals took care of my 1320 as if it was their own. They installed Kooks long tube 1 7/8 headers, an off-road pipe and some other goodies, and, as expected, the finished job showed an amazing attention to detail, care, craft, and quality. I went back because 20 years earlier Frank and his team did the same careful work to my Mustang. With parts as well as service, you truly get what you pay for, and Frank s offers a top of the line experience. If you only purchase the best mods, then only have the best install them. They even washed my car when finished. Highly recommended for simple maintenance work, tires all the way up to performance jobs. Heck, I am even going back for ported heads, cam and intake. Ask about their CornNuts also.

Frank saved the day for me and got everything done plus was able to help get me financed which helped incredibly. My car is running great and I now have a mechanic whom I trust and will definitely return to when the next thing comes along. Super trustworthy and reliable!

They saved my car!I had unknowingly overfilled the oil to the point that everything was covered in it. My car was smoking because of it and there was a chance that it might not have ran again but they were able to fix it. They ordered new parts for what was needed and cleaned everything that needed to be cleaned.If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have a car to drive right now. Everyone was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable.Definitely recommend!10/10

I'm very grateful to have found this company I was stranded at 10 o'clock at night in my truck and my road side assistance never showed. So I ended up calling a random towing company and instead of them taking advantage of the situation I was in I was given advice that helped get my truck home. As a small business owner myself I appreciate the honesty l.

Franks was a real find for me when I moved to Bethel Park. As a widow who s husband used to take care of all the car stuff, I have one word for Franks and that is TRUST! He s extremely knowledgeable and has the best mechanics. He untangled all the bureaucracy moving to PA involves. He fixed up my old car and I sold it for top dollar. I'm from Michigan and my car broke down on the highway going home. No one answered my calls except this place, I have been treated so kindly by the whole staff. They were very understanding and sympatheic. They tried several different ways to help me get back on the road. Was very understand of my finaces and helped me as much as they could.If I lived here this would be my shop of choice. I am SO grateful for people like them to help a stranger so much. ABSOLUTELY BRING YOUR CARS HERE THEY ARE AMAZING HUMANS!

I had scheduled an appointment with Franks to put upper control arms on my truck but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to have them do a lot of other work. They took the truck in and did a great job repairing the truck and in a timely fashion. I had dropped it off on a Thursday and was back up and running the beginning of next the next week for work. They were in contact with me the whole way and didn t price gouge like other shops. All in all a great experience from the team at Franks. A couple days ago my car broke down on me and triple A towed it to Franks Tire & Auto. However, being a person that has zero knowledge about cars, Frank explained to me exactly what was going on with my car to a point that I could actually understand, he was very patient and communicated with me every step of the way until my car was ready to be picked up. Overall, him and his team made everything easy for me and I absolutely appreciate it.Don t be afraid to take your car to them it will be properly serviced and handled with care. Highly recommend.

Frank s Tire and Automotive turned my bad situation into an incredibly less stressful experience. I had very extensive engine repair that they handled with ease and confidence. They were able to fix my car the same day they looked at it. Frank updated me throughout the day and was thorough in explaining the diagnosis/prognosis. The pricing was very reasonable and now my car is running like new again. TERRIBLE PLACE! I was told a very reasonable price when I dropped my car off and told them if there were any changes to give me a call, they proceeded to work on my car and tried to charge me $600 more than what they told me when i went to get my car! and the repair didn t even last two weeks!

***Updated 11/8/23***I've stopped going to Frank's after last time I took my car there for a synthetic oil change he charged me $30+ more than the nearest competitor. One of the reasons the price was far higher was because he was charging me $13.50/quart for oil when the same exact oil can be bought from an auto parts store ~$7/quart. When I asked him about the price discrepancy, he said "that's the price we offer" which basically indicates he's not doing all he can to get you the best price.If he's doing not getting you the best price for something as simple as oil, he's certainly not for other structural and body repairs to your car. He'll use highly detailed and long explanations to overwhelm/confuse you when describing an issue specific to your vehicle. This is a classic technique used by shady mechanics to charge their customers unfair prices. Simply put you can't trust him --- stay away.***Original Review ~Nov, 2022***It's always difficult to find a good mechanic you can trust. You can have confidence that Frank and his team will fill that role. Triple A towed our vehicle to Frank's Tire & Auto due to a flat tire. We were beyond impressed with the level of care and professionalism we received from Frank and his team of technicians. Additional work was needed on our car and Frank communicated promptly with his recommendations for repair and thoroughly explained the why behind the necessary repairs. Update 3 years after initial encounter: Franks helped us out again after deer strike. Franks is not the cheapest. They are the best value for money.Original: Spouse had an accident after hours, Frank's provided not only a location to store the vehicle but an immediately available rental car. If you are in trouble, this is kind of people that you want helping you. Not only competent and reliable but polite as well.

It's a great shop for the Darkside riders in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pa.I took my Honda VTX 1800 motorcycle wheel here to have a car tire mounted on it. They were a bit skeptical at first, but they did the job for me and in record time. I am now about 1200 miles into this tire with absolutely no issues.A great shop. I will be returning when I need a front tire replaced.Thanks, Frank's.

My Honda Civic had seen better days before sitting in a parking spot for too long. There were many things that needed fixed, and Frank s was really good about calling to discuss before moving forward with the work to make sure it was something I wanted to do. They did not try to aggressively upsell me on unnecessary things, and were very easy to work with. The turnaround was really quick, only a few days, especially considering everything that needed done. They replaced an oil valve cover and a radiator that I did not know needed replaced. Frank and Jeff were knowledgeable and upfront with the costs of the repairs. Fortunately they gave me a loaner car as it took several days to complete the work. We discussed a list of other repairs that were needed and I would not hesitate to use them again. Love there work, always treat me like family, long loyal customer. Needed 4 tires mounted and balanced at 330 pm called up frank, told me no problem bring it down I ll take care of you. Very clean show room also a great shop to get aftermarket wheels.

This was the first time I met Frank. He took every phone call I made, he explained everything thoroughly, he called to uodate me about my vehicle, he went above and beyone what he needed to. He even took pictures of other things that needed repaired in my car to take to the dealership that should be covered by warranty.
