This guy had my car for 5 months, didn't finish the work, promised to pay for a rental car I had and didn't, ignored all my calls, kept me in the dark on everything.HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT GO HERE. I called 5 times on my way to work one morning, ignored every time. Called from my work phone and what do you know, guy answers on the first ring. Lie after lie after lie. I ended up having to take my car back unfinished, and spent another 2k at the dealership for them to fix what he made worse. He twisted and pinched my coolant and transmission oil lines to the point that neither of them were receiving fluids. The dealerships exact statement was "I don't know what happened in here but the last guy f'd this whole thing up". Do with that what you will.Terrible service, terrible work, terrible business. Do not take your car here under any circumstances.

So I took my vehicle to Sam after a small accident. He charged our insurance company $3500 and from what was returned to me, he didn t actually do any real work. What he did, I could have done better myself.I let the insurance provider know that he s a con who likely committed insurance fraud and sent them the images of the repairs he actually did for $3500.He simply reattached the bumper using the same fixtures which were already present on the vehicle. He didn t replace any parts, he didn t even fix the other things he said he would. All he did was throw a few screws in and call it good.Do yourselves a favor, don t use him, you ll regret your choice to do so, I do.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

Very unhappy with Sam. Took over 4 months to get a simple seat belt and somehow the car was returned with additional scratches and an improperly aligned hood/ fender. After a small accident, this should have been easy. I regret using this shop and will never recommend him to anyone. Between the shoddy work and the horrific communication/ lies, TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE!

I would not recommend this business. I brought my 1967 Mustang to Sam for a new paint job in March, 2019 and I had it picked up in April, 2021. The paint job and trim work was ok. He recommended new brakes. When I got the car back the breaks did not work - my mechanic said they were not for this model of mustang and the car was not driveable - and definitely not safe. So I had to spend more money to get new brakes installed. The car hood wouldn't close due to misaligment (a problem they caused and it should have been fixed) and it was held together with a bungee cord. It looks like he took my original hardware for inside the car and probably put it on someone else's car. He told me on several occassions the car was ready when in fact it was not. I'm surprised he is still in business - he is a very shady business person and I would not recommend giving him any business.Services: Body & Trim, Brakes

I was involved in an accident and I took my car to Sherwood Auto Body. They were very professional and handled my claim with the insurance company from start to finish, They even gave me a loner car to use while mine was being repaired. When I came to pick up the car I couldn't even tell where it had been damaged. The paint matching was right on and the car was even washed and detailed for me. I will take all my vehicles back to this shop they seem to do excellent work.

They did a restoration paint job on my 66 Barracuda and they absolutely nailed it...hit it outta they park! I love my car, I can't stop looking at it, it absolutely perfect. All the poeple there are super nice and chill. I honestly, will give Sam a call first for anything in the future, and i will definitely recommend Sherwood Auto Body and any of Sam's other shops. Have patience with them and they will hook you, believe me.

*pics of my car in photo's section* Took my car here after it was rear ended to fix the trunk and while we were at it, get the paint fixed because it was peeling away in places. Got the car back and saw that the paint was not properly buffed in places, the trunk was no longer crunched but the strong arms were still broken allowing the trunk to slam closed and not hold open and there was polish dust and drips all over the inner parts of the doors and trunk. We called, they said they would fix it so we brought it back to them. After picking it up the second time we inspected it at home and although they buffed the paint much better this time, there was still noticeable problem areas. They again failed to clean up the polish dust and drips on the insides of the doors and trunk. There were actual drips of polish on the inside front door consoles on both sides. The trunk still slammed closed and would not hold open. There was a drop of hardened polish on the font of the car that dried, the rear chrome strip was replaced but re-applied with a crinkle in it and they replaced my impala emblem upside down. I refused to take it back a third time and had my husband fix the trunk by replacing the strong arms and I will clean up the polish dust and drips they left on the inside of car myself. The chrome strip will just remain crinkled until I find another shop to do a better job.

Sherwood auto body made some repairs on our vehicle thru one of their satellite shop's and did a very poor job on repairs. When I attempted to contact the shop they had closed down. After some careful research I found that Sam at Sherwood auto body owned these locations so I called and spoke with Sam. He promised to repair the vehicle. We then took it to one of his other shops Clackamas Auto Body at Sam's request in April. It is now October and they did nothing to repair the problem. We are picking up our car now which has a dead battery and are not happy with there service. These people are thieves! Save yourselves the headache and take your vehicles to a real body shop!

