My recent experience with yourtruck repair services has been nothing short of a nightmare. From poor communication to shoddy repairs, I am utterly dissatisfied. The lack of professionalism and the subpar quality of work have not only inconvenienced me but also raised serious concerns about your competence in this field.I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider using your services unless significant improvements are made.They took about a month to fix simple things and keep suggesting change some stuff on truck, even its in good condition just to make some money.Terrible experience, first read review before trusting your property to them.

After 3 weeks, and then dealing with the State Troopers, City Cops of The Dalles Oregon, and DOJ of Oregon. I Findlay got my truck out of the hands of this place. Fuel Pump broke the bolts and Pump broke too.I went down in a Snow Storm. They were out making money on the road pulling people out and fixing tires while I was losing money waiting for them. I got back to Oregon after going home for a week to deal with family issues. And truck was still not moved into the shop after I told them 5 days I'll be there again. So they knew I was coming back to get it. Not a place that I could go to again.So after telling them I was going to pull it. They went off on me. And said they would put it in now. And they did. Well a long story gets longer. Gear Jammer Radio posted about this problem shop. And Tagged them. This shop has a problem with a bad review and called me to get my truck out. After he worked on it for two hours. He did tell me the day before the Fuel Pump was broken. After he took off one line. It came out. That was the 4 hours he charged me. OOH.. and removed the tire for more room. I understand that. And had to remove batterie cover to get to airtank. He didn't know about the air line hook-up under the hood. Or said his fitting didn't work for it. But after I told him about it. To my surprise he was using it then to get air to brakes. After paying the 4 hour bill of $1420.00 for the time in shop. And the storage fees for working hour lost in shop. He pulled it out to a parking lot 485 feet down the road.So the next morning I had a Service Truck at the truck at my Motel picking me up to go work on it. About 11AM I was off to the Highway I go. Took Service truck less than 3 hours to remove 2 broke bolts in the parking lot. Put back on drive line. All the fuels to do this job. New Pump and I'm off. Did do a regeneration to the truck. That took as long as the work the server truck was. People I'm not going to say don't go there. But look for other places first. My bad luck might have been just my luck. But if you have a flat tire. I here they are good for that issue. Mr. Stanton. I'm sorry for not giving you a better star. But here are the Broken Bolts from the paccar block that was taken out in parking lot. That you said a Service Truck wouldn't be able to do. I guess I found the Truck that knows what he is doing. 3.5 hours and sent me down the road. But you knew that, the way you were driving around looking on.Have a great New Year ahead of you.

Worst experience of my entire life dealing with an auto repair shop. My motorhome broke down in the middle of nowhere, and the closest RV shop was Stanton Truck & RV Repair. Biggest mistake ever. Had my motorhome towed there, and was told it would take approximately six weeks because of Covid. Unfortunately, this company lacks professionalism. They never looked at my motorhome. What they did was gaslight me for a year and a half. They sent me a message and told me I had five days to come and pick up my motorhome, and that they had the legal right to deny me any work. I had to pay Towing to have it removed from their lot after it sat there for 1.5 years. I had it towed to a new RV repair shop in Washougal, Washington. That RV repair shop looked at at the very first day it arrived. Stanton Truck & RV Repair me A year and a half of not being able to use my motorhome. A year and a half of paying for my insurance and licensing, well not having access to it because it sat on their lot. They never even went inside motorhome when it arrived at the new RV shop they sent me pictures of all the water damage By Stanton s lack of making sure my motorhome was taken care of while it sat on their lot. They also did not winterize my vehicle. It s on their lot two winters. Needless to say, the waterlines are all ruined, and need to be repaired. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. The owner and her husband are both extremely unprofessional. Josh thought it was OK to scream And yell at me on the phone. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, And apparently did not care one tiny bit that my motorhome At his shop. I live 90 miles from Canada. They knew exactly how far away I lived, and they took advantage of that. I couldn t go in to see my vehicle. I had zero control over my vehicle. They cost me more money by allowing my vehicle to sit on their lot for a year and a half. And sadly, I am not the only person they have done this to. Do not take your vehicle here.

There are good people in this world. Our driver had a heart attack at a shipper and we needed someone to get our truck backed into a door so the warehouse can unload the trailer. Josh (the owner) and Michelle were absolutely amazing. They were sympathetic about the situation and Josh even offered to do it for FREE! Thank you Josh. Thank you Michelle. You guys are really salt of the earth kind of people! We have tractors all across the country and we will use your services in the future!

Did a great job on an oil change, air filter change, preventative maintenance service (king pins and power steering), and then swapping out some tires. Did a great job and got my truck back to me by the end of the day in great shape. Felt great on the road, has felt great since, and it's a good truck.

Very unprofessional, would not recommend. Dropped our rv off for an oil change, they would not schedule us for an actual appointment, and so we were told to leave it overnight, it would be taken care of first thing in the morning. It wasn't taken care of by noon, and we were told by two different people two different times it would be looked at and then eventually a third person who didn't know what was going on let my husband in to get our rv. We are living in it as my husband travels for work and that was so sketchy it was unreal. Place looks like a junkyard.

This Stanton truck repair is joke, they hold me for four days now to do oil change and electric repair, I went to bishop truck repair in Biggs junction and my repair cost 73 dollars Plus oil change, they newer call me back !!! Strongly not recommend to use Stanton in The Dalles!!! I m driving for 30 years and first time I see that ugly lies!! Beter to drive 28 miles and get repair at Bishop towing and repair!!!!!

