Jim at Abington tops is a great shop with great quality. He gave me a no haggle price. Did a quality job and was on time. He and his team are knowledgeable about soft tops, and other annoying repair issues with older classic cars. If the need arises to get my upholstery or top redone, I wouldn't hesitate to use Jim. And he picked me up at the Septa station in Rosslyn, so he saved me an Uber ride!

Jim is a THE ABSOLUTE MAN! He went above and beyond into taking care of me. I had a collapsing soft top that has been getting worse as each day passes. He prioritized my work and finished it in less than 2 days! He s incredible! Plus, he managed to help fix the tear in my door panel and fix my window switch. Apart from his professionalism and work ethnic, he truly is a master of soft tops, plus has a heart of gold. I just know in the future, I ll be contacting him again!

Excellent service! Great communication and great work . My car was getting repaired in a different place for water leaks and I needed the headliner repaired. Spoke with Jim who was super helpful, accepted the job on the same day, had someone else drop off the headline for him right before closing and the next morning they called me to pick it up. Just exceptional service and extremely fair prices. I didn t even meet this guys , but they made everything super easy and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jim and Chandler were fantastic to work with. My wife and I needed a seat replaced in an Acura and they couldn t have been any nicer in walking us through the process. Their attention to detail, workmanship, customer service and fair pricing should be a model for all businesses. Great guys and very happy we found them. I had a vinyl top installed on my vehicle and it looked just as good the day my vehicle was initially purchased! I am very satisfied with the quality of work and craftsmanship that was done to my vehicle! Just had a new top but on my 2014 Mustang. They did an amazing job. They quoted us a price over a year ago and when we where able to finally bring the car in a year later they stood by the quoted price. We highly recommend Abington Auto Tops to anyone and will be recommending them to our friends.

I wish I could choose 6 stars! I could not be happier with the service and the craftsmanship provided by Abington Auto Tops. I brought in my LR4 for severe leather wear on the driver door panel (and a horrible DIY repair). Chandler matched the color and texture PERFECTLY and after the repair it looks like it it fresh off the assembly line! The cost of the repair was more than reasonable, as was the time it took. What a find!!After a rather frustrating experience and actually being treated in an aggressive and rude manner at another shop in Willow Grove, I fortunately found Abington Auto Tops. I had been having ongoing issues with my convertible top on my 2005 BMW 325ci since having work done at the other shop in Willow Grove.Jim and Frank are 2 genuinely nice guys that are a pleasure to deal with. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, honest and very professional. They are great diagnosticians and explain the repair process step by step. Great job - they fixed my 2006 VW sunroof leak and replaced the dirty old sagging headliner fabric. My car floors are bone dry - ahhhhh - and the interior looks luxuriously beautiful. What a pleasure to do business here. Finally found someone who really understands sunrooves, leaks, car interiors. (After many frustrating prior experiences.) Reasonable prices! Fast turnaround! Highly recommend this business! Jim and Joe were so friendly and knowledgeable, their customer service was exceptional! I took my mom here to get her convertible top fixed and it turned out to be a minor issue that they were able to fix in less than 5 min and didn t even charge her! She was so happy and grateful! If need be, we will definitely use their services again in the future!

The interior lining of my GTI was starting to detach from the roof, so my personal mechanic recommended them for repair. The entire crew there is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They explained the process for repair, offered a very fair price, and completed the repairs even sooner than originally expected. Extremely high quality work - I cannot recommend them enough!

I never write reviews because I can't be bothered to do so, and people often throw around 5-stars for As Expected service. But this place was amazing and legit went above and beyond. When I walked in they had two classic Corvettes there, but they didn't treat my Normal Person Vehicle any less than! My sunroof drains got clogged and as a result, I had a pool party in the front floors of my car. Ray handled the insurance company, helped with the car rental logistics, was ultra friendly, and managed to tear up my whole inside and replace the one piece carpet that ran run full length of the front and back seats all in one and a half days. Even offered me pizza on the way out! I only wish they did body work because now that my inside is clean and doesn't smell like mold, I would love for my hood to have a nice shiny touch up too.In all seriousness - I'd recommend this place to anyone. I can't believe how fast it was and the extra customer service really sets this place apart.

Had our carpet replaced in our 1984 Camaro. They did a thorough job and even got my clock working again! Took time to really talk to my husband and work together. A little pricey but they do great work!

