I have been going to Midas on street road for the past 6 years to have my new car inspected and occasional oil changes. Service was great when the Manager Fennel Louis worked there. However upon my return last year he was gone. Fast forward to today. I went to a local Valvoline to have my oil change from last fall oil change I received from Midas. When Valvoline went to remove the filter to my surprise it was an old filter from 2 years ago from Valvoline. MIDAS NEVER CHANGED MY FILTER LAST YEAR. SHAME IN YOU!!!! You bump up prices, you steal and lie to my daughter with her car situation. But finally it was proven today that you are without souls. You charged me for a synthetic oil change on my new truck. My check engine light came on because I ve been driving with an old Valvoline filter and you probably never changed the oil either. This was lazy and unforgivable. My car sounded awful and I wondered why is a new car so loud. I promise you - your upper management will hear from me. Because of this you could have cost my engine to be destroyed!! How could someone do this? I will find out who the technician and file a complaint. Never again, you have lost 2 customers. My daughter and me! You people are horrible.

Murph at midas bensalem took care of my 71 cutlass exhaust problem. He was super fast and courteous. Took care of the problem rite away and had me back on the road. I will definitely be going back there for future repairs.

I was trying to buy a used truck and needed a neutral third party opinion on its condition. Give it a multi point inspection and honest opinion from another mechanic. Everybody here was incredibly helpful and willing to give me their personal opinion on its value and what they, not as employees but people, would pay for it. 10/10 for this staff and crew!

Great staff! Murphy and Jose are great leaders. Their customer service skills are amazing. I always feel relieved knowing they have my needs taken care of. John J. And Luis C. who are usually the ones who take care of my vehicles always do an excellent job. I highly recommend!

Amazing service - period. My first visit was an oil change. They accommodate the service even though it was neat closing. I was told by another mechanic that the car need front brakes and rotors. I went to Midas today and the car was put on a lift and road test and nothing was found. What I really appreciate is their due diligence. Thank you Jim and your team due operating in excellence and transparency.

I will definitely keep coming back and I'll refer everyone I know to Midas in Bensalem. Jose is the nicest most caring person. He is so professional, kind, and helped me immensely with my truck when nobody else would. Jose is an amazing guy who actually knows what he's doing and does his job plus more with a smile. I've always hated mechanics but between Jose taking care of me in the front and John working on my truck I'm so relieved and happy I brought my vehicle here. I highly recommend Midas to anyone with little money and lots of car issues. They're great!!

I Went to get an oil change and the service was so fast. It was very clean and everyone was so polite. I live 30 minutes away but did not mind. Worth it! The manager Jose was kind and squeezed me in!

This location has gone downhill bad! I will never take my car or have anyone I know go there. I stopped in yesterday and asked for a simple request. To have a quart of oil drained from the car. The guys and lady behind the counter looked at me like I spoke a different language. Then the guy proceeds to try and charge me for a full price oil change. I explained that I didn't need an oil change, I need a little oil drained. The older santa clause gentleman asked what kind of car it was, and when I told him, they refused to even service it.....I don't understand the logic....they are supposed to be mechanics, and have the knowledge and ability to work on any car......For the simple fact that they refused a 30 second job makes no sense to me......Absolutely the worst service I've ever dealt with.....Then the older gentleman proceeded to ask me, "How do I know the car has too much oil"......I laughed and said, I can read minds......no THE CAR TELLS YOU!!!! It's not difficult........This place is a joke, and the fact that they charge $160/hr for labor is a complete joke.......Do yourself a favor and go to the Cherry Hill location or the Ewing NJ location.......You will get real service and wont be turned away just based on the car you drive.........

Was driving on a highway where there was a scrap metal truck in front of me where a piece of metal flew out and I ran over destroying two of my tires and a rim. I order a rim, which came in two days, and went to this Midas where Mr. Murphy got me four tires mounted and a line for a fair price no hassles no gimmicks. They even came with a three-year warranty .This is the place to bring your vehicle 100% great customer service, amazing work, and reasonable wait times. I m 100% satisfied with all the service that I received here today not only that but this is also my first Google review ever I normally don t do these things but I just have to let people know about this amazing location.Thank you did Mr. Murphy and every body at this location.

Jim Murphy and mechanics went above and beyond to find out the problem with my car and check engine light. It was very time consuming for them, but they were up for the task. They found the problem! Thanks fellas!!!

Another Midas called ahead and scheduled an alignment here since their alignment rack was broken. Came here at 9AM just to be refused service claiming they can t do it and have my time wasted. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Jos� is courteous and an excellent communicator. I was updated periodically on progress of my car the entire time I was there. I ve been to the Bensalem location many times and I am always pleased with the team s customer care and the work they put in to get my car back on the road.

Calling around for pricing today for new tires and I called this midas location and come to find out the guy Jose, who answered the phone was awesome. He went above and beyond to find me the most cost-effective tires for my business. Definitely recommend this place because the guy Jose made it a breeze.

Just take my car in there to change the rotors on the back side and the price way to crazy and they tell Me I should change the front side too! to be safe but the front is not a problem, they just try to get me!Never come back to Midas at Bensalem.

Murph is the man! Whenever I have issues with my jeep he is the guy I trust to help me out. He is very helpful when explaining the issue in common terms I can understand and always helps me find a less expensive fix that is still safe and reliable!

