I was travelling on a road trip from Canada when my car had a suspicious leak. Tim and John were so kind and courteous in helping us out. They were extremely thorough in their inspection and even washed my car before I picked it up. Amazing service!

Tim and his colleague were very helpful just before closing. Travelling with our VW westfalia and the clutch was acting up. Tim took it for a test drive and told us how to keep it going. Thanks Tim.

These people treated me like a princess, such great service with smiles, my bill was even less than what was quoted and that's always a plus. The owner even walked out to the street to check for traffic to make sure I was safe to pull out because of the fast traffic! Just WOW, and thank you guys so much for your service!

Got my Ford Expedition in and out quickly when its alternator decided to start going out while I was visiting the area. Called them at 10am on a Friday, they had me drop it off at 1:30pm the same day, they called me with the diagnosis at 2pm, and I came back and drove it away at 3:30pm. Everyone was friendly and nice, and no bs whatsoever. Just as good an experience as I could possibly have while having car trouble 150 miles from home.

Most honest garage I've ever worked with. Great mechanics, home town love and involvement. Trina and team has kept our vehicles on the road and working for years, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

This review is about a year overdue, but better late than never! TJ's Auto Repair was amazing to us when my family and I experienced car trouble on the way home from the coast. My (very) pregnant self, my husband, our two young kids, and my mother-in-law were in the car quite far from home when it began overheating to the point it was not drivable. Did I mention it was also raining?TJ's got us in quickly, diagnosed the issue and changed the faulty part the same day with all of us piled in the car. They were friendly and quick and we haven't had an issue with the car since. Thank you for making what would have otherwise been a complete disaster a pleasant experience!

My car was an absolute hassle from start to finish, but the crew here got it taken care of and did everything they could to make sure I was driving a safe vehicle. If these guys can't fix it, no one can!

My daughter s clutch went out in the evening in Astoria on a day trip from Portland. AAA towed her car to TJ s after hours. Within a short amount of time, they had diagnosed and fixed the issue, and price was extremely reasonable. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Great to see a shop with a lady that knows what she s doing working there! Thank you TJ s for making our trip from Portland completely worth it!Service: Brake service & repair

I wanted to get on here and give this place a shout out! I came in with inoperative brake lights and the manager was super quick about ordering parts and getting me in for this safety issue ASAP! The BEST part about this fix was that they charged VERY reasonably and actually ended up fixing my major issue with my gear box when everywhere else wanted to do TWO separate diagnosis and charge for that, parts and labor. This team is super efficient and super friendly. Even with a small hiccup or two I would recommend this place hands down and don't plan on going anywhere else. THANK YOU for all your help guys! Keep it up!!Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Brakes

I was caught in a recent flood. Seems Magical Unicorn Cars don t swim well! Managed to keep it running until towtruck arrived. (Was only on 2 cylinders at first. Then got dried enough to fire on all four) TJ s dropped everything to evaluate and see what was needed. Turns out, just needed to reset the engine light warning. ... Apparently Unicorns DO fix themselves! TJ s had me on the road in minutes after arriving! My friends have told Me about TJ s great service and connection to our community. Now it s my turn to tell My Friends! Go To TJ s! They will treat you and your car with respect, honesty, and smiles!

TJs is the only shop I will take my car to. Honest people. I have told them what I thought I needed and they have said No I needed something much less expensive. So refreshing to find an expert repair shop which is also honest.

We were traveling Coast to Coast with our 5th Wheel and 2007 Dodge Diesel. Noticed a growling noise from the rear differential, tried to get into a service center with a Dodge dealer in Provo UT, Boise ID, Portland OR, Astoria OR. All were booked out for a month due to the pandemic and shortage of technicians. Referred by the Warrenton Dodge dealer to call TJ's. They scheduled me in for diagnosis and repair. This was over the July 4th holiday and rental cars were nonexistent. They provided their shop truck since we're on the road and replaced badly worn Bearings. It was the best experience I've received from a local shop that seriously cares about people on the road that needed service. I waited to post this review, so that the repair, and additional adjustments were good. We're now back in Montana with over 1200 miles and the rear differential is as it should be. Great service, excellent people and shop I'd recommend.

Stopped in on vacation because our newly purchases used rv was having a few issues and Tim was so helpful. He problem solved a few issues, told is how to fix a couple easy things and was overall the nicest mechanic we have ever ran into. They got us in fast and made us feel like top priority. Price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Thank you!

