We needed to replace the speakers in our car, and get the stereo properly hooked up (the previous owner did their own wiring, and it was messed up). Steven was friendly, great at offering options, and up front with pricing. The car sounds so much better! Would recommend going there for any of your audio needs.

I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my interactions with Sonic Audio. Responses were quick, friendly and helpful. The work done in replacing the factory speakers in my Camry was perfect and the sound quality greatly improved. I appreciated the dog-friendly waiting area and the great music emanating from the shop. Highly recommended!

Amazing service. Went above and beyond what I had actually expected in terms of helping me with the whole process. Broke down everything I had questions about and walked me through the whole install. Excellent price for quality of work. Going here for future work and recommending this shop for anyone I know looking to get audio work down for their personal cars.

AMAZING. They are so friendly, honest and do stellar work. I attempted to do my own install and botched a few things. They did a great rescue service and did a few other things for me. I'll be back with my other cars. One of the best car audio install experiences I have ever had. Highly recommend!

Sonic Audio is the best car stereo installer on the Westside (and probably the Portland metro area). Steven and Nicole are highly knowledgeable, very friendly, and eminently honest.They do not have a retail showroom, but that's actually a good thing. Unlike most other shops, Sonic Audio doesn't play the extraneous upsell game. Just give them a call, explain what you want, and they will work with you to build, quote, and install a tailored solution that meets your needs and budget.I worked with Sonic Audio to upgrade my 2013 Subaru Impreza's sound system in stages. They offered really helpful advice in support of my harebrained efforts (my words, not theirs ) to install new speakers myself. They quoted me a very fair price and did an outstanding job installing a Kenwood head unit and Infinity powered subwoofer that I bought elsewhere. I also just bought and had installed an Alpine KTA-450 4-channel amplifier through Sonic with excellent results.One important note: Sonic Audio's pricing is fair and reasonable, but don't expect screaming bargains on components. They stock and special order the items that they know will work based on experience. Also, it's worth paying for the expertise and skills of a seasoned pro like Steven to help you pick the right gear for your needs and ensure all the install work is done correctly.

Went here because I was trying to solve a difficult problem with upgrading my Landcruiser that is poorly supported with aftermarket products. I couldn't have been happier with the choice. Super knowledgeable, smart suggestions, no upsell, easy to work with, great quality and value, and a great end result. I would recommend to anyone.

Steve, Jen, Josh, and Brandon are all great people here at Sonic audio! Best car audio shop in Oregon hands down. I've been coming here for almost a year now and have had nothing but love and genuine service from them all. They did wired my Tahoe up for 4 2/0 runs from my singer 390 alt all the way to the back and have it looking clean! I will finally be playing my 20k watt system next week at Sonic on 6/6/20 come to the shop and get your gear here and possibly a demo. Best guys Ive ever met. Sonic Audio For the win!!!! Dont go anywhere else!!! Come to these guys!!!

Although Stephen and "The Sonic" obviously dont really NEED another awesome review I just wanted to add a few things I needed some very custom work done on my 8 year project Porsche Gemballa. Stephen IS the guy!! HE always goes above and beyond to achieve his personal goals of excellence. He is on a personal mission to not only do HIS personal best but THE best in whatever he does. He had my "one of a kind" Porsche at his shop for what seemed to be forever. You know if you really want the best be must prepared to accept the artists needs to take the time it takes to really get things right. Cheers to a one of a kind and keep up the fantastic work. It will be a sad day when Stephen is no longer available so get in there while you can!!!

This place has great technicians and reasonable prices. They take extra care to do things the right way and they have great service. I was 100% happy with my custom box build install and custom license plate. I would absolutely go here and recommend them.

I am by no means a car audio guy . I needed a back up camera for my F350 so I did a quick Google search on my phone to find a car audio place near Sherwood. I could not be more happy with the service and cost of installing a new back up camera in my truck. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give Sonic Audio a 10. Very customer centric and zero pressure when it comes to deciding on which componenets will work best for you and your vehicle.

Absolutely wonderful staff, that were incredibly helpful and insightful to what I was looking to get done. Steven, the owner is a no frills, straight forward guy. His wife Jenn, is an absolute delight to speak to, and dont even get me started about the ball of fluff that is Tsula The Service Dog! All the installers were super courteous as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants amazing service and a wonderful experience.

These guys do great work! They installed a new touch screen backup camera with Apple airplay and more in our 2003 Toyota Highlander. Really enjoying the update, without buying a new car. Thank you, Steve and Nicole!

Outstanding! We just had audio work done on two of our vehicles, one also with a Car Play and a back up camera. We are delighted with the results of their work. They really know what they are doing and the end results are terrific. We could not be more pleased. The sound systems are incredibly improved. The job came in on budget and on time. We will definitely recommend Sonic Audio to anyone who is seeking to improve the quality of their factory installed sound system. You won't go wrong dealing with Sonic Audio. Took my truck to Sonic Audio because speakers on one side did not work, and I wanted to put the truck up for sale. They found out it was one speaker that was not working and replaced it in 1/2 hour labor and $10 parts! They could have charged me for a new amplifier, etc, because I don't know anything, but they proved to be very ethical and honest! Highly recommend this shop!

