I was looking for a pre owned Subaru Legacy and stopped by to see one that was on car guru because this location was on the way to another posting. Here I found a lot full of Subarus, something hard to find outside of a conventional dealership. Vahid came outside to help me, after speaking to him briefly I knew that he was the person I wanted to deal with. His expertise in Subaru vehicles is second to none. You could tell immediately that he was a trustworthy person who stands behind his product and work. He showed me the car and told me about it, he said he wanted to assure that it was perfect before I test drove it so he asked me to return in a few days. Upon my return, I found a showroom clean and detailed car with new tires, a full checkup, new belts and oil change. He even detailed under the hood. Also, his wife handles the business part of the deal, she had everything in order, took me to get tags, etc. I would recommend them to anyone, and plan to do business with them again.

We purchased a 2010 Subaru Outback with around 150,000 miles from Vahid just before Christmas 2019, about 9 months ago. Vahid was very friendly and easy to deal with, and the car seemed to be in great shape. Vahid had put in new brakes and tires, and he offered a 6-month warranty on the engine. We had a problem with the car overheating shortly after we bought it. Vahid apologized profusely and theorized that it was the head gasket, and replaced it--an expensive job--at no cost to us. The car has run beautifully ever since. I would absolutely buy another used Subaru from Vahid.

We purchased a used Subaru from Performance maybe a month or so ago and it s been great but recently I heard a grinding noise. I took it in and they confirmed I needed a hub bearing. They were very accommodating as far as helping me out, gave me a good price on the repair and had it done that afternoon. Vahid is a good guy and if you re looking for a used Subaru or Subaru service definitely stop in Roslyn at Performance auto sales. #10stars

We got a great deal on a great car! Very grateful to Vahid! He is a mechanic who loves Subarus and takes pride in his work - not a fast talking salesman. I can't say enough good things about Performance Auto Sales. Vahid was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. He ensured that the car was 100% before letting us drive it home. He is completely upfront and honest; which is hard to find when shopping for a car. They seriously go above and beyond for their customers and you can't find a better deal in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you buy you next pre-owned vehicle from Performance. I don't think I would consider going anywhere else now.

Vahid is top notch. Super nice and high integrity guy. Also a very experienced mechanic. He makes sure his cars are right, and he stands behind them long after the sale. The manual Outback I bought here has been rock solid, great value. If you love Subarus, this is the place to go. All kinds of Subarus on his lot. Vahid is just a pleasure to do business with.

A fair and honest family run business. They know what they're doing and make the car buying process simple with great cars and unbeatable warranties. The amount of work they put into their cars before they hit the lot is unparalleled. I recently purchased a 2006 with 140k+ miles and it runs like new and I love every second of it. If you need a reliable used car that a dealership will stand behind in the off chance something goes wrong, look no further, Vahid is your guy.

Vahid is an excellent mechanic. He is friendly and explains everything very clearly. Vahid has maintained my Subaru since i moved to the area two years ago. Vahid has done extensive work to my Subaru including a clutch, steering rack replacement, top end motor rebuild, wheel bearings, suspension work and other repairs. After replacing my steering rack, he called me and told me the issue was working good and the new rack was working great but that he thinks it "could be better". After giving him the approval to continue, Vahid went back and found a steering joint that had rusted and was additionally causing the steering to not turn smoothly. When i pick up the car, he saves the bad parts to show me what failed. i am mechanically minded and appreciate this level of detail. To be clear my point here is that he went the extra mile to fix the whole issue and that he called me to say that "good" could be "better". This is why I trust him. He goes the extra mile instead of just getting the car out the door. I need this level/quality of service in my life. Thank you Vahid!

This was an excellent experience working with Vahid. Great Subaru selection and work to get car ready for purchase. I ve purchased many cars, both new and used, and this by far was the best car buying experience. Vahid is the Subaru Guru. Highly recommend if you re in the market for a used car.

Looking for a reliable lower cost car for my kids. I was nervous about buying a higher milage car but after hearing that Vahid only deals with Subarus and how he prepares each car before sale reassured me that I would be getting a reliable car with 89,000 miles.Very accomodating and helpful in getting the car registered too5 mos later, no problems and running greatThank you

My husband and I needed to purchase a second family car. We were only interested in purchasing a Subaru Outback or a Forester. We visited numerous big name dealerships in a +40 mile radius with no success. We were discouraged and distrustful by the tactics used by the dealerships. We continued our internet search and luckily found Performance Auto Sales. We reviewed their ratings on CarGurus and Google and were impressed. We called and spoke with the owner, Vahid, who told us the vehicles that were available for purchase. When we met with Vahid, he suggested the car we should purchase based upon our needs. We test drove the vehicle Vahid suggested and loved it. We made a deposit and came back a week later to have a pre-purchase inspection done by a third-party mechanic who verified that the car was in excellent shape. We completed the purchase of an Outback. Vahid is honest, straight forward, and knows Subarus. Vahid answered our questions and did not rush us. If you are looking for a Subaru, there is no need to look any further than Vahid. He is the Subaru Guru. We highly recommend this dealership and will purchase future vehicles from them.

