If I could give them a lower score I would. They lie and tell you to that you need to take the extra insurance coverage out knowing you have full coverage on your vehicle. Then charge you ridiculous amount of money for this insurance. Then when you question them about this they only say this is part of our training. So we have to push it. Then they redirect you to talk to their manager that in never available. When he calls back he has a bit of an attitude and swears his people would never do this and says he isn't doing anything to help the situation. This is a horrible company to rent from. I definitely recommend going somewhere else.

We arrived at the location and the plaza is burn like 80%Hertz office was save from the fire, now the employees are standing next to it at the parking lot to assist us. We was seeking for help about our car return that the drop off location will be MIA Airport instead of JFK Airport. We was told that we may return the car in Miami International Airport, with out any problem.Thanks.Customer service at this location is a 10 star definitely.

This location has been closed for around 5 months but in the Google maps it still shows as open. I came to the site today and saw it is closed since June 25, 2023. Why they haven't updated it?

Always a pleasure to deal with. They pick you up if you need a ride to get the vehicle and they will pick up car from garage when your car is repaired. I use them all the time.

This location has been awesome and always taken care of me anytime something pops up. Every associate including the manager have been extremely courteous and awesome. I have been to other hertz location that lacks the customer service this location displays.

We just tryed to rent a car from here I reserved it on Priceline I ve been using Priceline for 15 years I never had any issues !!! Hertz was trying to charge me $200 security deposit on top of $461 plus another $150 for the driver This is the worst place I ve ever been

I ve had need for a rental a few times over the past couple of years, and I will always choose this Hertz location. Always. They are helpful and kind, and reasonable. Christian is an amazing employee and represents them so well.

Trying to contact this office during business hours is ridiculous. Called 5 times & no answer. My insurance company also tried to no avail. It also looks like they are doingdeceitful business practices. Let's just say they overcharged me a day's rental, they also made me purchase a damage waiver, even though I did not need it as my insurance company covers the rental 100% & Hertz is aware of this but did not explain it to me that way. I then called the 800 number & after being on hold for about 15 minutes, was able to relay the overcharge issues. After another almost 10 minutes on hold I was told they could not do anything for me & that I had to contact my insurance company. I will never use or reccomrecHertz again. Will file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. Really wish I could leave a zero star rating. Totally unprofessional.

Car smelled like weed, when I brought it to the attention of customer service they said I didn t meet the requirements for a refund. Any other car company would be better to rent from

A tree fell on my car. Insurance made a reservation for me to get a car at batronsville location. The Bartonsville location dont answer their own phones and get transferred to agusta nj an hour away from me. I got a confirmation code and everything for BARTONSVILLE Since they dont answer the phone and the people in agusta have no idea whats going on, i showed up because i need a car for work tomorrow. Turns out my reservation is in hacketstown and they dont have anything for me for a FEW DAYS. Thanks Hertz, I now have to miss two days of work because I cant get to the hacketstown location in time for close. Had someone been answering the phone when employees were there i could have just went to hacketstown but you screwed me and this is not the time to make people miss work because you dont answer the phone for your location.

Yes..stupid me..but anyway..got a rental this a.m. nice guy Denzel who brought it to the body shop for me. Car was parked against the building..up near...nose first..tires facing in..not something you would think about.....because Denzel was busy going over the outside of car..etc. Etc.. Drove it home...got packed..on way to friends house stopped at a store.....policeman walked by...stopped and said...those tires are pretty bald ma'am.......and I looked down and sure enough bald. I explained this was a.rental and stupid me never noticed. He said I shouldnt have had to worry about that...take it home and make them exchange it. But its after 7..so no one around. So I'm paying for a car I can't use . Never ever use these people. Theres no way they did not know the tires were bald. Im sure they hoped I wouldnt notice and stupid me i did not...11 28 pm..the saga continues. Never ever ever use hertz..ever. Their customer service people..denise her name was was very good. Sent Mike (after she asked if I would ride to the airport with the tow truck driver to get a new car....ah no.) So she sent mike all the way from Philly (3 hours..he was very nice..but its still 11 at night) and sent him with a crabby little ford focus......i paid for a mid range. .alta size..fsize..full back seat trunk...this one barely has a back seat ..its a piece of crab and i saw no adjustment for down grading me on the papers handed me. I will let you know in the morning.....(they are making me late for my trip too) what happens. Dont ever use this company. Ever.

It's great. Nice small local rental office that was closed for quite awhile due to lack of cars but now they have them and extremely efficient and nice.

Hit a deer and car insurance recommended this place. They charged me on 3 separate occasions after I took it back and refused to refund any of it. Insurance covered it in full. Will never use again

bad experience, answer machine is always full, promise to exchange larger cars , but I have been waiting for 3 days, no call back. NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Staff is very friendly and fast service. They are unable to wash rental cars on site so the car we took was absolutely filthy.

Horrible a body shop rented the car for me I had to leave my cc obv and they wanna charge me card even cuz the auto body shop didn't wanna cover it anymore after they were the ones who put me in the rental hertz is a joke

They required credit check if you have no credit card!! And credit card deposit It s 200 and debit card if you pass credit check It s 500!!! Good luck!!
