I can find it difficult to come across car / tire shops that provide honest & friendly service, but today's experience was exactly as such. Jazz, at the front desk, told me options i can pick from in order to get the best price possible for new tires. Not to mention, she called me up to give her my keys right after walking in the door. She's quick on her feet but does her work diligently! I was frustrated that my car tires just went flat after only a few weeks of getting new ones, but i walked out feeling pleased as she was attentive to my needs. Will certainly return in the future when other service is needed.

When you go ask for Carter!My husband and I caught a flat near this tire shop. We called at 4:55 pm and they close at 5:00 pm. We stressed that we were on a donut and really needed a tire and they told us to come right in.Carter has excellent customer service skills and he made sure he took care of our need! We ended up getting two front tires for a really good deal!

I had a bubble on my tire and with upcoming work travel, this was not what I had wanted or planned for. Carter, Jazz, and the team took me in right away and were able to fix my tire. Originally it looked like the location didn't have my tire in stock and Carter was ready to jump in the car to grab one but thankfully they did find one. They replaced the tire and also let me know about upcoming items that would need to be addressed with my car. Thank you for the quick and kind service.

Very busy when I got there late in the afternoon to have a tire replaced. They were very transparent about how long the wait would be. Couldn't ask for anything more. The young lady who checked me in ( I think her name was Jazz) was very helpful in keeping an eye on the wait and getting my car taken car of.

Jazz was very helpful from the time I called to see if there was availability for an oil change. Once I got there she got my car right in. Jazz told me what the recommendations were for my car & had the team get right on it. She was professional & fast. This was my first visit & I will return.

This Mavis location is great. Excellent customer service and communication. I ve gone here a few times the past 3 years and have had no issues. Shout out Armando for his excellent customer service at my visit yesterday!

Brought my car in to address some tire issues I was having. The mechanics pointed out a number of important preventative maintenance needs that were compromising safety. While nobody loves to hear they need a ton more work on their vehicle than they are expecting, staff showed me exactly what was needed and why. When I agreed to have them perform the work, they did EVERYTHING possible to get me the best pricing available. They did AMAZING work and I am so happy with the outcome. My Escape is riding like it's brand new again! Super-friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend people consider Mavis on City Ave for their maintenance needs!

The staff at this location are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough in helping you understand exactly what your car needs. They provide great tires at fair prices. They are realistic about how long the work takes so that you can count on the time estimate they provide.

Excellent service. When I ordered online I got exactly what I wanted. No haggling over prices. And they were decent enough when I came back for them to double check the lug nuts that they double check the air pressure in the tires that were originally on my vehicle and I did not get changed with them. I will definitely go back to this franchise cuz it do seem to do a really good job.

Highly recommend! Most respectful, kind people that work here. Many employees went out of their way to make sure my car got the work it needed at a decent price range. Carter spent the extra time showing me what to look for in the future (still learning how to not get swindled) and Armando put in the extra work helping me with payment options. I ll only bring my car here in the future. Thank you!

Carter did a great job today. We brought our car in at 12 pm for state inspection, new tires and oil change and they got it all done before they closed at 6pm just like they promised! I will continue to make them my go to car service shop!

I went to the Bala Cynwyd store. My experience was a great one. Had some tire issues and got the help I needed. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. Store was clean and and I would definitely go bk if I need some more work on my car.

I'm not even waiting to post a review, im still here suffering....3+ hours to replace two tires... one of the mechanics came in asking the young lady in the front for my keys...they lost my keys for a good 10 minutes... two individuals came after me and are now gone. Tires are tires, but good and expeditious service is important. The only redeeming quality at this place is the girl at the front. Good job Jazz, good customer service. you saved them from a 1 star review.

Will definitely go back! Great customer service. Staff was amazing. Got help from Armando, He was super helpful, very kind and got down to the bottom of my issue with my car even gave me a coupon discount. Best Service ever! No lie!