I was refered here from a dealership because I have a Volkswagen jetta and the dealership was unable to work on it. I was charged 1300 bucks for them to replace a few things. I got my car back and not even 4 hours later it started doing the exact same thing is was doing the first time I brought it in. I had to bring the car back and they said they went ahead and waived the 140 dollar diagnostic fee. Considering the car wasnt fixed the first time it was the least they could do. They charged me another 500 bucks and fixed what needed to be done the first time. So they got 1300 bucks out of me for nothing. Do not go here!!! They will take your money and your car will still be broken.

Always friendly, professional service at a fair price. They go out of their way to get a less-than-straightforward problem resolved. My last fix involved removing rain water from my tailights with an enhanced turkey baster! Lol

I had an appointment at 9am and was quoted either $150 or $200 depending on the part. My husband took the car in and they didn't get the car in until 11ish am. Then came out and quoted him just under $400. Not the end of the world because 2 parts failed. They told us 2.5 hours then our car would be done. I had to call as 315pm and ask what's going on since it's Friday and we need our car. The lady told us it would be another hour, but to come on in. We get there and there's another 2 hour wait. While we're waiting, the lady comes out laughing and asked us if we have full coverage insurance. I asked her if she was talking about my car as there was another customer there (who was told her truck would be ready the day before but then was told she could come get it the next day, she got her truck about 20 minutes before we got ours) but the lady looked at me and laughed more and nodded then walked away. All i could say was I hope she's joking. After I finally got my car back at 6pm, it seemed ok but less than 24 hours later, guess whose car doesn't work right? Don't go there... Love your money and car enough...

Super friendly staff!! Very thorough and knowledgeable! The service took a little longer than I had expected, but I wasn't charged extra, and I really enjoyed chatting with the staff! Also, they didn't try to oversell me on anything I didn't need! I thought I needed brakes, and they assured me that there was a lot of life left in the brakes I had! I'll be going to TJ's for all of my mechanical needs!

Took my car here for a noise in front right wheel, when weight shifts to the right side it makes a grinding noise, they insisted it was the left wheel and replaced a few components. Also stated my belts were shot.2k later the car wont start without a jump and the noise is still in the right wheel in addition it violently shakes above 50. Thats new. So I'm out 2 k my car wont start and its worse now than it was before. Danielle in a text stated NO NOISES DRIVES GREAT must have been a different car.

Went in to have a new HEI distributor and fan blower motor installed. Fan was bad so they installed a rebuilt one along with a new set of plug wires. Total labor bill was $640.80, an amount I found to be excessive and unreasonable for the amount of work done. Tim said that even this amount was 2 hours LESS than the mechanic spent on the job, inferring I was getting a good deal at the $640.80 price. I disagree. If anything this just points out the excessive amount of time this mechanic needed to do the job. I will not be returning for further service here.

This place is an absolute complete joke. I had the oil changed on a generator for a motorhome. The daughter changed the oil on the generator, however, she did not start the generator after she changed the oil. Any mechanic knows you should start the engine after the oil change so you can check the oil levels and check for leaks. She did not turn on the generator. I left for a 1,000 mile trip the next day. I turned on the generator and it would not start. I tried several more times and it would not start. I was at a rest stop and someone then knocked on my door and told me I had an oil leak. I walked outside and looked at the generator and there were 2 quarts of oil under the generator. This was on a Saturday and I was already about 400 miles away from this shop. I called the shop and talked to the daughter and she gave me someone to visit in Northern California. I called the shop and they could not do it. I then wasted the next 3 hours of my time looking for a shop that could do it. I paid $32 to another shop (plus I tipped the guy $10 because he did it last minute). I called TJ's to ask if they would refund the money they charged me for the oil change on the generator. They gave me the run around and told me to call NAPA for a refund on the oil filter. I again told them that the job was done improperly and despite having this ruined my entire weekend and wasting three hours of my time, I am only asking for a refund for the oil change for the generator. They still refused and gave me the runaround. I strongly suggest avoiding this place.

Came to them w/ check engine light on & explained scenario. Mechanic was sure it just needed an oil change (which I was charged over $100 just for that-no special upgrade oil or filter). They also changed my brake circuit board-which lights still flicker (said it was brand new & I was lucky for that)). They did not do diagnostic yet turned off the check engine. After leaving, I still experienced the same issue and few days later...check engine light came back on...Ended up being a slipping tranny and $ loss! No bueno...

They fixed our Jeep while we were on an extended out-of-town trip caring for an ailing family member. They ended up holding the vehicle for a couple months due to our logistics. They are great people. A++++++++
