I could not recommend them enough. Have a vw cabrio so not as accessible and they fixed up things that people haven t been able to fix in years. Window has been leaking since 2015 and I have absolutely no leaks anymore. Taylor was who I talked too and who I think worked on my car and he s wonderful. Super fair pricing, quick, very communicative and exceptional work. I will only be taking my vw here from now!

I been bringing my vw's here since the mid 90's..will keep doing business here till they close the doors for good... Honest people won't try to take your money... Cheaper than the dealership

I recently bought a used Volkswagen Jetta off of a close friend. He was looking to get rid of it the way it was. And I decided it wasn t a lot of work and bought it. I thought it only had a bad trans mount and coilovers. Within a month of me having it my trans mount snapped. My axle broke. My control arms went bad. And my subframe was shot. L&T did all of that work with labor and parts for under 1,000$. I got the car back and it drove good for a few hours before I started to hear a knock/scraping sound. I brought it back and come to find out the coilovers were shot and the strut caps were not the right ones. The axle and sway bar were hitting off each other. The cars done and I m waiting to pick it up. 10/10 would recommend VW and Audi people here. They are reassuring and know there stuff.

I am very disappointed in this business. I live in Rochester, NY area and was working in the Bethlehem area for several weeks. I stopped in multiple times to talk about a custom shop truck he had. He gave me a price but said his mechanic took the keys home. I came back again and he started the truck up but had to leave unexpectedly when I asked him for the build sheet and dino information.He said leave my info at the office and he would get it to me. Never happened. I followed up with no response. He never was going to sell that truck to me. That's unfortunate.not cool.

I would never ever ever recommend this place to anyone. Have had our jetta for going almost 4 months...was to be done before Xmas. Then my fiance had to stop in to show the owner what he exactly wanted fixed on his jetta. The next day the owner was getting hand surgery normally you would tell someone that especially if they are meeting you to go over your car the day before. Yes he was sick , yes he had hand surgery but 4 months...the car is still on lyft I have called so many times the lady who answers says she hasn't heard from the owner can't get ahold of him. No one else can do anything on the car to fix it. No one calls with updates. I mean if this is normally the way a business is run well I am way behind the times. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. They should not be in business nor do I know how they are. I already filed with the BBB as well!!!!

Just took my car in to get an estimate on a repair and they charged me $55 for it!! I took it in a year ago and the father went out of his way to help out. Brought it in today and they were rude and short and the father wasn't around. Will definitely not be bringing my car there for any repairs or recommend to anyone. What a shame, the father built a great business.

I don't normally leave reviews but this place went above and beyond to help me out. Completely down to earth and honest staff. Warren was phenomenal and actually cared about helping me out, unlike most automotive places you go to today who are out for your money. He even went as far as overnighting a part for me that I needed without me asking!! I recommend this place to any of my family and friends that drive German vehicles. Couldn't be happier

originally gave 5 stars BUT the transmission they put in my car failed after a few days; I returned the car, they said they fixed it, they did not - FOUR times the replacement transmission failed within a day or two and left me stranded, four times they said they attempted to repair but it never was repaired properly. the replacement transmission failed a fifth, and, I assume, last time almost 2 years ago. it is still not resolved nor will they return my phone calls.

Absolute worst experience with a mechanic I have ever experienced. They straight up lied to me and did not replace anything on my car, which they told me they did, as was confirmed by a different mechanic. The part in question of supposedly being replaced was replaced, and my vehicle now operates perfectly fine. Do not utilize this sad excuse for an automotive repair shop, they have absolutely nothing good to offer. They straight up stole over $800 from me, and this is something that will be pursued legally.

Jim and Lenny knew my dad for several years and I've always came here for my used Volkswagen parts. Very good people here. Highly suggest if you need hard to find used parts for your Volkswagen.

Worst place to take your vehicles to they installed my clutch disk backwards on my 04 jetta had to buy all new clutch and flywheel also did a terrible job on my 03 passat valve cover gasket had to have drivers side replaced cost me thousands of dollars getting these repairs done right that I shouldn't have had to spend.

I've known the owner/family for 20+ years and they have always been great to me. Very family oriented business, and they all know VW and Audi inside and out. Very professional and can answer any question and diagnose. I have both a S4 and a Jetta and this is the only mechanic I will ever let touch them.

