Dealt with this business for 14 years without problems, but will never deal with them again. Make sure if doing business with them that you get ALL costs IN WRITING and UP FRONT so that you have something to fall back on, including any additional parts they recommend. Otherwise, you will be charged for parts/service you did not agree to.

Great place to do business all around. Sales guys know their stuff , parts counter staff is friendly and I cannot say enough about the service department they are always so helpful. Truly a top notch dealership, best in the area.

We are in the market for a rider mower, so we visited West Central Equipment on a Saturday morning and Joel Slezak was very helpful. He was knowledgeable, very professional and provided us with information we needed to make a decision. Highly recommend this place.

I bought a 2014 Kioti CS2410 from the store in New Alexandria. The tractor had 441 hours on it, I ve put another 6 hours on it. I noticed hydraulic fluid laying on the mowing deck when I finished mowing, once I inspected it closer, I noticed it was pouring out around the power steering unit. I took the power steering unit off, and it was filled with silicone that someone squirted in to try to stop the leak. Once I got the silicone removed, I found out that the seal was ripped. You can t buy this deal anywhere, and have to buy a new power steering unit that costs $1750. I contacted the dealership to see what could be done, because it was obviously like that when they sold it, and the inspection they did couldn t have been very thorough. I was told that they had to replace a couple lights, and other things so the inspection was done. So now I m stuck with a tractor that is inoperable until I purchase an almost $2000 part that was broken when I purchased the tractor. Wouldn t recommend buying from here, if you do make sure you look over everything with a fine tooth comb.

The salesman was very friendly and informative. There was no pressure to make a purchase and when I decided to buy the process was extremely streamlined. The equipment was delivered on time and the delivery person was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and all those involved.

Bottom line up front, every aspect of my interface with this particular company has been as hassle free and professional as possible. When I was first looking for a lawn tractor, BJ and the staff could not have been more helpful in providing information w/o a high pressure sales attempt.When I made a decision, BJ was helpful in making me aware of what was in stock at his particular location, what was available from their other stores, and a realistic expectation on how soon I could have the lawn tractor delivered (a timeline that this business actually beat by several days).After ordering the lawn tractor, I looked at other possible options for a utility cart to use with it, but came back to a John Deere option for that as well. When I spoke with BJ on the phone, he let me know that they did not have that particular cart in stock, but that he would reserve the next one that came in for me. I forget how many days passed, but it was very soon that I was thinking that I probably should take the time to go into the store to place a firm order. However before doing such, I received a call from BJ to let me know the cart came in, he had it assembled, and I he just needed to know if I wanted to pick it up in person or to have it delivered.Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. Every person I encountered at the New Alexandria West Central Equipment company has been professional, knowledgable, and easy to work with. Just an outstanding business.

If you have to order parts here, be sure the person who calls to tell you they are in has them in hand. I made a ninety mile round trip to pick up an order that took over three months to complete (not their fault, parts were temporarily unavailable from Deere). I was notified that the parts were all in. The computer says all the parts were in, but two employees spent twenty minutes and could only locate one of three. Two hours of life and ten dollars in fuel for an unnecessary trip to New Alec and I still can't fix a tractor that's been down since August.Update: Adding a couple stars to my review. A week or so after not being able to pick up my order, I received a call from Bobby in parts. He was able to locate all the parts I needed and would have them shipped directly to me so I wouldn't have to make the trip again. I appreciate the follow up and have received the parts as promised. Thank you for the follow up.

I have a John Deere 6420 Premium Cab 640 self leveling loader that threw a LOT of codes. Doug and the rest of the service department worked through them very methodically. They diagnose the problem and took care of it. I m thrilled with the quality of work they did and they will be my go to dealership. I highly recommend West Central Equipment!

