Kevin is awesome and does a great job and has checked and fixed things without charging me b/c he is a good dude and I have been a loyal customer. I have been using Bala Auto Repair for over five years for two vehicles and have been nothing but grateful for their services! Every single staff member I've interacted with has been nothing but honest and caring for not just my car but my safety. I have on multiple occasions asked for help and they have gone above and beyond to help me! Best shop in town by far. They've helped me get my vehicle repaired and up and running for an affordable price, told me what I needed and what could wait, and were honest with me every step of the way. I've had some other mechanics try and sell me on things I didn't need and it was a breath of fresh air walking into this place feelin like I was really taken care of. Very nice guys too. They've fixed flat tires for me when I needed it and are flexible and accommodating. Long as I'm living in the area, I wouldn't go anywhere else.10/10 would recommend!

We had a broken exhaust pipe, car became disabled. We are out of staters and were in the area visiting, took it in for a repair...they immediately put it up on the lift and made the repair for us. Within an hour we were on our way. Great guys, honest work and really cared about the car. Would definitely recommend instead of those big chain garages.

I highly recommend this auto repair shop to everyone! My car needed alot of work done to it and these guys did an AMAZING job. Kevin & Neil are such nice guys and incredly respectful of you & your time. Kevin is never pushy with his suggestions if added work needs to be done in his professional opinion and he always does a quality job with repairs. Hardworking, nice, and professional are the best descriptors for Bala Cynwyd Auto!! I won't go anywhere else!

Neil, Jake, and the whole crew at Bala Cynwyd Auto Repair are top-notch! I go to this shop for all of my auto service needs! From routine inspections to big jobs, these guys are honest, efficient, and experienced. Prices are reasonable and there aren't any hidden charges or anything like that. My Mustang is incredibly important to me and these are the only guys I trust to work on it!

Bala Cynwyd Auto Repair & Service is a hidden gem. The service I received was better than any service that I have received for my car, ever. Their team was in constant communication with updates and they never made a decision without my consultation. Their service, quality, and price is, in my opinion the best in the area. If you have car issues I would recommend going to them first.

Top notch. Very honest and won t con you into doing work that is not necessary. Takes the time to really explain what is going on with your vehicle in detail and in a way you can understand. Went above and beyond making sure my vehicle was safe unrelated to what I went in there for. Best prices out of all the shops I checked in the area. Thank you!

I've been here a few times with both my truck and car. They've always been very helpful, especially getting my truck ready for a recent cross country trip. Fair prices and dependable work. I've tried lots of local mechanics over the years and I like coming here best.

I have taken my car to Bala Cynwyd Auto Repair several times. Scheduling service is quick and efficient. Jake is a great mechanic who gets it done on time and for a fair price. Bala is a great find. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is simply an excellent business. The owner even came by my house to check on my car so we didn't have to have it towed. If you're in the area and going elsewhere, you're missing a local gem.

Top notch mechanic, who knows a variety of vehicles and how to repair them. Honesty is key here, the place only does what is necessary to repair your car, no games. It's like talking to your father and brother about repairing your vehicle. I drive from glen mills to go here. Best shop around.

I went here because they had really good reviews on google. I showed up and explained to them that my car had just shut off while I was driving down the road. They said they would look at it but the next day called and said nothing was wrong with my car. A few days later I took it out and the same thing happened. I had to be towed to the shop and they said they would look into it again. They fixed something but essentially told me they had no idea if that fixed the problem or not.None of that was what upset me, though. It was the fact that they left a part in the BACK OF MY CAR (it was covered in grease and dirt which stained my car seat), after knowing that I had to leave work early just to make it to the shop in time and also had to spend $20 in ubers to get there.When I called to tell them they did this, they replied with an extremely condescending voicemail. Instead of apologizing and saying I could bring it back in - they voicemail stated that they placed the part in the car, did the work, put the car back together, test drove it, and then that "he was soooooo elated that he actually forgot to put the part on!" There was no apology for any inconvenience, for staining my car, or for costing me another trip to a mechanic during work hours.I will absolutely never take my car here again. It's extremely unprofessional in any setting to speak to a customer like that after having made a mistake. An apology would have sufficed.

This is the only place I will take my two Hondas - 2000 CRV and 2002 Odyssey. A quick call and I'm set up with an appointment; easy to get an oil change, inspection, or something else checked out if I'm worried that more is going on. Jake explains what he thinks is going on, advises on future care and maintenance, and there aren't any surprises. Totally reasonable and reliable. Why did I not find this place sooner?So glad Bala Cynwyd Garage exists!

Great service. They'll do their best to fit you in for routine service/maintenance. If it's a bigger job they'll assess and give a fair estimate and let you know when the work will be done. Love this place.

This place is a gem. I wish I found this place years ago. They're honest, trustworthy, and friendly guys. Kevin is the man. They'll always take the time to explain everything and will never pressure you into unnecessary repairs. Do yourselves a favor and check them out! You won't regret it.

I usually work on my vehicle myself but I needed a wheel bearing replaced and it was a little more then I could handle so I brought it to these guys, I can not say enough good things about them, honesty and ability are what they are all about just to name a few! I recommend them to everyone!

I would highly recommend this company. Not only are they really wonderful people they are great mechanics. Also they resolve issues in a timely fashion and the wait time is extremely reasonable.

I took my 2005 Prius into Bala Garage because it was making an awful growling noice while driving. Kevin quickly identified the bearing issue and fixed it within a day for much less than the local Toyota dealership was charging. Car is running great now. Thanks!

After being price gouged at the Costa-Lot down the street, I tried these guys out - Definitely one of the better mechanics around. They were detailed and willing to explain the work in-depth. I appreciate a communicative mechanic!
