My grandsons car was stolen. Local police had this company tow it when it was found.We were told it was in impound.Didnt hear anything back for a few days.My grandsons had just got the car. An 18 yr old doesn't think about the fact he has the title and all the info in the jocky box... until it's stolen.Rivers Edge (RE) will only release the car to the registered owner... who is not my grandson. This is also after we found out that the police dept doesn't have an impound lot and that the car tow bill is accruing fees each day.Again...We call RE, and they will only release the car to the registered owner.Soooo...long story short. Car is stolen, new owner not legal owner... RE gets to keep the car because the new owner isn't the registered owner. Our DMV also basically says... sorry for your luck. Goodbye!I feel Rivers Edge office staff was heartless and would not work to help get my grandsons STOLEN car back to him! I will never use this company and will tell everyone I know to do the same!I'm giving them a 2 star rating only because the office lady said to go to our dmv and get a car licensed in our name with NO paperwork! She did give us hope for about 3 minutes.

I'm not going to say a lot here because I don't want the driver to get into any possible trouble. Sometimes companies have lists of things a driver can and cannot do with reasons ranging from liability or possibly injury to the employee. That being said their tired and overworked employee went over and above his duty requirements to help my elderly parents get back to my house so I could get their car fixed.He even dealt with the asinine triple A people that look for any excuse not to pay their obligations. If I ever strike it rich he's on my list of people to poach. As long as he works there I'll recommend Rivers Edge towing.

Prompt, polite, efficient! So thankful they came to my rescue in Washington when I locked my keys in my car. It took less than an hour for them to send someone out. I imagine their other services are just as good!Service: Car lockoutsService: Car lockouts

My hero! Always friendly service, no matter what stupid thing ive done. I have never had anything but grade A service, and they never fail to make me feel better, no matter the situation! AAA should be exceptionally proud of the crews they use here in the Gorge. 15* or 105* service always as quick as possible. Thank you River Edge ! Yet again..always such a relief when you see that truck coming. And your driver ( i didnt get his name) sorry...absolutely Wonderful!Service: Fuel delivery

It was great! Mike got to us within 10 min because it just so happened he was in the closest town to us. He was upbeat with a great sense of humor and a kind heart. Response time was very good unfortunately we left a light on in the car plus did not let the car run long enough for the battery to charge up! We found ourselves in the snow in the middle of the street and had to call them back for a second jump! And again, response time was very fast. All of this in the midst of snow !Thanks for not leaving us stuck in the cold, almost dark. This time we let it charge up longer and it got us home! Happy New Year!Services: Battery service, Battery

My car had a mysterious malfunction that could have been coming from the tires/wheels. Grinding noise and vibration. Rivers Edge did a thorough investigation of the the tires/wheels and breaks and found nothing that would cause the problem. Then I started the car again, the noise began immediately which let us know it wasn't the tires. He wad kind, thorough and very helpful. I really appreciate the service level!Service: Car towing

I was initially told an hour wait, which I happily said yes that s ok (even though I just got done shopping for groceries)So I anticipated the wait and got comfortable and after 10 minutes, here rolls in a Rivers Edge tow truck! Awesome service!! Had me on the road in less than 3 minutes! Now THAT S what you call excellent service!Services: Battery service, Battery

I had tried calling multiple 24 hr tow places and River's Edge was the only one that picked up. My car broke down and I was on the side of the road where I was totally unfamiliar and uncomfortable. Rivers Edge quickly connected me with a driver and were very patient while I was probably freaking out on the phone. Brian was the one who towed my car and he was AMAZING! He didn't give up on me when I wasn't sure how to tell him where I was, he found me, had masks and gloves available, and took me where I needed to be. Not only that, but he was fun to chat with on the way there. I was charged fairly and I could not be more grateful for my experience with Rivers Edge.Service: Car towing

Fast and super friendly driver, made sure my equipment and I where out of harms way and grateful for his professionalism. though his pay was never discussed I will say he is a worthy candidate for an increase in pay. Jesus G. helped me get my keys from my locked car. I was working a clinic in The Dalles and I was on my way home back to Tigard and I stupidly left my keys in my car and accidentally locked it at a gas station. I called AAA to help and they were awesome but they estimated it would be 90 minutes until help would arrive. I waited about 10 minutes until Jesus called me to get my location and he said he would be there in less than 10 minutes. He arrived and worked his magic swiftly and I was able to drive the almost 2 hour drive home with ease knowing I wasn t going to be stuck in a town miles away from home. Amazing people, amazing and very quick service. Up front, honest, and always get the job done. I've never had a problem. They replaced my fuel pump a year ago and a connection became loose not too long ago, they paid for my tow and fixed it for free (as per 2 year warrenty)! Would and have recommended to family and friends! Seriously I don't understand the negative reviews of this place, they're always so great to me!

This is the second time my insurance has sent them out and they refused to tow me but charged my insurance the full price of a tow anyway. Brandon called to confirm everything which was great because AAA automated system had screwed up communication.