10/10 will recommend them to anyone. We will only use them for any stereo needs in the future. Install dates are several weeks out, but 100% worth the wait to have it done correctly!!! Took our car in to add a sub and replace some blown speakers.final cost came in under their original quote. Outstanding customer service, easy and consistent communications, and final product is excellent, could not tell anything was done. Everything was hidden and all the panels looked just as they did when we took the car in.

It makes a difference when the service provider obviously loves what they do. Fair pricing, great attitude, outstanding customer service. I purchased an awesome touchscreen unit, upgraded speakers and remote start. My cost was less than expected both times I went in. I recommend supporting privately owned/operated business like this, especially when they are genuinely awesome people.

Outstanding! Steven and his team have completed both small and large projects for me from a simple fog light install or stereo deck install to a complete $4000 audio system upgrade with alarm and back up camera. Every time the craftsmanship, product knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service have been amazing! The prices and products are always reasonable and they are just nice people who stand behind their work. After visiting almost 10 different stereo shops in the Portland Metro, Sonic Audio is by far is the best overall shop. Well done, guys!

I gave these guys a fairly difficult job of adding a complex multi amp and sub stealth upgrade to a 2020 suburban with bose infotainment and they did an amazing job. Steven is very cool and really paid close attention to what I wanted, worked with the equipment I brought in and then did a super clean install and made several very good decisions about details I'd care about. I'm very happy with how it all turned out and would recommend this shop!

These guys are hands down the best in the business. Steven is the only person I trust to work on my audio system and having used his services since he was running his business mobile I can't tell you how many positive experiences Ive had. Not only do Steven and his team provide the best customer service around but they genuinely care about their customers and want to see them happy with their work. If you need car audio work Steven and his team at Sonic Audio are the first and only place you need to go.

I went to a chain competitor originally because it was a name you hear often on the radio, etc..., and I was told that only a single deck would fit in my dash, which didn't make sense to me because there is a storage compartment below the factory single deck. I did a little research and found Sonic Audio. I was immediately impressed with the friendliness of everyone and the dog too! The owner, his wife, and mother all work there which is awesome to me #americandream. I always try to support small business when I can. Their pricing was less expensive than I could find the deck online for and that included installation! They did an awesome job and helped me sync my phone up to the new double deck and showed me all of it's cool features along with matching up the color scheme to my factory colors. Sonic Audio is the only company that I will allow to touch my deck and tweeters in the future! Much appreciated, highly recommended!

I waited patiently for a whole week to get my speakers installed into my new car, as this business is fairly booked out... it was well worth the wait! My system sounds amazing, and the price was really competitive! He also gave me a few tips/pointers about window tinting. This place has a local/small busniess appeal that I m into! Don t forget to say hello to the super friendly shop pup! I highly recommend this place!

After a few years my system wasn't sounding right and I stopped by their store to talk to someone about my options. In the past I have enjoyed good experiences with a few audio shops, but these guys are by far the most impressive of them all. The experience was so good I am writing a review and I don't write reviews.To begin, they listened and helped find the best solution to fit my needs without any up sell pressure. That alone is hard to find. The prices were more than reasonable on the speakers I added and I thought the labor charges were surprisingly inexpensive and I love that. The quote was right on the button and they finished it quicker than expected with amazing results. It's also the cleanest audio shop I have ever seen and they were the most friendly, respectful and humble group of people you will ever find in this business. Keep in mind they are exclusive Rockford Fosgate store so if you are shopping your options are limited, but they are happy to install your own gear. I will be back and I will be telling all my friends to use Sonic Audio.Aaron

Quality master audio wiring for vehicles, trailers, and so on. Stephen is the owner, and he is an excellent problem solver. There is not a problem that he can't fix with a stereo, vehicle, or trailers wiring. He run's a family owned business with an emphasis on customer service. Seth (one of his best friends) works in the front office, and offers excellent customer service as well. Sometimes you will find Stephen's mother working there as well. She is kind, and very helpful. There are always dogs onsite, and they are absolute sweethearts. I will always continue to recommend and use Sonic Audio for all my vehicles, trailers, cars, or any other vehicles I get in the future.I have been going to Sonic Audio for about 6 years or so. Stephen wired up the security system in my tool trailer, and added more lighting on the interior and exterior of the trailer. More recently I was having some issues with the charging for the trailers on board battery. I was also having issues with my work trucks 7/4 pin wiring harness. Stephen straightened it out in less than a day. He also wired up the stereo in my work truck with a wireless mic for talking hands-free, and a couple of speakers several years ago. Everything still works perfectly.