If you are looking for a used Subaru this is the place to go. Not only is there a great selection of models on the lot. All have the complete carfax history online and each car is hand selected by the owner and expert mechanic, Vahid. At no extra cost he included the inspection, emissions, and did complete preventative maintenance work on the engine and elsewhere with new parts and fluids. Even though the mileage was well under 100k. I left the lot with a reliable car backed with a 6 month engine and transmission warranty. You aren't going to find such value in a used car elsewhere. This is the only place where I'll take my Subaru for maintenance in the future and recommend anyone to check out his inventory and more than reasonable maintenance rates.

My wife and I bought a 2007 Subaru Outback from Performance Auto Sales. I have only bought vehicles privately, except on 2 occasions when I was good friends with the car salesman. To say that I was apprehensive about buying a vehicle from a used car dealership especially one I didn't know was an understatement.But we asked Vahid a ton of questions and harrassed him about the vehicle. We even had to go away for 2 weeks in the midst of working out the deal for the car. Vahid answered every question and "fixed" everything he promised right down to a plastic clip on the back seat.We have had the car for 7 weeks and have put 6,000 miles on it. It runs great for its age. We are extremely pleased with the experience we had with Performance. We are moving to SC but if i look for another used car i will strongly lean to coming back and dealing with Vahid.

I waited a month to post my review to give an honest opinion of my new to me car. Vahid was a professional from start to finish, allowing me time to look at the entire lot before allowing me to select a car to test drive. He allowed me time to drive several streets and allowed me to have someone else look the car over for me. Included in the price was several matinance items that went above and beyond what any seller would normally do. Vahid also stayed in conversation with me during the entire selling process and even went with me to change the title over. I would highly recommend Vahid to anyone and have already done so.

I was looking for a car for my college-senior daughter. After test driving a bunch of truly awful cars, I spotted a 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport on the Carfax website with 136,000 miles. The pictures looked good. I opened the Carfax report and discovered it was a single-owner dealer-serviced car. I called around 2:30 on a rainy Friday afternoon and said, "I'm driving down from Brooklyn, NY right now to see this car!" Vahid said he'd be there. I had a feeling this was the one. It was. And even though the timing belt had been done only 14,000 miles ago, Vahid did it again, along with the head gaskets. He ordered rubber floor mats, a new cargo cover, and a raised armrest for me (and installed it). The following weekend, his wife took me to get my temporary tag. After we completed we completed the transaction and I drove away, the check engine light went on and the car began to run roughly. Then it went off and the car was fine. After about the 5th time I pulled over and called and he said to come back, that he knew what the problem was. He had a new ignition coil and new ignition wires waiting for me. He ran an electronic diagnostic and said the engine was only hitting on 3 cylinders. His mechanic did the quick repair and I was on my way. No problem driving back to NY. No problem on the 600 mile drive to North Carolina. The only thing I had to do from my mechanic was get 2 new tires, and have the A/C charged. My daughter loves the car. She's had to replace a radiator hose and have the rear differential oil changed. I would absolutely buy another car from Vahid and said all my friends there. As someone else so elegantly put it, he is The Subaru Guru!

Awesome, professional and courteous service. Vahid provided quick, thorough and reasonably priced servicing. He is a very knowledgeable and honest working man.I originally visited Tires, Etc. in Montgomeryville and it cost me an insane $150 to have my emissions test done and wipers and air filters replaced; so I did not return to have my state inspection done. My uncle referred me to Performance Auto, where I had my inspection done and subsequently front brake pads and struts replaced - all for a reasonable total of $740.I will be returning for any future needed service and referring as many people to this place of business as possible :)

Extremely nice guy and is very negotiable. He works on the cars himself so he is knowledgeable and makes sure they're top of the line to sell. I got an amazing deal on a great car and couldn't be happier. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone, it was a pleasure to buy from them!

Haven t even had the car for 4 months water pump goes I called him he said oh no impossible the water pumps in those cars are strong he put a sealant for the gaskets in engine not even 10,000 miles on the car and it s no drivable... if I could leave just a review and not leave a star I d do that but in order for this to go through I have to put a star.. this guy is a liar don t buy off this guy he s a fraud don t trust this guy
