Our vehicle broke down near Gillece's and we live hours away, so we had to make all arrangements over the phone after arranging for a tow. Aron at Gillece took care of us and the result was a repaired vehicle in a great turnaround time and at a fair price. It's a great experience to have trust in a shop that you've never visited in person.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My transmission went into service to have the seals changed, everything was good so far after the new seals, immediately go home and had fluid on the road between the transmission and transfer case, returned it under warranty and was charged an additional fee to fix that leak despite it not leaking prior to the reseal. This would've been fine if it was the end of the story, months later leaked again, went in under warranty, they sealed it, warranty expired and is still leaking to this day, I climb under to find missing transmission bolts and the rest were barely hand tight causing a massive pan leak. I am not a satisfied customer and will not return/recommend, 1300$ should last longer than a year.

I have never been so impressed with service from ANY car service shop. The folks at gillece really went above and beyond for my fianc� and I in regards to our totally destroyed transmission. Not only did the car experts brake down in complete full detail what the issues were with the transmission, but they also gave us a list of options depending on our price range what we could do to fix the issue. The manager Aaron was also very kind and understanding of our predicament and was very genuine , not rushing us (like many competitors have done in the past). All in all if you are looking for quality car service with phenomenal customer service, you gotta go Gillece.Service: Transmission

I called Gillece after my first quote/diagnosis seemed high, and it was the best decision I could have made. My first mechanic quoted me at $1700 for a broken clutch, which didn't seem like the correct issue. I called and (after I got over the shock that he had the tools to work on 1996 Saab! It's very rare to get someone who doesn't work in a specialty mechanic!) I described what the other mechanic had said. Jeremy said he would look at the current prices before giving me a quote. He called back within 10 minutes and quoted me at $1200 for the same repair. He also was kind enough to ask one of the men he works with to tow it so I didn't have to meet them at mechanic #1 and try to schedule with too many people. After taking a look, he called me to say the first place had diagnosed my car wrong (and they charged me $100 for it!) and it was only the clutch cable that needed to be replaced. Total costs: $475, including the $160 tow since I was so far away. Jeremy was professional, kind, and honest throughout the whole process and really gave me a fair deal. He always picked up the phone promptly and remembered my car and its issue without being reminded. I just wish they could do some other repairs on my car not related to the transmission! I highly recommend this place.

I would like to say, these guys are awesome! Aron was especially great. Had my van brake down, thought it was the transmission, it was the axle and the awesome mechanic, (didn't get his name) had me fixed up within 8 hours. Amazing people, I would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond and I'm very grateful.

Pulled into Gillece when my work truck suddenly had issues shifting. Aron was behind the front desk and was incredibly helpful. I work in remodeling and construction but trucks are another world to me. He was honest and patient with all my questions. Because it was a work vehicle, I was very thorough in understanding my options and Aron talked me through it all. Would highly recommend this location.

Took my car there because it needed a new 4th gear synchro. They told me I would have to get my whole transmission rebuilt. I do know about cars so that didn t seem right to me. After talking to many people they told me how they took there car there with simple problems and were told the same thing, transmission rebuild. They wanted to charge me 4,500 for the rebuilt. I had it towed to Jeff s transmission where it currently is and they told me 2,400 and it would ve been cheaper if Gillece didn t destroy my transmission working on it.

I was really amazed that a transmission shop didn t want to fix my transmission. The person I talked to was so unhelpful, and it really didn t seem like he knew anything about transmissions. All he told me is that he has nobody working and that he lent his people out to another shop.

George V. took his 2006 Nissan Frontier P/U to Gillece in Allison Park with transmission problems. Worked with Aaron who patiently and professionally explained all problems and procedures to me. I appreciated Aaron's service! Thank you!

This is not an easy location to get to, but, you'll get top quality work, and won't be priced gouged on your vehicle. Not only do they specialize in transmissions, they will take care of ALL your car needs except tires.

Quality service and quality people. Very honest and friendly. They took the time to explain what happened and went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable that everything was properly done to 100 percent my satisfaction. Also extremely fast and top quality work

Aaron worked HARD to accurately diagnose my problem. When everyone else was telling me it needed a new transmission, Aaron discovered it just needed a valve body rebuild. Saved me THOUSANDS.
