I had tire trouble and drove from Maupin. Zak helped me to solve the problem in 2 hours. With new tires I completed my trip safely.That was wonderful experience.Many thanks to Les Schwab Tire Center for well-trained staff and line with highly efficiency, and also offering clean reception environment.

Employees were friendly and helpful, making sure I brought the right tires for my car and my driving needs. I've gone in with a flat tire that wasn't one of their brands, and they fixed it no charge. I was on vacation in Eastern Oregon when a tire blew out. I got to a nearby shop. The tire couldn't be fixed, so they found a tire with almost the same amount of wear and replaced it free of charge.

This review is receiving two stars, only due to a small refund (on service charges) that they offered after an hour of discussion/debate.I purchased a set of studded winter tires in the winter of 2021. During the Winter of 2022, one of these tires suffered a catastrophic failure. This was not due to any road hazard or road-related damage. It actually blew while sitting in an intersection. The car was towed to a Les Schwab. The store assured me that, due to the nature of the failure and the low age of the tire, it would be fully covered under warranty.They unfortunately did not have this tire in stock but offered a loaner tire to get us back home.I bring all 5 tires to this shop and I am told then that the failed tire only qualifies for a credit of 30ish% of the tire. I was a bit surprised as the tire was only used sparingly for approximately 4 months. When I asked why it did not qualify for a full replacement I was told that this tire was worn "30%" a small amount over the wear mark that would have guaranteed a full replacement. I pointed out that this seemed like a defect as the tire only lasted a few months of use. I was told that it was likely either my fault or an unknown road hazard that destroyed the tire. There was no budging on their assessment of the tire and the replacement credit that it qualified for.I have spent my entire adult life buying Les Schwab tires due to their customer service and standing behind their product. I am sad to transition of out of this loyalty. A tire that catastrophically fails after several months of light use and then charging the customer 70% for the same make/model (replacement) tire is simply not acceptable.

Walk in wait time was reasonable since i was needing a winter tire swap where tires were dismounted and a studded winter tire mounted on 1 set of rims. Balanced, and tire pressure monitors reset. Thanks so much for your good work!

We got a flat on our way home and these guys were quick to come out and help us. The gentleman got there and within 20ish min we were back on the road.

Wow! What great service. They saved the day when we were in The Dalles visiting and a flat tire occurred. Joshua was amazing and helped us get back on the road.

Sent my daughter to do a winter change over. Car also had a bad wheel bearing so I called the alignment shop to see if they could take care of that while the car was there. Mark in the alignment shop made it happen and was just fun to speak with. Took care of my kid. Thank you Mark.

I called in after getting the wrong size chains from the Happy Valley Les Schwab and I was stuck in the storm yesterday in The Dalles coming from Montana. They didn t have my size chains which is fine but when I asked if there was any other place around who would carry chains, the guy told me there wasn t anyone else that he knew of in town. I m not from the area, it would have saved me some time if they would have told me there was a Point S down the road. That s atrocious, especially when we re in a snow storm. Help people out or direct them accordingly. If you can t help you should direct people to someone who can!

Driving all over Oregon in a rental car, picked up a nail somewhere along the way. Looked for a place nearby and found Les Schwab. Took car in first thing in the morning. They were super fast and and efficient and I was out in 20 minutes. That is awesome. The most amazing part is no charge! If I live nearby I would be a customer for life. Open up some in Kansas City please!

Les Schwab has been trustworthy, quick, efficient, clear in their communication. I think of them being to tire service what UPS is to shipping. So, yeah, they do what they do right.

They did less worker than I asked for because it would have been wasteful of my money. Now there's honesty I love an honest auto mechanic and I'll be going back to them for more business.

HUGE SHOUT OUT TO JASON GREENE MANAGER AT LES SCHWAB!! I can t even to begin in to tell everyone how amazing the customer service is! They went out of their way to fix my tire for me and did so with nothing but kindness! JASON YOU ARE AMAZING YOU SAVED MY BUTT AND MADE MY DAY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE AND THE MANAGER IS THE ABSOLUTE MODEL MANAGER! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

If you need a simple tire repair plan on leaving your vehicle 3-4 days maybe longer. Les is probably turning over in his grave

Had a shimmy on truck while on vacation, took it in on a Saturday and they fixed it up right quick!! 30 minutes total time! Impressed with staff courtesy and support. Highly recommend this location if in area.