I haven't done business here. However I sat outside their gate for two hours with Mr. Payton in my car. While we waited for the owner to show up so he could get his truck outta there. I also spoke with others in The Dalles who state "their reputation as swindlers proceeds them."

Great owners who actually care about you. We were on a youth group trip and in the middle of nowhere when I locked my keys in my truck. We were supposed to be taking all of the kids to the river that day, but the trip was not going to happen without my truck. Stuck at camp and not sure who to even call, I contacted Stanton Truck after a Google search. The owners were very helpful and very kind. They sent a driver out to help us and he got there super quick, considering we were all the way down in Dufur. The driver was professional and got me in my truck in less than a few minutes. Thanks to Stanton Truck, the owners and the driver they sent, we got the kids to the river and didn t miss the trip. God bless you all! Thanks again!

My truck was broke down and called these guys and regretted it . They are very unprofessional very rude , they don t know what they are doing, on top of that they rip you off charge more then any other shops included the freightliner dealer , the computer diagnosis only is $600 without doing anything else , they waste your time just take your money without doing anything for you , they did computer hookup on the first day I came to them they couldn t figure out a simple thing but gave me an invoice of computer hookup job of $330 which is already high price then the next day they told me they don t have time and asked me to wait tomorrow which is the third day , I kept asking them if they at least know the issue but they didn t know then I decided to leave them I tried to pay the invoice they gave me but they didn t like me leaving then they wanted to rip me off more take more money from me so they did make a new invoice of more money about $499 , it was ridiculous and dramatic, when I told them I already have invoice you guys gave me on the first day and willing to pay that amount they started blocking my truck which was parked outside on the street I had to call the cops on them, very violence people they tried to fight me, threaten me and that s why I called the cops because I scared for my self I wasn t feeling safe I uploaded the two invoices look at the difference amounts and all they did was computer hookup run test every truck driver knows how much that would be cost so I m lease be careful with these people, stay away from them so you can stay safe .

We were up from California at a National Rally race in town. Direly needed some tires swapped on some wheels but everyone was closed on Sunday. The owners of Stanton RV and Truck Repair answered their phone and realized we really needed some help. They sent a tech to open the shop on a Sunday and he got the tires mounted up for us. Talk about service above and beyond! We re out racing as we speak and our chances of a great result really improved thanks to these folks. Thanks !John from Grass Valley, CaService: Tires

Our truck broke down west of the Dallas on our way home from the coast. We were towing our fifth wheel. We called Stanton and told them what was happening. They said do not travel any further. We took it to them and dropped our fifth wheel in a local park. After being there for a week, we were told they would work on it asap. We had to get home so my son came and towed our fifth wheel. We told them we needed the hitch and would come get it and they said they would bring it to us. Never mentioned charging us $125 , which they did. It was three miles from their shop. They had the truck for 65 days without working on it. When we would call we were told soon, soon. The last week they had it we were told it would be in the shop on Wednesday. Never happened. Getting information was like pulling teeth. We finally decided to have a transport company go get the truck and bring it to us. Our local Dodge dealer can get it in their shop within 2 weeks. They said we had to pay an invoice. We had trouble getting them to send an invoice. Finally 2 days after being told we had to pay we received an invoice. They never diagnosed the problem but charged us any way. Plus the $125 delivery fee for the fifth wheel hitch. That was a total surprise since they offered to bring it. The total cost was over $300. Empty promises, no communication, . The guy even threatened to put our truck on the street with the keys in it when we told him we were sending someone to get it. He said that he has rigs that have been waiting to be worked on for a year. Well, we need our truck and the deisel repair shops here are only 2 weeks out. In fact we had 2 different scheduled appointments with the Dodge dealership that we had to cancel twice while Stanton had our truck. I would never recommend them. Who goes a year without a vehicle? We had to even cancel a prepaid trip to California that cost us. Not all rv parks give refunds. If we ever break down again, we will have it towed to the nearest dealership. This cost us in total for the rv park cancelations, the transport and Stantons bill, well over $1,000. In hind sight, it would have been better to have it taken to Portland to the Dodge dealership. We were even told that getting parts was hard. Not here in our little town. We were told so many times, it will be worked on next week, that we stopped trusting and believing anything that we were told. Lesson learned.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Would DEFINATLEY RECCOMEND.Me and my ladys truck broke dowm due to an emmisions issue/nox sensor. It was not a full blown engine tear down but it was just as much of a breakdown as anything else. The truck was stuck in limp mode and was rendered useless. Upon arriving at Stantons Truck and RV repair it was obvious that they had much work lined out.. many vehicles around waiting for repair. They put our truck on there PRIORITY LIST considering it was a somewhat minor issue and knowing we were loosing money not being on the road speedy ordered the parts and got it repaired fast. From moment of diagnosis and receiving the part through speed shipping the truck was done with ZERO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS AND BACK ON THE ROAD WITHIN 72HRS.WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Jason and his son Jarred were freindly and professional.If i ever have another issue down the road i know where to go.Thanks Stantons. We had a blowout with one of our rv trailer tires. All the tire places near us were closed. This company came out while they were closed to try to help us out.They didn't have the tires we needed but gave us a spare and checked all the other tires and made sure they were safe to drive on so we can hopefully will make it to our next rv park. At least it wasn't raining lol.Service: Tires
