UPDATE:I originally gave this AAA 1 star, but it turns out I was wrong. It wasn't AAA's fault, but PENNDOT'S. I received prompt and excellent service after posting my review, and my issue has now been resolved. Both AAA and PENNDOT got it done for me and are mailing me a new license. I am more than satisfied with this resolution, and thus have updated this review to 5 stars to reflect their excellent service. I definitely do recommend them and their services!Original:I went to get my picture taken for my driver's license. There were 9 people ahead of me! Then I finally get my new license only to find out that they made holes in my new one instead of my old one. Now they expect me to go to a regular DMV to get it reprinted! It's their mistake not mine, why couldn't they reprint it for me! Very disappointed! Would not recommend them at all!

Tried to use their Travel Advisor Services in Ardmore, PA. Horrible experience. Our first Advisor met with us and then unexpectedly left AAA. Was never informed by AAA and had to call several times to understand what had happened. Finally got to another Advisor that made lots of apologies and then lots of promises to pick up the ball and didn t deliver on anything. We finally ditched AAA and went to another company.AAA needs to improve their systems and processes to account for situations like this. AAA used to be much better but it s gone down hill. We won t go back. Would not be comfortable putting our trip in AAA s hands.

Review is for the DMV photo center in the AAA location. The staff was helpful and efficient. I was able to get in, get my new license and back on the road in about 20 minutes. Great alternative to the lines at the DMV locations.

Must have caught someone on a bad day. Very rude giving information over the phone regarding passports. Will go elsewhere

Not sure why there are negative reviews of the fingerprinting process. You're taken by appointment time, and the employees are pleasant. The longest part of the process is confirming all your information that you entered while making an appointment. It took about 10-15 minutes, which is what is advertised. I guess it would take longer if there were a ton of appointments, or if you messed up too many times during the actual fingerprinting process.

If you already have your camera card you can come here on a Monday and renew your license for no extra fee whether you are a AAA member or not because there is a little PennDOT area inside the AAA. I wasn t sure at first so I called to check and they confirmed so I came on in. I was literally in and out of there in what couldn t have been more than 10 minutes. And these PennDOT employees care if you like your picture and will let you take it again if you aren t thrilled! Nothing like a normal trip to PennDOT. Nice people and fast experience. I ll be coming here forever now.

After waiting 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon I was able to get me international drivers license. Very busy location with a queue out the door.

Awful experience. I took my lunch break and after waiting an hour I had to leave. I came back at 4:00PM, an hour before closing. After waiting for another hour to renew my Driver License they told me that the photograph employee has left at 5:00PM and nothing can be done. One of the principles of customer service is DON'T LEAVE WORK UNTIL THE LAST CUSTOMER. I felt like in a government building. I would highly recommend choosing a different location.

Went for passport pictures. Maybe because of the time of day, there was barely any wait. The photographer was very personable and knowledgeable. Best part was my pictures were free because of my membership status.

I emailed a representative on Feb 22, followed up with another email and phone call. I still have not heard from this representative? Very disappointed!I just renewed my membership and wanted assistance with planning a trip.

Customer service excellent. AAA has always reached out to me and given me upgrades and deals. im so grateful as my car troubles should be the least of my worries while i am working hard on my career and bussiness. Thanks so much!!! Thank you John at Ardmore, we connected well and shared a laugh.

I don t leave poor Google reviews. However, this is necessary. I waited 90 minutes to get fingerprints that took all of 5 minutes. I had to reschedule work meetings to get in here and then move schedules again due to extremely poor customer service taking so long. No updates on the wait either. I d suggest finding another place to go for your services.

i really hate to leave a negative review, but do NOT get your fingerprints done here. this is not a reflection of the staff or their interactions, but systems here are clearly not working for this service. with an appointment made days before, i still waited two hours past that before i was called (and even then i was almost skipped). no updates or queue list is given in all that time. it was mentioned that systems were down earlier, but i've heard about the same thing happening to others on multiple different days, so that doesn't seem like the core issue. there is one station with high demand and minimal staff assistance with the actual fingerprinting (leading to a lot of redos, whereas i've been in and out in 5 minutes at other locations with more physical direction).i've been getting fingerprints done for years at different places and have never had an experience like this. save yourself a lot of time by going somewhere even just a little further out.

CAN'T TRUST INFORMATION GIVEN OVER THE PHONE,They have people answering the phone who don't know what they are talking about.I renewed my license months ago and lost my camera card, I called and asked if I could come in and renew my license again, I was told that I could, took a Lyft there, when I got there they told me that they could not do anything for me except order me a new camera card, had to take another Lyft home.

This was not a place to get stuck! I had five little grandchildren in my car for 3 1/2 hours. Phone calls were difficult and finally the last person we talked to got someone for us. I have AAA+ for 40 years so that i am not stuck for a long time in a undesirable spot.WAS NOT GOOD! the person they gave us a number to try finally got to us 20 min. After the call. He was fine!! Towed to my garage.

They couldn't help me but they took the time to see if they could! They all was friendly and professional. Especially the one who greets you and tell you if they can help or they will still see you if she's not for sure they will double check! First time there never knew about them. Went with my brother and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! 10 stars!!

Came in on 11/13/21 with my camera card to get my photo taken and it was all around a bad experience. Instead of being greeted, one of the workers there said you can t grab a ticket unless you have a camera card. Maybe she thought I was Asian and can t read English or something but it was just a bad vibe. Then once it was my turn to get my photo taken, my camera card didn t scan because it got wet. So then I left and went to the DMV at Granite Run, long and behold it scans .

I went into the office shared by the DMV photo center and AAA Saturday 1/15 to get my driver's license renewed. I told the lady at the front desk (I didn't get her name, so let's call her Karen) what I was there for. She said ok and asked for my paperwork. I gave it to her and she typed my information into the computer. After she was done, "Karen" told me the DMV was closed for the national holiday and that she worked for AAA. I asked why all the typing and she said "Oh, we just do that to update our records." Again, I told her I was there to renew my driver's license and she took that as an opportunity to get my personal information for AAA. Now, I don't know if that is illegal, but it is most certainly unethical.

In the end AAA did help get through the hell of resolving an out of state title mess caused by a dealership screw up... But they sure didn't make it easy. AAA staff was simply impossible to get a hold of by phone and despite numerous promises to call back with updates, they never did. I always had to keep chasing them for the simplest things like confirming that they did in fact get the faxed paperwork from the dealer and pendot etc.If AAA was on the ball and proactive, all of this could have been resolved in one day, instead it took a week of me calling pendot and the dearship and AAA over and over and AAA was in fact the least cooperative by far.

I first came to the Ardmore store after being robbed and badly beaten! Everything was in my wallet, so I needed my license and registration to get replaced ASAP!! Brother recommended this place and after leaving I started to feel whole again because they helped me to start piecing my life back together!! Very thankful for this place and got everything the same day!!

Don't waste your time making an appointment. They don't honor it nor do they value your time. Poor customer service and they allow people to jump in line for finger prints. I won't be returning.
