Friendly and knowledgeable service.We had a slow leak and dropped in to get help. They found the issue and repaired the tire quickly. They even gave our sons a tour of the shop while we waited.We're so grateful for the help in need. It turns out flat tire service is FREE. I cannot recommend this Discount Tire enough.

I stopped here because my aluminum tire valve caps had seized to my tire valves and I couldn t remove them. Their manager Chad came outside to greet me and asked how they could help. I told him of my situation and that I couldn t remove my caps. He said yes, unfortunately that does happen and proceeded to invite me into the store where he asked for my identification information. I wasn t sure how much he was going to charge me as some other place had quoted me $75 to remove & replace three of my valves entirely. One of the caps was off too. Chad was super friendly and professional and we talked a lot about MI where he was from and where I went to college. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store and shop and all the workers professionalism. He asked me for my keys and I said wait a minute, how much will this cost? He said oh we do not charge anything to repair any tires! I said WHAT, no cost? He said no none at all. I said ok well then go ahead and replace my valves! I was super impressed with Chad, the manager, the store, and the guys in back that worked on my car! I will definitely be a customer for life!Thank you Discount Tire!!

They consistently do a great job and go the extra mile without nickel and diming me. Places like this earn me as a loyal customer.I've used this location twice within the past few months and both times were great.First time they got me out of a jam when I had a punctured tire. I called ahead and they had a tire in stock and they even stayed a few minutes after hours to get it mounted.Second time they mounted me up a set of new summer tires I ordered off their site for a good deal. I brought them a set of used wheels and tires I had just bought for my vehicle. They took the time to check the balance of the newly purchased used wheels to make sure there were no defects before mounting up and balancing the new tires. To top it all off they replaced 2 worn out lug nuts that were hard to get a socket on.. for free. My whole appointment only took 45 minutes.Very happy with this Discount Tire location and I'll continue to use them.

Best service there is! I was amazed at how pleasant, helpful and kind this team is. I was helped even though I did not have an appointment, and the work was efficient and affordable. I m never going anywhere else:)

Trust me, I drive for a living! Without awareness of closing hours I showed up five minutes before closing time. Both Chad and Mitchell were still ready to help somebody out. I was in a jam. Chad really helped me understanding the importance of the specific tire going onto vehicle. The price was super competitive and absolutely not worth looking elsewhere. I drive between 52,000-78,000 miles annually. I will NEVER go anywhere else. 5 stars for Discount Tire! Thanks!!!!!!!

Great customer service, everyone is super friendly and helpful. They got my tires changed quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend to get your tires changed, repaired and or rotated here.

I called the store just to schedule an appointment and talk about tire prices. Chad was very helpful and encouraged me to come right in after work, even though they would be closing in 1 hour after I would be arriving. Chad greeted me and showed me my options and was honest about the condition of my current tires (which was not good). He insisted it would only take about a half hour and I wouldn t be holding them up. The men in the shop were so quick, and kind! They ensured that my tires had the right pressure before I pulled out of the parking lot. I drove a half hour home and my car rode so much smoother and there no issues at all. I highly recommend this store - especially with how great their customer service is along with their great work!!

I stopped in about 45 minutes until close on a Saturday. I called first to tell them my situation before I bothered stopping. I had a flat tire that was trashed and needed replaced. The guy said no problem come on in. He came out to my car, checked all the tires, advised that I replace 2 of them, but recommended all 4 before winter. Also noticed my wipers were trash, which I had forgotten about. I got 2 new tires and new wipers put on. Seemed honest about the tires, read me what some of the reviews were and didn't try and push the most expensive tires on me or anything else for that matter. Both guys I dealt with were very professional and pleasant. Honestly, one of the best experiences I've had ever dealing with a car repair shop. I've been to so many places for an oil change or something along those lines and got there an hour, 90 minutes before close, just to be treated like the world's biggest a*****e for stopping. How dare I need an oil change when they are an hour away from clocking out! Not Discount Tires... they obviously value the customers. Not to mention I was out of there in 20 minutes! Great place!

They were very friendly and fast! I stopped just to make an appointment and they got me right in and fixed my tire as well as a rotation all free as they stand behind their work. It s a great place to do business I highly recommend them. Keep up the great work guys!

My girlfriends Honda Civic had an issue with the rear tire losing air. I called Discount Tire in Altoona to see if they could look at it and they told me to bring it right in. Within a half hour they had it all fixed and at no charge. Great friendly service and they made a loyal customer today. Thanks.

Great customer service over the phone and in person. Very knowledgeable employees who will go though different prices and help you select the best option for your budget. It was busy when I arrived but I had my car back within an hour of dropping it off. Definitely recommend! Thank you Chad and Justin!

My company's GMC 3500 tossed a wheel weight while traveling through Pennsylvania. The tires were from a Discount Tire store in Michigan. This location was a bit out of the way, but well worth the detour.The staff were really helpful, and rebalanced all 6 tires. The ride for the rest of the trip was significantly improved! Happy to be a believer in buying tires from this chain.

We took a vehicle in because one of the rear wheel tires kept going flat, and they looked at and it fixed it up within an hour! Not only did they fix the tire we knew about, but they noticed the other rear tire was low too and also fixed it. The best part is they didn't charge us anything! We will definitely be back for future tire needs!

Discount Tire I wish the regional had not just left and would have seen some of this in person...I don't know what's worse being told this is how they do it, or chad lying to the adjuster... this is your new location altoona pa. The jack pads are 4 inches away from where they put the blocks. These cars have designated jack points that you did not even use, you just lifted it how you felt appropriate.

Courteous and swift service. As it turns out, one of the new tires had a defect in the sidewall causing bubble deformity. This was a spare. It had never been mounted after its purchase and I hadn't noticed the defect in 3 weeks.Discount Tire of Altoona replaced the tire despite my receipt having been lost. I am extremely satisfied.

My tire light came on. I called Discount tire and spoke with Chad. He told me to come in and they would look at it. Looks like 2 tires were overinflated and 2 tires were under inflated. They fixed it and told me no charge. I am so grateful. I highly recommend them for their honestly and quick service. Chad was awesome.

10/10 experience with Discount Tire. Justin and the other counter guy were super friendly/updating with the process/repair. Trevor did a good repair. I highly recommend to anyone and I will be going back to get new tires and any repairs from now on.

God puts people in our paths to help us. These people are those types of people. Charity is the greatest in God's eyes. They helped us beyond my asking. And asked for nothing in return. What is done in secret is rewarded openly. These people have a kindness in them..I recommend coming to them. It's where God wanted me to go.Ty again for all your help.May God bless and keep you all. Only waited a few minutes and Justin came and looked at my issues.. pulled the truck in and they got straight to work very good service!Clean lobby and friendly service. This is somewhere I would not mind my wife going to..Unlike most shops that are Gross and unwelcoming.

Justin was awesome at discount tire! Had low tire pressure warning on our car. Visiting PA from Oregon and he got our car in and found this issue and the tire was fixed! Super nice guy and great place !!
