I went to Filchners I had Vern there was a rattle on my cars front side he found my oil was almost dry where I went before they never put the right miles on till this oil change Vern found it he is awesome the rattle stopped he did my oil change my car runs great I will take all my business to Vern he is awesome!!! So when anyone needs work done by a professional go to Vern!!!!

I found Vern through a friend and it has been a great experience. He has always replied quickly to appointment requests and has evening hours which work for my schedule. Vern is very knowledgeable and attentive to all details of my car. He explains his findings clearly to me. Recently, he uncovered a very serious issue, advising me of potential safety problems. Once I found another car, Vern did a complete and thorough multi-point vehicle safety inspection. Vern is an excellent mechanic. He is very conscientious and professional. I always tell Vern to make any repairs necessary when he has my vehicles in the garage. He will always call and text me pictures of what needs to be done and how he is going to perform the repair before he does any work. My vehicles are 04 pickup truck and 09 passenger vehicle. The passenger vehicle is german-engineered. He has both Vehicles operating better than they have in a long time. I cannot express how much I appreciate the work performed at filchners garage!

Vern is a very professional, knowledgeable, skilled mechanic. It is obvious he cares about the integrity of his work. He worked overtime trying to figure out what was wrong with my car so that I could have it back asap, even working during a snow storm. His rates are more than reasonable. It s hard to find a mechanic you feel you can genuinely trust, and that s the kind of mechanic Vern is. I was referred to Filcher s Garage by my regular mechanic for a problem with the OBD2 port. We could not get a connection to check the engine light problem. It turned out to be a blown fuse Vern had it fixed in a short amount of time.
