Had a great experience at Mt Hood Bicycle. Brought my Kona in to have him rebuild the rear shock, add in a dropper post, and change my drivetrain from a 2x10 to a 1x10. George went to work right away and did a good job calling me to keep me updated about where he was at with it. Once the work was done, I went over to Sandy Ridge for some test laps - I wanted a few things adjusted and George told me to bring it back over, he tweaked a few things and had me on my way once again. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable mechanic. Will be back for sure!

I never leave reviews as I feel like places often have bad days like we all do. But my experience was so bad I have to. George said he could install my new xt brakes and lengthen the hose on one. It took long but that was ok as he is a one man show. But when I picked up the bike he charged me twice for the bleed which I was gonna let go but I looked at my bike after paying and noticed he installed them incorrectly stripped the threads on the brakes and then installed it with a rubber shim which he states he had to as the stock bolt wasn t right. In the process he over compressed the mounts and cracked my new carbon bars. Tested the torque taking them off and it was 14 when it s supposed to be 4-6 nm. Then he used a Philips screw on a bike?! See picturesI asked for my money back as now I have to buy new brakes which is more than 300 dollars and out the 159 dollars for a single brake bleed that i should point out needs to be re-bled as it has an air bubble. He then started yelling at me when I asked for the parts he forgot give back after install.If you value your bike never go here. I wouldn t even trust a rental. It makes since why he can t keep other mechanics to stay there.Such a bummer of an experience!

I broke my rear derailleur while on a ride up on Mt. Hood. They replaced my derailleur on the spot and unbent my derailleur hanger. Excellent, helpful, and friendly. Thank you so much for saving the day!!!

George is friendly and good at his job. I took a road bike to him and had it back the next day with a full tune up. Bike looked and rode like it was brand new. He s got great bike accessories and his shop is super clean.

George is a good man, a great human being, and he knows his stuff. Incredibly trustworthy, reasonable, and a no pressure kind of guy. You need go no where else for bikes, service, repairs as well as great just conversations.

Awesome! Glad to see a full service bike shop in our locale. George inspired me to blow the dust off my bikes and get back out and ride. Long overdue. It's nice to know parts, tubes and a good bike mechanic are only a mere mile from home now. Thanks George and Kevin.

Swung through after my tubeless tire setup came off the bead. The lady who was working as super helpful and willing to put air into the tire. She was able to get me rolling again. Thanks for help and if I ever need anything and am in the area I'll definitely stop back.

I had a very positive experience - highly recommend this shop. I needed some ergo adjustments on my e-bike that required some mechanical aptitude that was beyond my DIY skill set. George was extremely knowledgeable and super easy to work with. He dialed me in and I'm a much more comfortable rider now.

Saved our trip. Thank you so much. I packed the bike, the bags, the food, the cloths, verified the Airbnb ... did not pack the tool bag or do a complete bike check...No problem. I walked in first thing in the morning and George got us up and ridin in no time... had a great trip to Mt. Hood.I can't wait to come back.

Great guy but I could ve lost my life due to he didn t tighten the calipers after replacing my brakes. Went for a 1 mile ride and almost lost my calipers.

I'm here on vacation. My flight case for my bike messed up my derailleur to the point it wasn't usable. The owner got me in an hour before he closed and now my bike shifts perfectly. He knows what he's doing with high end mountain bikes.

Mt. Hood bicycles service is impeccable to say the least. George and his mechanic are both very friendly. Mt. Hood bicycle has a instantaneous turn around time moreover inexpensive pricing. I had a problem with my bottom bracket/cranks that I took to three other bike shops that couldn't manage to fix it however Mt. Hood bicycle had me up and rolling extrodanarily fast.

Its going to be a little bit expensive but it really is top tier. The owner is really friendly and works his butt off. The bikes are top notch and well worth the price asked. I'd reccomend calling before because they are constantly renting out.

Super friendly guys. Assembled my mtn bike for me after I shipped it out. They even helped me fix a piece on my Yakima rack. Extremely generous and knowledgable! In it for the passion!

Great shop ran by great guys. I consider it quite an advantage to have a full service shop this close to the goods and stop in when ever I m up there. I usually pick up something there even if I don t need it.

George is the guy to go to if you're in Mt. Hood and have an issue with your bike. The shop has a bunch of sweet bikes available to rent.
