This was a great experience. They charge fair prices for their services. They were willing to work with me on deciding what services needed to be done ASAP vs what could wait due to my budget. They also applied a better coupon in their system for me. Finally, they topped off my oil at no charge after seeing it was low and that I'd just had an oil change elsewhere (and I can't imagine going anywhere else again as long as I'm in this area.)

Had a super smooth experience at C&J Automotive for work done on my brake rotors and spark plugs - Bob was fantastic to work with and had clear communication with the issues found in my car. The addition of pictures showing the underlying damage was really helpful! Thank you C&J team!

C&J auto is great! The excellent service my car receives (from my favorite mechanic Jack) is always done in a very timely manner and everything is thoroughly explained. The welcoming atmosphere in the very clean and perk filled wait area is lovely. Most of all the amazing follow up after each service is just as appreciated as Bob and Keith's welcoming smiles when you walk in. Highly recommend!

I ve been a customer of C&J for many years, and I have always been impressed with the quality of service, professionalism, and friendliness. This past week they went above and beyond to help me with an issue. Bob and Tyler are terrific to work with. C&J do the little things to differentiate themselves above and beyond the other Shops. I highly recommend C&J!

Had a fantastic experience with C&J and especially Bob. From setting the appt to the repair itself, he/they were really organized with detailed descriptions & pictures of the work that needed to be done (via text/email), fair pricing and it being completed when they promised.

I had an urgent repair need and C&J got me in right away and fixed the issue the same day. They were so unbelievably kind and courteous that my husband, who overheard the interaction, was astounded and commented on how incredible their service was. That wasn t just one lucky phone call, that was in the repair shop, the follow up, all of it. Bob was outstanding! Personable, communicative, reliable, and open about the process from beginning to end. As a new person to the area - finding a trustworthy mechanic is not always easy - and not to go circa 1974 but/and as a woman always a bit cautious about the quote and the job . In a nutshell - go to C&J - they won t disappoint. Bob - you now have another local family for life!

I got excellent service, even though I was a complicated case (didn t pass first inspection due to tire tear). They were helpful and kind, and the new tires were much more reasonable than at my dealership!

My wife and I have had such a great experience speaking with both Bob and Keith. They were able to do a pre-sale inspection on a car I bought from a private seller (the very detailed report and pictures were able to provide peace of mind buying this way) and we were so impressed we returned for tires and other services. I had my car inspection done at C&J Automotive of Berwyn yesterday and it was such a pleasant experience. The place is well-organized and orderly, with a professional system that provides diagnosis with pictures and other details. Bob was so helpful with scheduling, processing the order, explaining what's needed & other relevant details. The business has a long history in the neighborhood and experienced staff. They are honest and wouldn't recommend anything unnecessary. The price is also reasonable. The service was done the same day considering my car had several parts ordered & replaced... I highly recommend this place if you'd like to have your car serviced by capable hands, with friendly smiles and less $

My battery check, oil & filters change and tire rotation went like clock-work. The Uber to take me home while car was serviced was nice too. Needless to say the team was friendly as always. C&J is a 5 shop dor sure.

I knew my brakes needed to be replaced. They were making A LOT of noises. I took my car to C&J on a Friday afternoon without an appointment. Bob took care of me so well. He knew I couldn't drive the car any further and squeezed me in somehow. They replaced the brakes the same day. They were fantastic! I can't recommended them enough.Service: Brakes

I had a great experience at C&J and can't recommend them enough. I worked with Bob specifically, and he custom-ordered the tires that I was looking for. When I dropped my car off, Bob and Keith were incredibly friendly, and the waiting room and shop were both clean. The 4 new tires were installed promptly - after dropping my car off around 9am, it was ready to be picked up around noon. The service was prompt and done well, and I have nothing but great things to say about Bob and the staff at C&J. I will definitely be bringing my car back.Service: Tires

C&J Automotive offers outstanding service! The guys know who you are and the service history of your car, the kind of service you won t find at your dealership. Work is thorough and well communicated, one can t ask for much more. I appreciate that they email pictures and update Carfax, I m sure other shops do this as well but it s a nice touch.Unlike some of the other shops along 30, there s no confusion about dropping your car off, C&J have a well marked drop box with envelopes and pens! Their loaner cars offer additional convenience.

I have used C&J twice and have been extremely happy. They offer fair and transparent pricing and are done quick. Bob Lane was my service advisor and he is easy to talk with and answered all of my questions. Recommend to check other 1 star reviews. Wish I did before coming here.I brought my car to the shop for annual inspection & emissions.C&J stated that my vehicle failed inspection with expensive parts to be replaced, including 2 control arms and sway bar links + alignment service with pictures stated as "worn arm bushings", as well as replace front left axle because of an oil stain - where they stated as "ripped/ leaking" on the joint.The cost add up to almost $2000.Bob Lane rushed customer to pay for these repair and threatened on the phone to "report to the State as customer refusing those work" and made it sound like my vehicle was seriously dangerous to drive. I brought my car to other two shops to verify and the parts C&J stated works just fine.The actual issue was with the front windshield wipers - it didn't clear up after 3 wipes - but the wiper blades replacement isn't worth their while.Other reviews show that they use the same way to trick some customers to replace unnecessary expensive parts. They intimidate customers in the name of the State for this unethical practice and possibly discriminate against people, especially if you don't "look local".Don't let their fake 'kindness' fools you. Go somewhere else.
