wouldnt recomend there mechnaics are crooks, sold me a car and promised me everything was good with the car and only got to drive it for 2 days before i had to bring it back, i brought it back and than they took 1 month to "fix" the issue, once i got it back the issue was still there. currently trying to get my money back for the vehicle and they are giving me a hard time. wasted my time and money {STAY AWAY, SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE}*Mechanics name was angel

I dropped off my alternator at the end of the day on Saturday and they had it rebuilt by 10am Monday morning for 1/3 the price of a new one. They shot blasted it clean and replaced all the components. Knowledgeable nice people. Highly recommend!After reading some of these other negative reviews, I think they have the wrong place. I didn't see a door that you could pull a car into the place let alone space to work on one. It's a starter/alternator rebuild shop. I don't think they do care repair.Service: Electrical repair

Over the last few months I have purchased an alternator and starter for my son's 2000 Jeep Cherokee. The owner Walter is polite, knows what he is talking about and charges fair prices. Great fast service for fair price. Family run with excellent staff who are easy to talk to. Got an alternator here, went for some breakfast, and they were done in a little over an hour and had me back on the road no issues. Will be coming back for future maintenance since I can trust them. Excellent shop, clean and fast install, great price.

Outstanding work & custmer service. Very reasonably priced. Treated very respectful and professional. Completed work in good time and resolved my electrical issues. Will continue to use them for all my car needs.Highly recommendUnfortunately I have to reverse my review for Allentown Auto Electric. Had to call them back within 2 days of work being done due to same issues. They told me bring the car back which I did. Had the car all day, told me they needed to order a part & would call when it came in. I have called several times & left messages but never a return call. So I guess I paid $130.00 for a fuse they put in. WOW. After all this time I get it they can t return calls, stand by there work or know what there doing. Time to look for a place that can fix it right.

These guys are amateurs at most! I'm convinced most of these high reviews are false. Labor is way too expensive and work is shoddy. They'll leave oil fingerprints wherever they touch your car and won't clean it. Best believe your car isn't totally fixed. Stay away. I go in for brakes on a well maintained car and MY wheel came off driving. You've been warned!

Hello to all Watchers & Readers. If you see good reviews.. its only because old Management was good to their customers.These reviews are not based on New Management!!! New Management is one of the old Mechanics who worked there before taking over this side. This individual Running this Mechanic Shop is standoffish and Unprofessional.You would think treating returning customers would be preferred in order to keep your business in good standing!! But this New Management of the Mechanic Shop has changed since this Mechanic took over.Very disappointing considering old Management was nothing like this. They have lost a customer in me. I will never return. One less Customer for Auto Electric.

I was expecting to have to pay over $1000 to get my 2001 Chevy Tracker fixed. It was stalling when it got warm and I'd have to sit for at least 15 minutes to even try to start it up again. AI'd taken it to Meineke and they found nothing. Fast forward a few months and it had to be fixed. A very colorful mailer came for these guys. Dropped it off this morning, had it back the same day!$430 for a cam shaft sensor, drive belt, oil change, door lock fixed, and valve cover gasket replaced. Did I mention that they gave me a ride home and picked me up????Oh and they do body work and rebuild alternators.Yeah.... I have a new mechanic!!!!!Thank you so much for everything!!!!!!!

If you are looking for an honest, professional mechanic look no further. I have had my share of bad mechanics until found Allentown Auto Electric. They took care of my cars, they are thorough, efficient, honest and reliable. I am very very happy now I have a mechanic I can trust to take care of my cars. I referred all my relatives and you too. Check them out you would not regret it.

I was far from home when I was having trouble with my 85 Cadillac Eldorado. Seemed like a nightmare until I decided to get towed to Allentown Auto Electric. There was a point I thought my car was done for, but they worked on my starter, fixed up a lot of my wiring, and gave me an oil change. Got my car back up and running again for a VERY good price. They really took care of me and I am incredibly grateful. I 100% recommend coming here for car issues, they are good people. You don t always get honest mechanics, so take the opportunity to go to one and come here.

This new shop is terrific. They rebuilt my Bosch alternator in 30 minutes and the price was below anywhere in the area. Free pick up too. Highly recommended !

If I could add more than 5 stars, I would. The staff here is friendly and very helpful. I purchased a remanufactured alternator here (at literally half the cost of chain stores like AutoZone, Advance Auto, etc...). The remanufactured alternator appeared to have been rebuilt refurbished with high quality. I brought the remanufactured alternator home and installed it myself. However, I found there to still be an issue with my car's battery not charging correctly.I went back to Allentown Auto Electric and explained the problem. It was first thought there was an issue other than the alternator. With no appointment, they dropped what they were doing to help my situation. They tested my old one and found it to be bad. They tested the cars wiring, relays, and fuses, and found no issues there.Turns out the remanufactured alternator was not functioning correctly due to an unknown issue. They removed the defective alternator and installed for me on-the-spot, a BRAND NEW, not remanufactured alternator, for no extra cost, and my problem was fixed.Will absolutely be returning for future service and recommend anyone having any electronic issues or mechanical issues with their vehicles to consider Allentown Auto Electric first.

AA Electric rebuilds alternators just like local auto electric shops did many years ago. But most of those shops are gone, so over the last 20 years, I ve bought rebuilt alternators from major auto parts stores and more recently online. Of the last 3 bought online, 2 of them failed after a year or two. I don t know who actually rebuilt them, how skilled they were, or what quality parts they used. So when the rebuilt alternator in my wife s 89 Acura Legend failed, I searched the web and found a replacement at Allentown Auto Electric. THEY REBUILT IT IN THEIR OWN SHOP. The price beat the competition, the staff was experienced, and the service reminded me of the old Honda motto, our customers, our friends. The Best Buy here pay here dealer I've ever experienced i bought an 04 Audi A4 and it had an issue when I purchased it and they immediately took action and fix it I highly recommend this dealer

Took 12 hours to change water pump and timing belt only cause instead of calling me when they accidentally pushed my kill switch they decided to figure it out on the their own

needed to get welding done and everywhere I went I was being charged $300-$400. I came here and was charged $160 and the work was excellent.
