We had our 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 towed to C H Urness about three weeks ago. Left the warranty information along with the vehicle and was told they would get to it at the end of June. Come July, and we re in the middle of a move across the country and we re relying on the truck to have some progress done by the time we came back for trip 2 across the country, in which we need a running truck to complete our move. Suddenly, everything changed and the dealership no longer deals with warranties (company policy, they said). Had we known they wouldn t honor the warranty, we wouldn t have wasted our time with this place. Very unprofessional behavior and poor customer service (they wouldn t return our calls, told us one thing and did another). I don t recommend C H Urness at all. They give Dodge a bad name, and I ll be calling the corporate office next to file a complaint, as this has cost us time and money with all the towing and gas costs associated with moving the vehicle to another Dodge dealership that will actually do their job. Avoid this place like the plague.

I have traveled to The Dalles three times to have service done. Twice the work wasn t done because of staff shortages. Neither time was the service department apologetic. Just seems to be part of the regular routine. I know that it is important for the service departments to get good reviews but this place doesn t seem to care.

Purschased my Jeep a few years ago, go back for regular service, they always scheduled my appointments on the date, and time I request, even when they are short staffed they still get my oil change in a timely manner. Front desk staff is super friendly and welcoming.

C.h motors is an amazing dealership, cliff here helped me with everything possible that he could and helped me out and gave me the best customer service I was hoping to get. I highly recommend this place and if you come ask for cliff, made my experience amazing and was super easy transaction. Thanks for everything C.H urness motor company of the dalles Oregon.

I financed a 2016 4Runner from these guys. Only four months later, the brakes start squealing as if it needs new brakes. Now, used certified means it s been through a thorough inspection and to see if anything needs to be fixed on it. Whoever does the Certified Inspection sure missed a spot. I wonder what else has been inspected missed. Thanks CH Urness for your honesty. I ll be taking the 4Runner to an actual professional and I ll be sure to post what y all missed. Stay tuned.

This review is pending. My vehicle is currently at CH Urness for service of 2015 WK2 EcoDiesel high pressure fuel pump replacment (under extended factory warranty). The part has along lead time, and was originally quoted 70 days for part arrival with no date confirmed for actual service and replacement. My grandparents and aunt & uncle have been buy Ram, Dodge and Jeep at Urness for over 60 years with no complaints heard from them.

Good and helpful at getting my jeep warranty work done.Edit went back for more warranty work engine running ruff, runs hot I have see it as high as 244� on the way down, the door lock button locks instead of unlocking.Get the jeep back they put a steering damper on that I didn't want and told me I was pushing the button wrong need to push it hard on the edge to make it work.Sorry 44k for a new jeep I shouldn't have to worry if it's going to overheat leave me somewhere and the doors not unlock to let me out.Took their survey said the same thing, asked if I wanted a call and I answered yes. No callI know they got the message because I ran into a ex employee and he remembered seeing my email to them and knows who was supposed to call me but never did

Just bought our new car from these guys. Absolutely no hassle. Very nice folks. Owen was great and helpful. No pressure to buy. I really appreciate the service. It really changed my mind about car dealerships. Thanks guys, we love the new van.

I want every one to know how great this place is. I was broke down, and a long long way from home my water pump went out of my Dodge truck. Towing a fifth wheel trailer, the wonderful people in there shop got me back on the road in about two hours. I couldn t believe it they were so great, I would recommend them to anyone who needs help or needs a new car they would be the place to go. The service department has superb service. Shawn is my salesman by choice. I call him up... tell him what I am looking for and what I am trading in... show up the next morning and he has the vehicles ready for me to test drive along with payment options... I am in and out in less than 2 hours. Car shopping made easy. No games. No gimmicks. Highly recommended C H Urness

First time at this dealership. Needed an oil change. Scott was great, very personable. Was in and out quick. Got a free car wash at metro car wash. No BS like you would get at iffy lube! Trust your vehicle with the dealer, you'll save in the long run!

This was a poor buying experience for me and my father. Purchased a 2014 Ram 1 Ton from them, within 8 miles I had a turnsignal go out. Drove it on a trip of a few days and tried to replace the bulb in the turn signal. Ended up making a special trip from Boise back to the Dalles to have it repaired. They took the truck into the shop and couldn't figure out what the problem was. Finally on a second 400 mile trip back to the dealership they replaced the wiring harness. Worked fine for about 3 months then both batteries died. Took it to a local dealership when the check engine light came on and found out the turbo had gone out on it and needed the actuator replaced. I called our salesman that basically said "bet you are glad you got the extended warranty". Just a month ago I finally got a dealership to figure out what the gremlin in my lights and turnsignals were....a blown Fuze which the technician I had repair it said was obviously blown and Had been for some time. I don't believe that Urness motors is knowledgeable about the vehicles they are selling and the service department I do not trust. Expect to deal with it on your own if you experience a problem.

Had a truck there for estimate of repairs. Took 5 days to get estimate. The estimate was 4000 dollars higher than shop we had fix it. My bumper was damaged by them and they refused to accept responsibility or make right. They would not return calls If your looking for a car or need repairs go somewhere else.

I just dropped off my Boss to pick up his work truck today. We didn't discuss what he had done to it, or even if there was a problem with it. For all I know, he might have just getting some maintenance done on his truck. I DO know the owners of CH Urness though. I grew up with the entire family, although not a close friend of the family. They are All honest and competent people. I've known most all of them for around 40 years or more. Good people, the Urness'.

This is my first one star review. These guys are terrible. I had a 9 AM appointment to get new keys, an oil change and to fix my cruise control. t 9 AM the guy said it would take two hours and at 10 AM they hadn't touched my truck yet. Four and a half hours later at 1:30 they had only done the keys. The gave me back my truck with no oil change or fixed cruise control. They charged me $55 to "diagnose" the cruise control but didn't do anything to fix it. This place lacks customer service or any care for the customers and all the employees seem very lazy and unmotivated. Do not go here.