I always get great service every time I come here. Even after moving out of state, I make it a point to return here for all of my car service needs. In my experience coming here for the past few years, vehicle service and customer service have always been top notch.

Murf hooked me up with finding the right tires for my car. Told me which ones would be good for long trips and last me a good amount of time!! 100/10 recommend Murf if you need help with your tires

This place is terrible. The top mechanic doesn t know anything about cars. Peirce just takes advantage of people and acts like he is doing a favor. I took my car in because the ac wasn t working. They kept saying we don t know what it could be then I get a call from piece the guy who doesn t even work on the cars saying it s the radiator fans. I end up spending 1000s of dollars to pay for something that didn t even fix my car. Brand new radiator fan and still didn t fix my issue. . I took my car to a different mechanic it happen to be a 20 dollar sensor that fixed the problem. I will be telling EVERYONE not to come here!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

2018 Toyota Highlander with 32k miles on it. I took it in to this place for a simple inspection and got handed a bill for $1,440.00 for 2 new tires and rear shock absorbers plus outrageous labor fees. Tires last more than 32k miles and the struts at this mileage too. It's all about failing inspection on cars that are only 5yrs old with very low mileage on everything. Stay away from this company, they only want to rip you off

I stopped by Midas to get my car checked. They were very nice and checked it right away. I was in and out very quick and that was helpful with my busy schedule. The manager (Pierce Screen) made sure everything was taken care of.

Great staff and continues to be so.Today, 4/19 went for tire repair and oil/filter change. They did courtesy inspection and no pressure to fix today. However, gave me a timeline for repairs

My husband took his truck here a month ago, check engine light was on.. they said they fixed the issue, 7000$ later and he took it home to have the light come on again. Took it to the dealer who said the sensor they replaced isn t responding at all and he had to take it back to Midas. They kept giving us the run around saying it s this and then saying it s something else or they are waiting for a part to come in. They said they would call with updates and they never called, 99% of the time we had to call them or show up . My husbands 2019 truck with 60k miles was there for a MONTH. We are out almost 10k total because of missed work and rentals. I am beyond disappointed in this company. I would not recommend them for anything to be honest. Every dealer and shop we have talked to says it should not have taken this long and clearly they have no idea what they are doing. I am seeking compensation for everything because this is highly unprofessional.Midas you did not keep in touch with us while you had the truck.You did not fix the truck. ..You had it for a month and you did not fix it ..I am highly upset with Midas.Just to recap..Truck went in with check engine light.Midas said it needed a new engine.After a 2700$ engine diagnosticThe engine was fine and it was just the head gasket.Head gasket was replaced and some sensor.We had to get it reflashed at a dealer who said the sensor isn t responding.Took it back to Midas where it sat waiting for a part to come in.. no idea what that even was..We pick up our truck tonight, apparently with some kind of electrical issue that it didn t have when we dropped it off. Midas has no idea what is wrong with the truck.. we have to take it to a dealer now.Do yourself a favor and do not take your car here. They are unprofessional and clearly not educated enough to take on projects that they claim they can do.I d like to be contacted by corporate too. You can not let them do this to someone else. They literally robbed us.Edit: we took the truck to a dealer where they fixed the issue in 2 days ( fixed the issues caused by Midas too) It has now been a few months and the truck is running great thanks to the dealer we took it to.Midas gave us back 3000$ and that was a headache. We gave up after that because we are too busy to continue with the back and forth.Please don t do this to your self. See your dealer see anyone but this Midas.

So I rated this shop years ago, but my continued experiences there compelled me to write again.I would never think of going to chain automotive places for great service and deals, but Midas isn't just any chain. Their mechanics are phenomenal and there's a personal caring and service they give their customers, that just hasn't been my experience with local shops.Last night I had to get a new battery installed. It was 20 minutes before closing and I didn't think they'd be able to make it happen. Figured I'd need to get a jump today just to go to a shop. AGAIN, Midas to the rescue.Luis went out of his way to grab my keys and swap out my old battery in a jiff. Manager Jim made it a priority and while I was waiting (only like 5 minutes) Murph and Jose helped me figure out another problem I was having and what the fix would probably be. Jose even looked up a coupon deal to save me money on that work.Midas always comes in with more than fair prices and makes me feel like I have family working there to make sure I don't get screwed! When I was used car shopping, I ran everything I was looking at past them, and it saved me from countless headaches. I just can't recommend the company (and this location in particular) enough.I got out so quickly last night, that I was able to make it to another errand before that store closed. Way to spread the holiday cheer, crew. Thanks so much for always being my "go-to" shop. For a single mom with a used car, there's nowhere else I would trust like I do Midas.

Definitely will continue to return here when I need another car repair. Brian and Peirce were able to help me way beyond my expectations. I was in a financial hardship but I needed my tires changed really bad and they both were able to find a way I could leave with new tires and a payment plan I could afford with one of the great finance options they have. I went to Midas to get my 2018 dodge charger checked out due to the car overheating. They were very nice enough to check the car out. They took their time, checking my car. And found the problem with my car. Everyone was very nice and professional. I recommend this location to anyone who needs their car serviced . 1 out 10 , I give them a 10.Service: Engine repair
