We are loyal Choice members, but I usually shy away from Econo Lodges, but what a surprise this one is. Very clean and comfortable. Sarah at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. If you are a lite sleeper request a back room , we had a front room and could occasionally hear trucks driving by. Not an issue for us but I know some people can be sensitive to noise. There is a local brew house restaurant next door which was delicious ( try the sweet potato fries). Only good things to say about this motel. If administrators are reading this a small ramp from the parking lot to the front sidewalk would be appreciated so you don t have to bump your rolling luggage up the curb when checking in. Highly recommend.

What a roller-coaster! First impressions were good, clean room, no bad smells like some reviews had said. The male receptionist was friendly and professional, getting us checked in and even allowed us a late check-out as we were traveling for the eclipse. Cracks started to show as house keeping barged in at 9:30 AM. No knock. They proceeded to hang out outside our door laughing and joking until we asked them to please let us sleep...10:57 AM. and the phone rings. It's Lynne! The friendly morning receptionist!"Time to leave."We tried to tell her that we had been given a late check-out."We don't do that." ..ok.So we go down to check out and are met with horrible attitude and bogus accusations of being liars and drug addicts. I understand that businesses have procedures and rooms need to get cleaned, but we were the only people there on a Monday morning. Is demand so insane that you can't spare the hour that you had already granted us? I gave up arguing when she wanted to trespass us for still being in the lobby talking to her at 11:01 AM.She said she would call the cops so we left..She followed us into the parking lot!!As she continued to hurl insults, I walked across the lot to the neighboring business as I saw some employees and wanted to get their take on the situation. They said that we weren't the first to describe such a scene and that she shouldn't represent the business.TO THE OWNERS: This is not the only review detailing the misadventures of this "manager."This is NOT what the hospitality industry is about!#dayruined #Lynnesanity

We stayed here on the way to (and will stay coming from) Idaho. I was thinking we d made a mistake when I first saw the outside. Inside hallways and common areas are clean and rooms are updated. Our pet room was nice-sized and very clean and pleasant. The only issue is we had to defrost part of the freezer with the hairdryer so that the fridge would close. Close to some good dining places, too.

Very clean room, halls, parking area. Clean bathroom and bedding. Windows open! Friendly and helpful staff. Alex was there at 10PM to check us inn. Efficient, friendly, with good tips on where to run in the morning with our dog. They have pet friendly rooms.

Not worth the expensive stay. Newly renovated, but very rancid smell, and no sound proofing at all. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was minimal even for Continental. Friendly staff. Paid a whopping $170 when it should ve been no more than $100. At least it wasn t the Econolodge in Kennewick Had to run away from that one!

Similar to other reviewers, I had a bad experience with the manager at this Econo Lodge. I was charged an "undisclosed cat" fee of $200. I had paid the pet fee at check in. It was unclear that cats weren't allowed. Manager Lynne Kitrel was very unpleasant. The $200 charge is excessive and since it was not included in their hotel policies could be considered as theft. My room had a broken sink faucet and the breakfast food advertised was not provided. In response to the "General Manager". The pet policy is not accurately posted on all booking websites. I am waiting for a refund either through the hotel or Econolodge corporate. Guests should not have to worry about unauthorized charges to their credit cards. Did the hotel manager pocket the $200 she charged me? Easy money from unsuspecting customers.

Really nice hotel for the money. Rooms have recently been refurbished, every worker has been kind and helpful.I go to Tri cities a couple times a month this hotel is about 25 miles from Kennewick right off the highway. I find it to be a welcome escape from the corporate and/or low budget hotels in Kennewick with not much of a drive.

Buildings aren't great looking but my room was very nice with a nice bed, a TV with cable channels and a very nice bathroom. Only issue was the shower never got warm in the morning. Staff was very friendly. Coffee in room and free pastry or bar in the lobby in the morning.

Beautiful hotel! Don't let the outside fool you. The rooms are fabulous, and the ladies that work here and the on-site manager are brilliant! The ADA room was spacious and cleaned well. Psst the coffee shop next door is over the top! We have stayed in TriCities and Hermiston, but I will stay here every time we visit our daughter. Perfect hotel for Umatilla. Just one thing to update during this recent stay. We are here at the end of May, and it's warm outside, and a dip in the pool would be nice, but it's not open. Bummer.

Clean room, comfortable beds. Water felt weird, like I had to keep rinsing because it left a film, maybe too much water softener? Very limited breakfast which we missed anyway. Pet fee is affordable but no great place for pets to be walked/grassy patch for toileting. Nice desk staff. Room has a decent sized mini fridge and good cable tv. Toiletries are econo lodge brand so didn't use them. Overall a fine place to stay, totalled $117 for cheapest room with pet.

We booked a pet friendly room online, arrived at the hotel to be told they did not allow cats which is unclear on the website. Staff was rude and confrontational before this problem even arose, from the second I walked in the door. We were turned away. Lucky we booked with a third party because staff told us that they would refuse to refund us if it were up to them.

Despite me stating specifically that I need wifi to complete work for my job, and being assured that guest wifi works good, doesn't over an hour trying to connect this morning before the front desk told us that they have bad wifi, it's an ongoing issue, and the earliest they can get someone to look at it is the 30th. No month specified. It is the 24th, today.Room was OK. Staff was nice. Shower comes out fast and hard.

Friendly, professional staff. Easy directions. Easy reservation and intake, comfortable firm mattress. Room appeared clean. Im assuming the free breakfast was severely limited due to covid, but we'll made up for by the location of a great place to eat next door and a grocery just the other side.

Pros: cost, newer building/rooms, bed comfort, quaintCons: unreliable WiFi, wasn t totally clean (dusty/particles on floor, long hair in towels, some stains in tub), very small town so almost no food options, very basic common area amenities & room feels bareOverall, I d say it was 3.5 stars for me. Maybe a 4 if Internet was better or room was cleaner.