Second time going to them once for my Jetta and this time for my Audi very polite ppl honest and great prices wouldn t let anybody else work on a Audi or Jetta besides this place highly recommended for anybody in the valley or in the surrounding county s to work on vw or Audis

I have been taking my Jetta here since I got it 5 years ago. My dad took a beetle and Jetta here years before that, too. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they remember you. Warren has gone above and beyond to help me fix my car for very reasonable prices. When my "rare and expensive" fuel pump broke, he was able to overnight ship a new one in for me at much less than retail price. As long as I have my Jetta, I will be coming here.

L&T has serviced my kid's VW Cabrio for the past 3 year. Always great service and they turn around the car quickly. They also will recommend used parts when it makes sense, saving a lot of money.

This is what a business should be. The staff is very knowledgeable and they are the best place to go for VW and Audi parts, I would say, on the East Cost. Honest mechanics are hard to find and look no further than L&T Auto. I found them years ago after getting ripped off by another mechanic. I met Lenny and he fixed the mess the other mechanic made after switching my timing belt. I thought my 2004 TDI Jetta was done for at 200,000 miles after a run in with a bad mechanic but here I am years later and I kid you not my same Jetta has over 473,000 and still running strong because of L&T Auto. If you want to get a gourmet meal don't go to McDonald's, if you want to get your car fixed don't go to any of those chain car places that are the fast food of car repair, go to L&T Auto.

Extremely rude,poor customer service!Called to ask if I needed an appointment for an estimate, was told to drop my car off the following monday night,and they would look at it on tuesday and give me a call. Called back on Wednesday,because no one ever called me on tuesday,was told the estimate wasn't ready yet,to call back friday. Called friday,and Lenny said there was still no estimate,then when I asked when he would have the estimate for me,he said that If I was gonna scream at him,I could just go and pick up my car. At no given moment did I even raise my voice,so I told him I wasn't screaming at him,I was asking him a question. He said he had no idea when he would have the estimate,that I was better off picking up my car. Never heard of a car business where you drop your vehicle off for an estimate with no expectation of a date to receive the estimate. If he was too busy,he should've told me before I brought my car in,and wasted a whole week when I could have taken it to a serious business where they value their costumers independently of being busy or not. My neighbor had advised me to take it to DAKU'S,now I regret I didn't listen to her,I feel like I was treated as if they were doing charity,as if I was asking for something for free... worst feeling ever! But L&T can be certain I will never do business with them again,and whenever I have the chance,I will share the very unpleasant experience I had with them!

I don't know about the parts they offer,but the service is just bad and they're changing a lot more than better repair shops.I took my car to them because one coolant hose broke and all the coolant leaked.They said that they can fix it for 700$ because they have to take the whole engine out to replace that hose,but that I also have an oil leak and that's going to be another 700$ to fix that. (I did not notice any oil leak)After they convinced me that my car is not safe to drive and would not pass inspection without fixing the oil leak,I gave the ok for them to fix it!My car had also some flickering lights and engine RPM and they said they're fixing that too for the same price.After I got my car back (3 days later) the coolant leak was fixed but that's when the bad things started...Now the car was leaking oil like crazy,the electrical issue was still there and the check break pads light was on.I went back to them and they said that a broken seal might have been installed by them,but later denied it and blamed it on whoever worked on the car prior to them.I left it for another 3 days,when I got it back,the break ligh was fixed but oil kept leaking.They said that maybe there was some oil collected in the engine and to drive it around for a couple of days and see if it goes away,and that they also changed my headlights to see if my electrical issue goes away.(It didn't!)After a few days the oil leak was still there!!! I Took it to them for a third time, and after 4 days of hearing nothing from them,I went down there and nobody knew what was going on with my car and had me wait till they find out.I waited 30 mins,and a so called mechanic came out the back explaining that they're still working on it and that the whole night before,Leny was trying to figure out the electrical issue I was having,but that the oil leak is definitely fixed.In all this time I did some research on the internet and suggested to them that the electrical issue might come from a bad alternator ... The mechanic looked at the guy in the front and said "you know what? That might be it! The symptoms fit!"They said they're going to replace it and that I should go home and wait till they're done.After 3 hours of not hearing anything from them and with the closing hour approaching,I decided to give them a call.The guy said that all should be fixed and I should take it again for a couple of days and see if it works right,and because its so late,he's going to put the keys in the sun screen in the car.He also said if it works ok,I should go back in a week to take care of the difference in the price (first time I paid 1600$) because they installed new headlights and all that. (About 600$)When I got there,surprise!!! The car was locked with my keys in it!!!! I was just lucky that a towing truck came and the guy driving it helped me get it open after checking my documents...The next morning guess what??? Oil was leaking from another part of the engine!!!!That was it! They charged me a lot the first time,wanted me to pay for new headlights that had nothing to do with my problem (bad alternator) and did not fix the oil leak they created, after 2 more visits??? After all my 2001 Passat is not worth the price they were asking !!!I never went back there and got my oil leak fixed at Pep boys for 350$ (new Valve cover gasket)Don't ever go there!

