I cannot speak highly enough of Dobson s. Our car broke down on a long road trip, and we needed a starter and battery replacement. Dave went above and beyond in making sure my family and I were taken care of. Their customer service, pricing, and timing are excellent. If you are looking for a mechanic, I would advise that you bring your car to them.Service: Auto battery replacement

Matt Waller is the owner, and did a great job with my state inspection. In and out in less than 45 minutes! Keep in mind, payment is cash or check ONLY. Does not take plastic at all!

Fast friendly service. Honest. A bit pricey but rather pay extra for good honest service.To And by honest I mean he isn't gonna make up problems that aren't real to get money out of you. I as a female have gone to many other garages where they try to tell you something is wrong with your car that isn't to get money out of you. Matt doesn't do this. He is honest and I would rather pay for that anyday over a fake garage!

I'm not sure where the other reviews about fair and honest pricing come from, but I've had the exact opposite experience.We had previously taken my wife's car here for an inspection and felt like we were significantly overcharged, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, I will no longer be giving them any business after my experience this week.I had to have my car towed from the highway last week. They were the closest tow company and I just had it towed right to their garage. Through a combination of their expensive parts distributor and the shadiness of the garage, I felt like I was overcharged by $150-$300 (I know, big range) for a part. I called around and got pricing for that part myself and disputed the cost with the garage. They tried to pass it off on the parts distributor overcharging them, but only showed me the list price on the invoice, not the net price. I spoke with the parts distributor who, while still significantly more expensive than other places, definitely did not charge them full list price.Miraculously, $150 disappeared off my bill when I spoke with the garage again and pressed further, since I knew the actual cost of the part. I ended up paying about what I "should" have (minus the still too expensive part), but if I didn't know any better I could have really been taken to the cleaners. This all felt very shady and I wouldn't feel confident recommending Dobson's to anyone.

I ve known the owner Bobby for over 40 years and I ve always known him to be extremely honest. I d absolutely recommend taking your vehicles to his garage for any problems you might be having. And he certainly isn t going to overcharge you.And by the way, that $40 price a guy quoted as being the price LMR Tires charges for an inspection...he omitted to include the emissions test fee which of course LMR charges a whole lot extra for...so add a lot more money to that quote ...In fact I ll be taking my Toyota Tundra back to him soon for a few more things I need done to it. I stick with Bobby as my mechanic for one major reason that has absolutely nothing to do with friendship...his honesty.

At least they had availability. However, I was charged $70 from this small shop for an inspection. LMR would have charged $40 but wasn't available at the time. They over charge and don't take credit cards. Nice guys but will be going elsewhere from now on.

They Do Not Take Card! Slow, inefficient, and overpriced. Honestly the guys were friendly enough but I stopped in for a simple oil and filter change. Typically after labor other places I get around 60, here it was 80. Something that should take 20min tops, took them 40.They Do Not Take Card!

I went to Dobsons to get an oil change on my 2006 Honda Civic. I called beforehand as i was travelling a far distance the next day and needed the oil changed before making my trip. I stressed this to the man on the phone and he said he could squeeze me in, which at first I was thankful for. The total process of the oil change, which was with synthetic blend oil, took about twenty minutes. When I went to pay at the end, the owner charged me seventy dollars. For an oil change. Nothing else! He said he charged that ludicrous amount because i had called in last minute.....but there was no one else at his shop and it was only 4pm. This was all about two weeks before Christmas 2016.I highly recommend going anywhere else. I've never paid more than thirty dollars for an oil change. This man is a crooked thief

I've been taking my cars to Dobson's for over 20 years and I've been pleased and I'll continue to take them to Matt Wellar's now after Bob Dobson's passing and I'm sure I'll be pleased with Matt dealing with him from now on.Service: Auto emissions testingService: Auto emissions testing

I came there for a car inspection and after I finished he charged me 70$. Car inspections usually are 30-40$ and I believe he charged me twice since I came without an appointment (I called and he told me come and there was no other customers there!) just don t go there, any other inspection station will be better and not drain your money.

They are simple and efficient If you want good work done for a reasonable price then come here. My father used this garage for years and my wife and I will do the same.

Dobson's Garage is where I take my cars for their state inspections. He's a fair mechanic, and if your car needs a repair, he'll be straight with you, and if his shop can't do it, he will refer you to a shop that can. Cash or check only.
