Truly outstanding service from the people at Weddes! Craig and Troy were very helpful with my mother's Subaru. I found they offer a good alternative to the dealership for service at much more reasonable rates. This place has great people that work there. I have been having issues with my front end and took my jeep to a few mechanics that changed other stuff but could not find the issue I was feeling. I took it to Weddes to get an oil change and asked them if they could tell me the issue and they found out it was a ball joint that is extremely warn. I will be getting that fixed along with my admission and inspection after they fix the ball joint. I'm extremely pleased they were able to tell me when so many others obviously didn't take their time to check properly.... My son's old boss bought him a truck from their and we are pleased with the truck that was bought from there and I am happy it was Weddes it was bought from because I needed a good mechanic and was searching for one and because it was bought from there I found my mechanic match for myself and my son. I was experiencing some serious mechanical issues with my 160k mile Subaru and was concerned she might be ready for the junk yard. The crooks at my local dealership rather rudely suggested the car was on its last leg and the only solution they offered was to throw several thousand dollars of parts & labor at car.Luckily, while doing research on a Subaru forum, I happened upon Weddes Auto Center in Bath, PA and figured I'd try them for a second opinion. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. First, they took the time to understand the timeline of my problem. Then, they explained possible reasons for problems and outlined potential solutions.What stood out to me the most was their honesty and transparency. They were upfront about the costs and time frames involved for the repairs. No added pressures to upsell unnecessary parts or services (like the always dreaded cabin filter, LOL). They even gave me some tips on which aftermarket parts to consider and which to avoid to prevent future issues.The bottom line is, even though Weddes is more than an hours drive from my house, it is well worth it for the quality of service I received. I highly recommend Weddes to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy repairs. I couldn't be happier!BONUS 1- I respect them for closing the shop for lunch from 12 to 1pm each day. Auto technicians deserve a proper lunch break too. You will not find a more competent, honest and friendly mechanics shop than Weddes. I have been going to Weddes for at least 5 years having everything from simple oil changes, tire installation, brake work, emissions work, AC repair....I had brakes on a Mercedes SUV replaced at a 40% discount from the dealer charges. And work is done in a timely fashion.Weddes is a certified Subaru shop, but do not think they are limited from working on any and all vehicles, including diesels. Have been incredible so far taking car in, diagnosing, and communicating to replace transmission. Will post follow-up a couple of weeks after we get the car back.

Won't take my car anywhere else!Been going here about 4 years. The owner Craig is a friend of mine I met at my job and they always take great care of me. Lots of shops out there will take advantage of people but not this one. Straight to the point and honest always. I've always lived 20 minutes away from here and it's always been worth the drive. Need a tow? They got you on that too.

I needed to get some work done on my Subaru before I could get it inspected. The Owner Craig and his staff were very knowledgable and explained everything that would be getting done, including the price after everything was said and done. I actually took some parts there and they installed them for me. They even work with you if you pay cash. Very reliable and honest. Fast turn around time.

I truly could not ask for a better team to take care of my Subaru. I have taken my car there for both maintenance and possible sudden issues - all addressed in a professional and timely manner. I took my car in when my muffler decided to pop and drop while I was caring for my husband during a significant illness and Craig and Troy were my life savers. My car was brought in via tow, part ordered, and new muffler installed in under 3 hours!! I am always informed of what to expect and potential issues. I originally reached out to Weddes for a quote after multiple co-workers recommended them. So happy I did! I have a Volvo XC70 T6 and needed new brakes and rotors. Weddes quoted me almost HALF of the dealer price. What a huge savings! They were equipped to handle the electronic coding portion of replacing my brakes as well - not something every garage has on site. They were honest and upfront - the bill was the same as what they quoted me. The work was completed on time as well. So glad I reached out to them initially. I will be bringing my vehicle here for all servicing!

I wish I knew about these guys long ago!! The work done here is amazing and Troy is beyond patient and explains things clearly and answers all questions thoroughly. No matter how many I asked...which was a lot! He's great!!! I appreciate this shop & the outstanding work they do so much!!!

Good service and friendly staff. Extremely busy and usually making appointments weeks out so make sure to call ahead. They are the place to go if you have a Subaru.