Giving one star because i cant give 0. My vehicle has been sitting out front for weeks and in a few day itll be a month. They have yet to look at my vehicle and quote me on what it would cost to fix it. I would remove my vehicle but my transmission does not work and i already paid alot to tow it there. Dont give them your business. Take your VW or Audi some place else.Update: my vehicle was delivered to the shop 7/11/17 its now 8/17/17 and my car still hasn't been worked on.Got my vehicle back and im absolutely beyond happy and pleased. I get shops that specialize in certain vehicles become beyond busy but i couldnt be more happy with my vehicle. Everything works and runs properly. I definitely will be back.

I was calling about a part to fix my head light and they couldn't even call me back telling me if they had the 2 different models of the part. Even though I called 3 time, my mom called, my dad even drove down. If you need a part quick dont count on them.

I see other people having same issues whit this shop. I am a dealer i buy and sell cars. I tried this place 2 months ago and that was my worst experience with a mechanic. One of my cars oil light turn on and i stopped the car immediately and tow it to this place.They told me they will give me a call after couple days. i called them every other day to get some info but mostly they didn't answer or they said they will call me back afternoon WHICH THEY NEVER DID! . NO JOKE AFTER 50 SOME DAYS I went to store again and ask about my car. Finally They said i need a new engine which they have used in stock for $3.5k and i ask them can you fix it they said it will cost 4.5k to fix but they are not sure maybe more LABOR NOT INCLUDED. OMFG! I talk to the owner of this place and he said he will call me from his cell phone since guy at office was an idiot and had some problem in his had.After his bad attitude and showing off his middle finger i decide to get an lawyer and i am going to sue this place and get some reports from VW Dealer . They will proof what exactly did this stupid people to my car. it was 06 GTI .DONT GO THERE if you have no time for bull . I am so angry sorry for bad words.

The best garage I have ever had. They are VW and Audi only. So I bought another VW because a great mechanic is harder to find than a great car.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE CLOWNS!!!!! YOU WILL BE THROWING IT AWAY AND RISKING YOUR SAFETY ON THE RECKLESSLY POOR WORK DONE BY THESE SO CALLED MECHANICS. They had my car for 2 weeks doing work that could ve been done in less than 1 week. They returned my car to me with a brand new stripped wheel bearing nut which had the whole wheel about to fall right off of the car, COULD EASILY HAVE KILLED ME AND MY CHILDREN, a brand new bad tie rod end, brand new squealing breaks, and brand new vacuum hose that leaks. (I could list more issues but will spare you all the details) Then go ahead and add TOP DOLLAR for pitiful work, lack of accountability, ZERO quality control, up-selling you things you don t need, and terrible customer service, it makes it the perfect experience from HELL. Jim will LIE to you and ignore your requests. Lenny (the owner) won t even take the time to talk to you if there is a serious and persistent problem, and Warren (the owners son) will ignore your request for him to see to it that the work gets done properly. LONG STORY SHORT, L&T STOLE $2500 FROM ME AND PUT ME IN A CAR THAT WAS NOT FIT TO BE DRIVEN. They should be investigated for fraudulent practices as far as I m concerned.

Warren was very nice and respectful and so was his dad Lenny ... Warren answered any question I had but then the car sat there for like two or more weeks til it go looked at and my warranty ran out so now to find a different place
