Went here for the very first time to get my state inspection done. As a feminine presenting person I always find it difficult unfortunately when going to auto shops and being met with rudeness or prices higher than normal not here however. Chris was very nice and welcoming over the phone and was able to get me scheduled fairly quickly and equally very nice in person. Inspection was done within the day and thankfully I passed with flying colors! He also has the sweetest dog at the shop! I will definitely be coming here again in the future and I highly recommend for anyone living in the bellefonte, pa area!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Called to get my son's auto in for brake work, had a delay and had to call Chris to reschedule not once but twice, due to problems on my end, and Chris was so understanding. Will definitely be back.

We broke down on the I-80 just outside of Bellefonte, and we were lucky enough to have this repair shop nearest to us. All of the workers understood our situation and did their absolute best to assist us with our car. The owner was the best, told us exactly what was wrong, and what our options were, along with estimates. Straight to the point and very trustworthy guys. If you ever have a problem with your car, let them know Ahmed says hi!

C G Auto is hands down the best auto shop I have ever been to. Chris is the best! He is so incredibly friendly, honest, and has the best communication. The C G Auto team is also so friendly. Chris will do his absolute best to repair any car issues you may be having. He also will take the time to explain to you the problem he found and all of the options you have without pushing you to do something you don t want which I really appreciate. All of the pricing is also super reasonable. I truly cannot recommend C G Auto enough!

I've dealt with Chris twice.He's very nice. He doesn't price gouge people and he doesn't push on you things that you don't need. His prices are also more than fair.I've made him my new mechanic! I won't take my car anywhere else

I took my car to C G Auto Repair for a state inspection/emissions and although I was not a previous customer, I will definitely be a returning customer. I was beyond impressed with the kindness of the owner, both on the phone and in person, the timeliness of the service, the affordability, and the care with which my vehicle was treated. I have had many bad experiences with many mechanics in this area, so to have a great experience is like finding gold. I also appreciated the very friendly pup who greeted me both times I entered the office. Best welcoming committee around!

Chris has been consistently honest and fair in his work over the last two years since I started giving him my business. He's a great communicator about what needs to be done with our vehicles and it's always a pleasure to talk with him. I also appreciate his flexibility in scheduling. I've never had a problem getting a vehicle in with reasonable notice. I can't recommend him enough and will continue to take my vehicle to C.G. Auto.

Ive been to Chris twice. Very nice man. Hes fair with his prices and he doesnt try to push unnecessary things to buy when its not needed. I will NOT take my car anywhere else.

Very friendly people and extremely helpful! Good prices and timing. Not to mention you have the park nearby and downtown shops and cafes to visit while you wait. I am very grateful for Chris s help. Will be going again for any future services!

Great work, great service, great value. Took in a 10-year-old car that I figured was on it's last legs, they tuned it up for a few hundred dollars and it's running great. Had a van inspected, brakes and rotors changed and an oil change all done in less than four hours. Very courteous and thorough. Highly recommended.

Unbelieveable service! Chris and everyone at C&G Auto went above and beyond. On every step of the way, Chris explained everything he was doing, and was very helpful in presenting my options. I brought in a used car that was acting up like I had never seen -- the RPMs would rise when I wasn't pushing on the accelerator, and the vehicle would not come to a full stop unless I put the emergency brake on. Miraculously, Chris and the team was able to fix this issue - a feat that honestly I had no idea was in the cards. My previous mechanic had written it off as dead. Chris and the team pursued every option and saved the car. Thank you!!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I wish I could give Chris and his team 10 stars, but then I would wish I could give them 100. They are truly the best. No one likes hearing their car needs work, but Chris and his team, not only take care of you and your car, but show you what s to be done (they will literally talk to you part by part) and make you feel like family. My husband and I will never make the mistake of taking our cars anywhere else. I cannot stress it enough, there s a reason no rate on Google is less than 5 stars for the CG Auto team!