It was a great experience.I m very happy with the purchase I madeI made the call to inquire about a tractor n Frank explained everything I need to know. I explained what I was looking for n he made some suggestions. He was not a pushy sales person. He was honest and took his time to answer my questionsI bought the tractor over the phoneWhen it was delivered Sam was great also. A young man but he took his tome and again explained all the do s and don t s. Great young man. I could tell he knew what he was doing and that he truly enjoyed his job

By far the absolutely best tractor dealer I've been to. I have shopped around for six month's for a tractor and have been to many dealers and this place blows them all away. My salesman David Osiol was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the products he sales. He took the time to show me every single function on the tractor not only showed me but made sure I completely understood everything. He even stayed after after work to make sure the financing was taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the market for a new or even used tractor. They definitely earned my respect and also my business from now on.

had small issue with my 2021 X350 lawn tractor after first use. called salesman next day, came and picked up tractor at 8:30 am and was at my home when i arrived from work same day. NO questions asked. Tractor is running great. Could't be more pleased with the customer service i received!

Money matters not the customer. Do not under any circumstances give these people your money. I bought a new 2025R and after a week I realized I should have been put in a 2032 or 2038. My sales guy talked me into keeping it longer. After 6 weeks and 9 hours I started the conversation about trading it in. Understanding I would have to lose something. I take a day off work and make an appointment with the sales person to work this out. I get there and the sales guy is not there. They call him and he says oh I forgot. They hand me to this other sales guy who acts like this is a bother to him when he was just drinking coffee doing nothing at his desk. I look over a new machine and get an awesome product demo from their mechanic, and if I had got this product demo the first time I never would have bought the 2025R.Then the sales guy comes back and gives me the numbers after 6 weeks and 9 hours to trade mine in I am expected to take a 35% loss on it. When questioning the sales person he told me eight times in conversation but sir we have to make money when we resell your 2025. I never asked them to lose money just asked them to be more reasonable.I then left and emailed the owner as I was upset and not getting anywhere. He did not respond instead forwards it to his son who sends me an email and says the deal is what it is. They were in no way shape or form willing to work with me.I stopped at a Kubota dealer just to see their trade number on my machine. Explained my situation. In like 5 minutes the store owner comes out talks to me, asks me about my property and my needs then gave me a full demo of 3 machines. Then gives me a trade number $3,000 higher than west central where I bought my deere. Imagine that this place who never sold me a thing is more willing to help me than the place I bought it.Bottom line at west central equipment as soon as you sign the paperwork they do not care about you. They only care about money.

The sales people know there stuff and the service department is very helpful, West Central Equipment is the ONLY place I will go for all my outdoor equipment needs. Still Family owned and operated too. just an overall great business place. thank you!!

After months of research, I decided on a John Deere S240 or a Husqvarna TS242XD. I jumped on the chance to get the JD after being contacted by West Central Equipment when an S240 became available.It was delivered by a highly knowledgeable guy that same day. The tractor was clean, gassed-up, all fluids were okay, and the deck was level.Having mowed with it only 5 or 6 times, so far it's been great! I'm really glad I got the Kawasaki motor on a unit backed by John Deere's quality & reliability reputation.

Received my 2019 John Deere 370 tractor back with scratches all over the hood and deck. I discussed the matter with the owner and he hung up on us. I will be Pershing this matter further. Very poor service. We will never purchase anything else from West Central. I hope I run into the owner one day. He thinks he is a tough guy LOL

Hello folks, I bleed green and yellow! ! These folks at West Central are super nice and have tons of equipment for your everyday work around the house or farm. I recently purchased an x738 in 2016 and could not be happier! ! Great sales department, great parts department, big inventory! ! The Butler store and the New Alexandria store are the closest to me. Mid-afternoon 4 days before Easter, I had issues with mower deck on my John Deere 300 and was dreading a service call that would prevent the lawn being mowed before the weekend. I called West Central and spoke with Service Director Grant who walked me through the problem over the phone. Grant even stayed on the phone until I went back into the garage to make sure the mower deck worked. No service call required and the grass is looking good for company on Easter. Thanks Grant!

So I stopped in here making commercial delivery in a tractor trailer. I had several pieces of equipment as well as crates. When you pull in the front entrance he turn your tractor trailer to the left and stop and then back around the right side of the building to their outdoor loading dock. They do have a large forklift or they can get in your trailer and unload you. They're very professional, quick, and we'll get you in and out of there in a breeze! These guys know what they're doing!

John Deere parts and service for lawn and farm equipment. Almost always gets my parts in 2-3 days. Usually a little cheaper than what I find online. Not that there are any cheap JD parts. Sells and services other brands too.
