I can t say enough about these guys! I bought a used car in a private sale that has needed a LOT of (expected and even more unexpected) work, and they were recommended to me by a friend. Astoria has gone above and beyond at every step of the way. They ve walked me through the whole process, from troubleshooting to repairs, and I never feel like I am being talked down to or upsold anything. Their work is top notch and both pricing and communication is honest and transparent. I highly recommend Astoria Auto Repair.

Have been dealing with them for over 10 year's, great place , friendly and honest which is very rare today, my wife and daughter go there by themselves and I never worry about them being ripped off. I ll never use another mechanic unless they retire.

Worse place to take your car. They all seem clueless. After a week or 2 I have to take my car back because they don't know how to fix anything.

If you have a friend you want to take revenge suggest them to visit here. The rest of the work will be taken care of by these guys.I changed my rotor and pads there and here is the list of items they broke in my car.#stud bolt#lug nut#tie rodAnd the most awesome part is they somehow managed to change the rotor incorrectly and I end up wearing up my rotor and pads after just 2 months. Now I am writing this comment after spending ~500$ to change the rotor and pads again.

The fixed my over heating issue but their time frame was off and they called back when they said they would. Also when I picked up truck the hood latch wasn't working when I know it was fine before I brought it in.

Well I bought a car from here or rather the guys father from here and he said everything worked just fine. A/C went the very next day after buying it. Guy said it was working just fine. So he took it and charged it. No leak or anything and the A/C still did not work. Guy insisted it was the condenser and he wanted me to pay for it and the work. After a long argument he gave me the condenser. I had a different shop put it in today and behold the A/C still does not work. I was sold a car with a burnt up compressor so now I have to pay extra money yet again to the thing. My baby can't ride in the car at all when it rains or when it is too hot. I was lied to when they sold me the car and that makes me mad. Thing was when the mechanic out where I live repaired it there were wires that were butted together like it was once snipped so this problem was definitely known about before the car was sold to me. Bunch of jerks.