I took my 2014 Ram 3500 in to Urness for a bad actuator on my VGT turbo. I already knew it was the issue ahead of taking it in.My issue I had was my warranty was getting close to expiring, so I dropped my truck off there in the beginning of May in hopes a cancellation would get it in earlier then its May 15th appointment since warranty expires on the 19th.No luck getting in earlier but they did diagnosis the issue as described on the 15th. They told me at that time my warranty didn't expire for 12 more days, not sure on how that is since their the ones that told me the 19th originally. Either way, they said they probably couldn't get it done before the expiration. I asked how that could be and they replied they couldn't schedule it till after the expiration date. I told them I was under the impression that it was based on when the service order was opened and they said no, it's when work is complete.So I forfeited my truck for two weeks just for them to hook it up to computer and tell me what I already knew, and wasted valuable time. That's the bad that I'll happily accept a part of the blame for.The good part is they suggested taking it to Yakima Chrysler, which I did and they had it done in two days.The service rep there told me it's based on when service order is open not completion but he was happy to have the work.My suggestion if your finding yourself in this predicament, call someone else. Dont take their word for it.

Dang! Pulled into a rest area on I-84 just west of The Dalles, Oregon and the water pump in my '09 Dodge Ram gave up the ghost. What to do? Called Urness Chrysler Dodge to see what they could do for me. Scott Jackson, the service manager, said if I could get towed in his mechanic would take care of me. Well, getting the tow sorted wound up taking more time than anyone expected. About 3 minutes before the mechanic was to depart for the day, my truck was delivered to the dealership. Scott and his mechanic met me before the tow driver had dropped my truck. Bless his heart, the mechanic said he would stay and get me back on the road...and he did! Inside of one hour I was back to my 5th-wheel and back on the road. Great people make a great dealership! Thank you all, very much!

I came here to get my recall checked up on my new vehicle. I was treated with respect and they were consistently making sure that we were happy and not needing anything... like water, soda or popcorn. I had quite a few questions and they didn't mind answering all of them. I will now only use them for all maintenance on my vehicles.

I was in The Dalles this morning, and my van started making a horrible noise. I went in and asked them to look at it. The guys in the service department figured it was a rock in the brakes, so they popped the wheel off and got the rock out for me. Less than 15 minutes, and free of charge. I might just start heading to The Dalles for my service work.

I have a 2015 Dodge RAM 3500 and needed to get my 2nd oil change on it. When I emailed to set an appointment they told me I could use their "express lane" and didn't need an appointment. Yesterday, I arrived around 2:10 and pulled up to the "Express Lane". The guys in the service bay were friendly and told me they could do the job; just go to the service desk and sign in. When I went to the service desk I was advised that there were three oil changes ahead of me and that they were closing at 4:00 and wouldn't be able to help me that day. I had driven from Hood River just for the oil change and told him I was willing to wait my turn but he told me that two of the jobs ahead of me were diesel and that they would take an hour each. Since I work during the week, I went across the road to Oil Can Henry's, drove in, enjoyed a very professional experience, and drove out in 20 minutes. If you want to advertise an "Express Lane", then be prepared to take whatever comes. Would it have been the end of the world if someone had to stay beyond 4:00 PM to take care of a customer who showed up at 2:00? The "can't do" attitude left me feeling I couldn't trust them with my vehicle either. BTW, the folks at Oil Can Henry's told me that they get jobs from the dealer all the time with the same story.

Thank you! Terry and Wes, I was driving from Bend Oregon to Lewiston Idaho today and My 2015 Ram 3500 Diesel flashed on the screen that I needed my DEF service and it would go into limp mode MAX 5 MPH in 120 miles! I was 360 miles from home so I diverted my trip through The Dalles 80 miles away. I'm glad I did. I obviously had no appt. I was greeted by Terry and explained my situation and that I had to be at a meeting in Idaho By 12pm. She promptly gave my keys to Wes who found the problem and fixed it! I was on my way in no time and made it to my meeting! Great people! Clean facility!

I don't believe any of the one star ratings because this will be the third vehicle we have gotten from them. First one we just grew out of then second they did not know it would end up having bad motor so now third but every time they are up front on everything that they know about the car and what it is worth and every time we have to put car in shop yes it's a shop and the guys have other stuff to do so it may not be same day for fixing what is wrong but for oil change in and out quick and they are always asking if can help us with anything else and when wife did not have a rig to drive kids to school and back home while our rig is in shop they gave her a loaner. I have done business with the other car lots in the dalles and I would not recommend any other one the only car lot that you should go to is urness motors 100%

My experience is less than stellar, I purchased a 2012 Heavy Duty Dodge Ram, within a week I had Clutch issues. They did replace the clutch...However I was told the truck was one owner and clean car fax. IT turned out 2 owner and with a damage report. The clutch also was the 3rd clutch in less than 80,000 miles. Also when I picked up the truck the air pressure sensors were on and I was told it was because of the custom wheels on the truck. So then I head to California with my horse trailer...I have less than 500 miles on the truck from the clutch repair. I lose a rear wheel in rush hour in Fresno according to the repair shop..the wheels did NOT EVEN FIT the truck.and there was a bad rotor...lugs were loose on the other 3 wheels as well Damages to the truck over 5000 in repairs. Looking into the Federal law regarding wheel sensors. Myself and my horses could have been killed.....all I can say is BUYER BEWARE.

Damien has extremely friendly and helpful. I had been to 3 dealerships to test drive vehicles. I bought my jeep on the spot because of quality, knowledge, and friendliness. Thousands cheaper than portland.