WORSE AUTO BODY SHOP EVER!!! He's had my son's car since June 24th when it was rear-ended and towed there. He was immediately paid by the offending party's insurance. AND THE CAR ISN'T DONE YET!!! It's taken stopping over there almost weekly to get incremental things done. It sat in his yard after an initial straightening out until we yelled at him enough that he finally got it back into the shop. We were promised the car last Thursday. Then it was Saturday. On Saturday he promised it would be done on Monday. We went to pick it up...and all it needs is to have the @$@$% bumper put on...and IT ISN'T DONE YET! This shop should not be in business any more. He is a bald-faced liar...PS: It's now Wednesday afternoon. He had once again promised to have it done by Tuesday evening...and it wasn't. He told my son he could pick it up at 8am on Wednesday...and the car wasn't done. My son sat there for five hours...missing another day at work...figuring that if he left the moron would stop working on it again...and he finally got his car back early this afternoon. Still two issues with it, though, so he might take it to another shop to get those issues taken care of. DON'T EVER TAKE A CAR TO SHERWOOD AUTO BODY! This man seriously should not be in business,.

I took my car to Sam after another shop told me it would take two months to get my bumper fixed, which seemed like way too long to wait. Sam promised to have my car back in a week and he delivered. It's like my bumper was never damaged. Very pleased!!!

I went to Sherwood Auto Body on the recommendation of a friend knowing that price was a concern. I was given a fair price, better than other estimates. My car is like new right down to the paint. I have already referred co workers to Sam. Whenever I need to go for repairs this is where I'll be going!J. Orlando

Sam and his team are excellent! Highly reccommend this shop - they're fast, professional and competitively priced. I'm really happy with the work done on my car following a recent accident. I will absolutely bring my business here in the future.

Very happy with the service and price. We had gotten 2 estimates for our MDX and Sherwood auto body was by far the least expensive. They got us in right away, promised us it would be ready in 3 days and it was right on schedule and perfection.

Guy running it is a joke. Took in my 2018 CRV and it was a total mess. Went to pick it up after it was done and repairs looked like they were done by a 5 yr. Old, my windows were down with a hose that had a hole in it spraying water in my vehicle on the side of the shop. On top of that the owner starts telling me how sorry he is but the car is not ready for pick up because his employee put a dent in the door, on accident of course but.... brand new vehicle come on... The owner said he would pay for repairs to be done at Tualatin auto body (where I should have gone to begin with) but than dodged me for weeks. I ended up getting ahold of him a few times (on other peoples phones of course) and got every excuse in the book. Even told me his brother was shot by isis.... in california..... Wouldnt take a geo metro to this shop.

I had a medium sized accident an must have gotten six estimates. *UGH* Sherwood auto body got my vehicle finished in a week! Everyone else said at least 3 Weeks! My Toyota dealer even wanted to charge me for an inspection, that Sherwood auto body did for free. If you are on the fence about where to take your car... Sherwood Auto Body.

Did a TERRIBLE job paint matching my bumper. My car is a light blue, and when I picked it up there was a green tint to the blue that exist nowhere else on the car. When I brought this up with them they said that there are multiple paint formulas for my car, and that was the closest they could get.Took it somewhere else and the paint was matched perfectly on the first try.

Avoid at all costs. Garbage work, garbage service, garbage owner. If you're considering taking your car to Sam, i'd first think about perhaps lighting your money on fire and driving the car straight into the river.Took A YEAR to do a paint job promised in 2 months. I can't even describe the level of ineptitude and the number of flat-out lies told to me in that time as excuses for things not getting done. Literally had to spend a full day off trying to HELP HIS CREW finish the job when i showed up at the time he'd PROMISED to have it finished. After this, i had to bring it back due to his terrible work only to have more excuses and lies over and over, which he still hasn't made right. He is currently avoiding all of my attempts to contact including to his business and cell phones. Doesn't show up to HIS SHOP until late afternoon most days, can't guess what that's all about.Please don't make the mistake i did - although i can't begin to imagine he'll be in business much longer.

Horrible job, orange peel, over spray on windows, and chrome wheel covers, then they scratched the windows when I returned to have the over spray removed. Now the car is peeling and looks horrible. The bad job took weeks and they never gave me a receipt or warranty in writing. Kept asking for money before the job was completed. Missing items from car.

I took my 2010 mercedes benz s550 to have the driver side damages repaired, i read the old review and i was in question about it so i wanted to see it my self, i mean the shop has been in that area for a long time and just one bad review does not scare me off since i drove by their shop all the time and saw how busy they were, any ways, not only they were friendly to me and my wife they went out of they way to get my car to me in less then a week, the work was magnificent and the servis was out standing plus good coffee. i will go back for any type of services and told all my friends and family.

I had some mechanical repairs done with Sherwood Auto Body it was very quick and inexpensive was very happy with the work the customer service was excellent I will return for all my mechanical repairs and I will recommend them to all my friends. Thank you Sam your the best.SincerelyAntonia Byars

Excellant service! I was in a front end collision, they worked with my ins companyand got me free loaner. It was a very fast and excellant job. I will recomend thim to all.Thank you sherwood auto body for all you help.

HORRIBLE---STAY AWAY!!!! I much like the other reviewers on here dealt with shotty work, poor communication(hard to reach over the phone) and expired deadlines. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. DO NOT go here you will regret it!
