I hit a pothole on Haverford Road this afternoon and limped into Heilman Auto Service with a flat tire. Tom was very friendly and helpful. He had my spare tire put on for me and ordered the tire I need. He is going to call me as soon as the new tire arrives. I m relieved to have been able to make it to Heilman after that pothole. This made a difficult situation much more bearable.

Brought my car in for emissions inspection but didn't pass due to the "monitors not being ready" which was my fault for resetting a check engine light. Ended up not being ready the second time as you need to drive the car 50-100 miles usually to set readiness, but in my case a lot more.They were very patient and helpful in the process, and when I brought it in the third time they hopped in the car to do a quick check before I left, and the car passed.

They ripped me off yesterday for my inspection. They charged me 185 dollars for labor even though they made me wait over an hour for a part they didn't have and the guy "working" on my car was on the phone at the front desk most of the time while I was there. They TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN HERE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. Go to a legitimate place like Midas or Firestone for repairs. All I needed was air filters and break fluid by the way.

Daughter took in her car due to it sputtering every so often, asked for a tune-up and spark plugs changed.85 dollars for 4 spark plugs!! 33 dollars for an air filter!!I called and asked about a set price for spark plugs changed, the mechanic would not give me a set price, said it all depends on the vehicle...Seems shady to me and garage took advantage of someone having car issues.

Really frustrating experience with annual inspection. Quoted extremely high prices for work that questionably needed to be done. Got short with my husband when he said he'd do the work himself.

they have a handicapped space near the bathroom and an access ramp for a wheelchair, which is always blocked by cars - but after complaining to the attendant and to the Sunoco customer service line - they don't really seem to have compassion for those in a wheelchair. Pass the word about that they discriminate against disabled peoples.