From start to finish Ray was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the process, how long the repairs would take and what we could expect. Needless to say, AAT knocked it out of the park. The seat and headrest look brand new and are perfectly matched to the interior of the vehicle. Jim's stitching is top-notch. More than just high-quality auto work. These guys are the best in the Philadelphia area. Quick, fair, stick to their word and the best craftsmanship by far. Had my boat seats re-upholstered and they are literally brand new, can't wait to get out on the water! Definitely will be calling Ray and the team for more work in the very near future.

This is a gem for any vehicle upholstery needs. The owner Jim has been doing this for many years and takes so much pride in his work. Whether you need a convertible top, headliner, seat or carpet repair, this is your place. I recently sent a friend in for a sunroof leak and they were able to get the majority of the damage covered by insurance. I never would have thought about that.

Couldn't thank Jimmy, Jack and the rest of the guys there enough. Had my Kia Sportage seat repaired after damage that I thought would be impossible to fix. They were efficient, professional and timely... And gave me the best price I could ask for. Willing to work with you and in my opinion... The best in the business! Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for any repair. They can handle anything you throw their way! Cannot say enough good about them.

I was referred to AATops, in need of a interior headliner repair. (05 Honda) I went online, read the reviews & took immediate notice of their 5 star consistent ratings, so I called. I spoke with Ray, explained my service need, we set a time to review (met Frank that day as well) n later I received a estimate within my budget, this was Jan . What I found most professional was Ray called me as a follow up late Jan & early Feb to see if I ever completed the job or was still seeking service. I was still in need. We agreed on a date & appt n he honored the original quote from Jan. The job was completed within 6 hours, clean ( just like I dropprd it off) and very professsional work and customer service. The convertible top on my Nissan 370Z was not working so I took it to the dealership that I purchased the car from. After they looked at it, they informed me that the problem was not repairable and that the entire convertible top and hydraulic mechanism needed to be replaced. Their estimated cost for the material and labor was close to $ 30,000 which was more than what the car was worth at that point. After taking the vehicle to several shops in the area with none of them being able to correctly diagnose and repair the problem, I found Jim and Abington Auto Tops. Jim assured me that after his many years in the auto business, he would be able to repair the problem and sure enough, he did so! It took him a little longer than we both anticipated because he had to wait on an outside contractor to plug his equipment into the cars computer system but once diagnosed, the defective convertible top master control box was replaced and I now, finally, have my Z back and am ready to enjoy the warmer weather. Thanks a lot for your help, Jim! I would not hesitate to recommend you and your shop to anyone having convertible top problems.

I took my 2005 Chrysler Sebring to Abington Auto Tops for a new top. Why did I not do this years ago? Before I took it in I was thinking about getting rid of my car because it rattled so much I couldn't stand it any more. Now, it's like I have a brand new car and it's as quiet as my husbands Lincoln. Everyone here is super nice and helpful, and they do amazing work. I would go back to them in a heartbeat for ANY service they provide.

A GREAT business with GREAT customer service that is led by a GREAT owner. I am the GM of a popular restaurant & bar in the Northeast Phila area and badly needed our booth cushions re-upholstered as quickly as possible.Unfortunately it is a pandemic therefore, like most businesses in our industry; we are sadly struggling. Rather than taking advantage of us and upcharging us for every little thing simply because "it's a pandemic"; Ray & his team at Abington Auto Tops & Upholstery more than took care of us!! He not only completed the work at an incredible & unbeatable price, he also kept me updated EVERY step of the way and was even kind enough to meet me half way to help make things more convenient for me!I was and am VERY grateful for how quickly he acted on attempting to make things easier for me in any way possible.I HIGHLY recommend utilizing Ray and his team for ALL of your upholstery needs. They can take care of ANYTHING and the results are BEAUTIFUL!! Our cushions turned out GREAT and customers have made several comments about how much more comfortable it is sitting at the tables!! They look & feel like we purchased 12 brand new cushions when in reality I simply dropped them off to the team at Abington Auto Tops and they worked their magic! They did it all in a week as well! I called SEVERAL other places before thankfully finding AAT. First time I had a car worked on by Jim was about 16 years years ago when I moved from the City. He was with another company at the time. He was so easy to deal with, so I have been a loyal customer of his ever since. I have referred a lot people to him over the years. Won't find a better person to do business. Honest and friendly