Ive been coming here for years and the team is always great. Carter always remembers me and is super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They are typically good at getting you in and out, and I've had better overall service than other shops I've gone to. I never feel like I'm getting ripped off, and I'll always come back to Mavis City Ave.

I was in Philly for 48 hours having driven 430 miles (from Cleveland) - and realized before my trip home that all of my tires were low. I stopped in to Mavis - no appointment - as I was nervous about making a large drive with tires that were registering low! Carter took me right in, checked my tires, which were all low, and put air in all four of them and even waited while I reset the car to register the newly inflated tires! I was back on the road in 10 minutes! They were amazing. Highly recommend - thanks Carter!!!

I came today, worked with Jazz, explained everything I wanted to know about my car problems and took me inside to show me the problems too. They didn t just do what I asked for, they actually found out more problems and told me to fix the whole problems first. So they are actually care about your money, if they wanted money they would just do whatever you say and not care about the other problems. In short, honest and amazing people. Rare to find. Thank you so much!

I have been to this location about 4 times in total. Whether it s a flat tires, wheel alignments, purchasing new tires or mechanical advice in general, this particular Mavis location has performed exceptionally well. In addition, Jazz displayed excellent customer service from the beginning until the conclusion of visit! I plan to continue doing business with them and recommend that you do the same!

Every time we go to this place we swear it will be the last. Then time and convenience the promise of new management brings us back. It doesn't get better. This most recent visit they lied about looking at our slow leak, swore they checked it and found nothing. We insisted on seeing them do the check, and wouldn't you know, *this* time they found the hole in the tire. (Their dunk tank, btw, wasn't fully filled with water, which meant it couldn't be operated properly, which could make it prone to user error.) Anyway, really really not going back here any more.

I had two tires replaced here two months ago. I recently noticed (especially on cold days) another tire (not one I bought from them) was losing a LOT of pressure. I called Mavis early this morning, and they said I could come in at my earliest convenience. I was there in 10 minutes and they had my vehicle in the garage immediately. After their "bubble" diagnostics found no leaks, they offered to re-bead the tire at no charge. In 20 minutes I was back on the road with all tires topped off. So far, no loss of pressure. Their staff were polite, professional and competent. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely not! Do not go here. My car was towed here on Monday. I thought all I needed was a tire which turns out it needed more than that. They said they could complete the work and told me the next day my car would be finished. I took off from work Tuesday so I sat there all day and finally at 4pm they told me my car was done, the mechanic comes running and tells me my car is DANGEROUS and I can not drive it. Proceeds to show me what s wrong with it and and cracks my tire rod. Okay so now I need a tire rod. They say they can do it, it will be done Wednesday. I call Wednesday they can t do it. Tell me it ll be done Thursday by 2 o clock, it now 5:30. Every employee has an attitude and my car still is not fine. I m all for honesty. If you can t fix it you can t fix it that s fine BUT LET ME KNOW SO I CAN TOW IT SOMEWHERE ELSE! It s the holiday weekend and I could have towed it Tuesday and been in a rental so me and my kids could get around safe! I am beyond annoyed and I feel like they just don t care when I ve been nothing but honest to them and patient. This all could have been avoided. Do not go here. Multiple people are also complaining in the lobby as I type this.Smh

The staff here is really nice and the work was of generally good quality - just keep an eye out for missed details.The service was generally fine and they were very polite about delays in getting my car completed. No worries there, things happen.The major concern was multiple duplicate line items on my invoice and more expensive tires were charged. All was rectified before I left with my vehicle, but I easily could have been over charged hundreds of dollars if I didn't question the total before paying.

These guys are life savers. My tire had a slow leak and ended up having a few nails in it that I couldn't see and repair was beyond a few plugs. I needed a new tire, but I explained money was tight and couldn't afford a whole new tire. My tires are covered under warranty with my dealership, but I couldn't make the drive with an essentially flat tire. They showed me so much generosity and empathy and worked with me to make sure I could afford the new tire. I've never experienced this at an auto shop before. And I mean NEVER. I would absolutely come back here and recommend them to others!
