The folks here couldn't be more helpful, I've had my vehicle in once for replacement cat. converter and a second time when the car was wearing out.On the Cat replacement they came in under quote and quicker than expected, and fixed a few small things that I didn't even as them to look at.When the car had reached its end of life, I had it towed there after a major mechanical issue, they diagnosed the problem and allowed me to store it on lot til I could get it towed to disposal.100% my mechanic for the future, they should be yours too.

Chris and his team are some of the best! Just took my honda element here they were quick and super understanding of my car issues. This is now my go to shop for my element! Gentlemen,I just wanted to say thank you for expediting repairs on my vehicle. My wife is having a Christmas Craft market over at Camp Withycombe this weekend and we would have had to rent transportation to get her there. Your one day turnaround on the alternator install saved us the expense! I can t recommend this place enough, I ve been to them once before for a new radiator and today my alternator died at the worst time possible and they were able to squeeze me in and get it fixed same day. I have an older car and since my original mechanic retired I m so relieved to find someone who is fair and reasonable and doesn t try to sell me on a bunch of other things that are wrong with my car. These guys are always a pleasure to work with and do an excellent job. They always work with me and I really appreciate it. We have taken our cars here more times then I would like to admit. However, it has always been a good experience. These guys do great work, are honest and fast.The last time my car broke down I had it towed to them and was picking it up later that day! Amazing service.Highly recommend them for any mechanical needs.

We were enroute from PDX to our home in the south valley when we experienced some engine trouble on I5. Advanced Auto was one of the closest shops to our location so we dropped in unannounced - they quickly diagnosed our engine trouble and provided a fix that would get us safely home. We made it home without issue. We would certainly use their service again if we lived in the Portland area. Thanks Advanced Auto for helping us get home safely!Service: Engine repair

My wife's car was having issues, so we took it to Advanced Auto Systems. We worked with Chris, and had a very good experience. He was excellent at communicating promptly, keeping us updated, and being very thorough and honest with the assessment and issues. Her car is now running great, so they were accurate with their diagnostic and the results show. We will definitely use them again in the future.

First, I can say enough nice things about this place. Everyone who works here is just awesome and so friendly. We were in Portland visiting and as we started heading back to central oregon, my car starting to make a horrible noise. I pulled this shop up on my maps on my phone. it just happened to be the closest shop to where we were. We pulled in and they knew exactly what was wrong with my car. I would have to leave it overnight as when I got there, it was almost 4 in the afternoon. The owner of the shop was so helpful. He called a rental car company for me so our family could get back home and also gave my family a ride to enterprise. He also helped me review over a car warranty to see if needed repairs would be covered. At my request, he took the time to help me understand my warranty better. It was an all around great experience. They did great on my car and I was able to pick it up the following day. Appreciate these guys so much. Highly recommend!!

Blew the head gasket on my 1994 Toyota 4Runner, 331,000 miles it was due. Was a two week wait to get the truck into the shop, but a popular shop is a good shop. If you can get right in, there is something wrong with that repair shop. Chris and Mike are honest and very good about communication, I know my SUV well but if you don't know mechanicals that well, they will explain what needs to be done. They replaced only what needed to be replaced, let me buy a new cylinder head and installed that along with a new timing chain, which had broken guides. For major work, they are a solid choice. I will use them in the future without question. Only removed one star due to a fast idle now, may be caused by the coolant in my exhaust pipe, but a really high idle on a 5 speed manual makes the truck undrivable.

I love these guys! They ve been fixing my & my family s cars since 1998, the prices are good and the advice is even better. They even diagnosed a problem with my Subaru that the dealership missed 3 times! Almost feels like family after so many years and so many cars.

Advanced Auto systems is a trustworthy place to take any vehicle. They fixed my BMW and got me back on the road earlier than expected and without breaking the bank. Pricing is fair and the work is solid. I will be back!

I "worked" here in the mid 1990's in high school through a school program. Have been taking cars here to get fixed and telling anyone who will listen or asks to do the same. I have never had anything fail or break that they have fixed. They are always great with explaining what needs to be done and are reasonably priced, fast with repairs also. I have a vehicle that I am sentimentally attached to that I learned to drive with that was my mother's. A few years ago I took it to them to have some engine leaks and preventive maintenance taken care of before driving my wife and 1 year old down to the tip of baja and back, in a 20 year old vehicle with 250,000 miles on it. Not only did it make it there and back without issue but the guys told me to call them if anything happened on the road and they would try to diagnose it and help me fix it over the phone. I won't take a vehicle anywhere else and plead with friends and family to do the same. I live in Portland and don't think twice about taking my cars down to Tualatin to have them work on them. Seriously, take your vehicles here for repair.

So I have been coming to this shop for over 10 years now. I have never had better service fromanyone like what the owner Mike has done for me. Hes completely honest even to the point of telling me that something does not need to be replaced. Most shops will tell you that something is broken when its not just to make money. Several years ago Valvoline tried telling me I had a leak that needed to be repaired and so I went to Mike and he looked at it and told me everything was fine. Their prices are competitive and yes sometimes you might pay a little more then a different shop but its done right with great staff.These guys replace lights for free! . Yes you pay for the headlight but they install all lights free of labor charge. Not many shops will give free labor on light bulb changes.I highly suggest anyone that needs repairs to go see Chris and Mike because they have my business for life.

Mike and the mechanics, as I like to refer to them, have been servicing my vehicles for many years and have been timely, thorough and fair. One of the main reasons that I trust the knowledgeable and professional people at Advanced Auto Systems, is because the boss is in the house. He is always nearby, and that lends a lot of confidence knowing that my repairs are under the watchful eye of a person that I consider to be honest and authentic. I won t be going anywhere else.

Professional, honest, curteous, reasonable! I have an old Land Rover, sigh, for anyone that knows cars, these beasts are often in the shop and expensive to fix. I avoid the dealership as often as possible, but many auto shops want nothing to do with these vehicles. Then I found Advanced Auto Systems, they have often done free OBD meter readings for me, and if service is needed it is affordable and done in a timely and thorough fashion. THANKS GUYS, you are wonderful!!

Just found these guys by searching google when in need of a pre-purchase inspection purchasing a used vehicle in the area. They were very informative and provided a thorough inspection, not only educating me about what to look for when buying a car and expected maintenance costs but also discovering several things that allowed me to negotiate a better deal on the sale. Will return for the recommended maintenance.

The guys here are awesome! Honeat, helpful and just nice men! One even offered to get me back home, if I didn't have a ride once I dropped off my car. It was a snowy day, they heated up my car and got the windows cleared off for me before I left and they did not have to! Great customer service! I highly recommend them! Thank you!

I had my Jeep's air-conditioning system recharged at Advanced auto systems, and in the process they ran into some unforseen mechanical problems. Chris worked quickly and efficiently to get it fixed, and I couldn't be happier! A/C blows ice cold! Excellent communication, and honest repair costs. I would highly recommend

Mike and his guys are outstanding mechanics. I used to live near them, now I am clear across town, but I drive to them for my auto maintenance. They are very trustworthy and will give you honest answers and often tell you there is nothing that needs to be done!!! Very reasonable pricing also.

I ve taken 3 different cars to these people. They have fixed the problem quickly and super reasonable prices. About to take 4th car in. I m positive they will have the same quality service. Highly recommended.

I had a flashing check-engine light while 9 hours from home, and these guys took care of me quickly. They got me back on the road and rather than a $1500 bill that I was expecting, I was only charged $268. I will see them again if Im in need of service while visiting Tigard/Tualatin area.