TodayIn WashingtonOn hwy 142...while 5 miles from cell service...I had a flat while working and driving a work vehicle.The spare was unaccesible because I did not have the correct spare tire tool to drop it downSpencer came out from The Dalles OregonI have to sayI was in a very bad moodLosing business and crankyWe worked together to limp the vehicle I was drivingTo their storeHaving to stop 3 times to air up that tireHe followed me patiently and protected me from full speed traffic and more importantly ....Allowed me to overcome my bad attitude and irritation with my situation...with his sunny disposition and helpfulness.This is not a small thing to be nice to someone who is not nice or deserving.But when it happens ....you have to appreciate how big of an impact it can have.And say so.So I'm doing that.Thank you.DeanAireserv Heating and cooling

Les Schwab is the best Had one of my tires go out last night and went to Les Schwab in the morning and they went right to work. They ended up having to replace the tire but their service is the best and they do a really amazing job.

I was so, so impressed and grateful (such that i m writing this just 30 minutes after leaving the shop. I am in town for a wedding, had a flat tire on a rental car with a number of factors that prevented me from putting on the spare myself. I was towed down the street here, and Peter (great guy) got me in and out in about 40 minutes, patching the tire as opposed to changing it out I made it back on time to get to the event.

Jerry got us back on the road within three hours. We were driving in from Odessa Texas and got stranded, had to get towed in on Fourth of July weekend. We were back on the road by 5:45 PM. Amazing hard workers. We love you!

The guys there are super helpful and fast. I was told I had a 45 minute wait but they got my truck done in 30. To the guy with the red beard thank you he was really helpful on tire selection and told me my brakes where getting low

The most expensive tire shop around. Tear up your warranty because they ll find a way to not honor it and overcharge you for a new tire. Jose wouldn t even waive the $3 disposal fee. Go to Point S.

My boyfriend and I and our children got stuck in the Dalles with a nail in our tire and we were able to roll up to this Les Swab location and they got us in and out in UNDER 10 MINUTES! It was unbelievable. They were so helpful and professional. They saved our butts and we are so grateful!!

April 2nd and Les Schwab was slammed with people getting winter tires changed out for the season. I came in and bought new tires. Service with a smile!! I was helped as soon as I walked in and tires were put on in a very timely manner!Thank you Les Schwab. Excellent prices. Excellent service.2nd to none.

They got me right in to fix a puncture and rotate tires.While I was there I asked them to change out the wipers.The guy took off the existing wipers and let the metal wiper arm smack the windshield. It chipped and cracked the windshield and they didn t even tell me. They hid it and let me drive off..I drove off unaware. didn t find it until a week later when a crack started running up the windshield.Now I gotta drive an hour and a half back to the Dalles to get into the argument? Unbelievable

Absolute scam artists! Had an employee get a flat on travel and they took their vehicle to these crooks. They told her that she had winter tires on (this is June) and that they wouldn t replace just the one. After showing them Firestone s website that has them listed as All-Weather (they are Weathergrip), they still refused to believe it. Les Schwab hates doing small jobs. They wanted the big sale and took advantage of a stranded woman. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I'm a lifelong "Uncle Les" customer for tires and all the stuff that goes with them. I looked in amazement to see my dad drive on to the lot where men were Running towards the car! Splendid service! Guarantee products. I have been a customer ever since. I was a kid in the 60's then. Now I know that The Dalles store is happily keeping Uncle Les 's service rules to heart on my car's new tires, I was told Rotate in 5000 miles. Zipped into the lot, walked into the waiting room and I swear 2 minutes went by and my car was done! I must say that I have been to other stores for service and wasn't able to find an employee, ser vice performed was substandard, and my car was not clean when hours later it was "done". Recommend "The Dalles"!! PS: Uncle Les makes. Service calls on the road or in your driveway as long as your tires or battery are from Schwab!!!

The customer service at this Les Schwab was amazing. They were so helpful and quick and did an amazing job. Would highly recommend them.

On our way to the Oregon coast from Spokane and got a tire pressure warning. Lucky we were close the the tire store. We were seen right away. Great service they tried to fix the flat but we had a huge metal who knows what that punctured the tire. We got new tires and are back on our road trip within 45 minutes. Fast and friendly!

Great service as always. They are usually fast when there isn't a line out the door to put snow tires on. No complaints about Les Schwab.

I have been a customer with Les Swab for over 40 years and today was made aware of a policy by the company that I feel is greatly disturbing. I went in to purchase new tire for my 2017 Pickup with less than 45,000 miles. Two years earlier I had purchased new tires from our local store. I was told there could not be any adjustment for the used tires because I had not used them up to the "Companies" level of use. These tires are rated for 65,000 miles and had less than 30,000 on them. I felt they were unsafe to continue to use since I use the pickup to tow a travel trailer and they had gotten very thin. I purchased the new tires and did not complain any further to the staff as "they are just following company policy". While the staff is still the great people I have come to expect at Les Swab, I feel the company has greatly declined in customer satisfaction and is no longer standing behind their products as they once did and protecting the safety of their customers. I hope someone at the main headquarters will read this review and change their policies to the high standard that they once had.
