Went in for a front end alignment and they got me in the same day. Went to another bigger place down the road and they told me it d be like 2 weeks till I could get in. Been to point s for vehicle inspections and always been happy! Will be coming back again for more work if needed.

They are fast and efficient. Went there for my tires since les schwab seems to not be as good as they once were. I also got my oil changed there. It was less expensive than a lot of other places, and i was able to get my tires rotated at the same time.. so that's a win-win.

Great customer service! I have had 2 tires repaired recently that had screws in them causing a slow leak. Point S is the only one that properly airs my tires every time! Everywhere else either under or over inflates every time. I appreciate their attention to detail, quick service, respectful contact and clean bathroom! I recommend whole heartedly! Thank you!

I have a Subaru Forester with a 2 lift and a few months ago I took it here for a routine brake pad /rotor replacement. This vehicle has the upgraded calipers from a WRX for better stopping power and reliability, a common factory upgrade. After further inspection they noticed the ball joints needed to be replaced too. At the time they didn t know my aluminum Subaru STi lower control arms needed a cone-cup insert for the ball joints to fall into, so they recommended me purchasing brand new stock lower control arms, which I did and were installed the next day. (They installed a stack of washers temporarily on the drivers side ball joint, making the vehicle a safety issue rattling violently at any speed above 25mph.)Parts were NOT cheap. The brakes never stopped squeaking. If anything it got worse. They said the squeaking would go away after 500 miles, which it didn t.Long story short about 250 miles in on the new brakes and they went squishy + non operable; scariest day of my life. I called and they worked my car in the same day. The sound did go away, and they breaks were operable again but the next day I began to hear a new noise. We took it to a different local mechanic (let s just say we have lost the trust with Point-S by this point) and learned that the work done on my brakes caused one of the calipers to lock up at a full stop, the noise I am hearing is because they are stuck and those too will now need to be replaced from the faulty break job that was completed just a few months prior.Customers of Springfield / Eugene beware your vehicles saftey is at jeopardy here.

We had a nail that was stuck in our back tire, so we took it to Point S and they took care of it right away and the price was awesome. I strongly recommend Point S

I initially went in bright and early on the morning of 02/06/18. The reason as to why I went is because I wanted to get a " Free Brake Repair" Lately my brakes have been sinking so I thought it was my master brake cylinder I just wanted to make sure it was that. So I arrived and was really opened minded as to what the problem could potentially be. After an hour of waiting the Manager walked up to me and told me the mechanic stripped my wheel lock. At first, I was understanding because my car is 21 years old and parts do break. However, he did not mention anything about the other 3 wheels. I was under the impression that they didn't even touch them, so after the brake check I went To Sheppard Motor Volkswagon with hope they would have a master key lock to remove the lock lug nut on each wheel. And what I found out was terrible. NOT only did they break my wheel lock they also completely DESTROYED MY OTHER WHEEL LOCK NUTS . I have no idea what the thought process was behind that stupid decision. THE right thing would have been to do when the wheel lock broke is to stop entirely and tell the consumer other than continuing using an air hammer on all 4. Beyond disappointed I brought my car in tip top shape just for them to destroy it. Furthermore, today I went In was really to take legal action and they surprisingly went through and took them off with a plasma cutter. Moral of the story this place just wasted my time, damaged my property. I highly recommend NOT GOING to this place. CLEARLY THIS PLACE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE AND If you need anything tire, brake or alignment related DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO LES SCHWAB. (( if you read this and are still going the Point S... you will be in my prayers ))

We went here with our RV a few days ago on our way back to eastern Oregon after a very kind and well-meaning fuel attendant accidentally deflated (rather than inflated) one of our front tires. The valve stem on the tire was difficult to access, and the max PSI of 80 listed on the tire sounded rather high to me (but I honestly know nothing about tires) so we went to Point S to have them check it out. They helped us immediately with no wait at all even though we only needed our tires inflated, which they do for free. All of the staff and technicians were extremely kind and helpful, especially Danny who filled our tires. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He explained the PSI recommendation for our tires, and didn t talk down to me or make me feel bad at all for being so painfully ignorant about tire pressure lol. I m extremely grateful for his help with the tires and the peace of mind he gave me for the eight hour drive back to eastern Oregon! I highly recommended Point S!

Worst place ever! Don t do business with them! They do not know how to take care of their customers and only rip them off! Not accountable for their mistakes made on my tires. Never returning!

I went in to get a tire repair. Something the chain tire stores, like Discount Tire tends to do for free, hoping you'll come back, for tires later. When I handed over the keys and told them which tire was leaking, I was told it would be ready in an hour and I'd be called if I wasn't seen in the waiting area. When the car is ready, I go to the counter to get the keys and the person who helped me originally says it will be $20, for the repair. Now $20 isn't unreasonable for the repair, but not disclosing that at the beginning is ridiculous. No quote, no paperwork at all was done until I complained about it. He then asked if the tires were purchased there and I told him I didn't know, because I was doing a favor for a friend. He should have asked that at the beginning as well and he runs the place. This isn't the first time I've gone to this place. About a decade ago, I went there for tires. They let me leave with lock lugs on my wheels. I didn't have lock lugs on there when I brought the car in. So, getting the tire off, without the key is ridiculously hard. I should have known not to give this place another chance. Don't go here. They don't pay enough attention and you'll probably get a surprise charge, because they don't do due diligence in letting you know what's going on beforehand. Nobody likes surprise charges.

Thought they were great for s while but bought set of tires at about same price you would name brands everywhere else with warranty. Not even year had pasted and we have a lot of wear on tires and already down to 3mm tread. Come to find out best reasoning for needing to replace them just little over year with only 16000 miles on tire is they were cheap Japanese tires and should of been rotating more often. And they had no real warranty as more companies do. Kind of disappointed in them.

I have been to point S a total of three times.Once to purchase tires; another to remove a nail nearly a year later. Then today for a diagnosis. All three times they have gotten me in and out as quickly as possible.I would describe everyone at point S as upfront and honest, very communicative. They have looked at my car without cost since I purchased tires with them. They make me feel valued and heard as a customer. Leaving today I now have the confidence, and a clear maintenance plan. 10 out of 10 could not recommend these guys more; if you care for your car and the reliability, and if you -value, honest service. Then look no further because you re going to get this from the guys at point SThanks for keeping my TDI golf on the road!

THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!! Don t waste your time going anywhere but Point S!! They take care of your vehicle like it s their own. They give vets a deal, they cover down on all their work (no b.s. like it doesn t sound bad ) you need your tire fixed? Come here. You need an alignment? Come here. If they don t have the means to fix whatever is going on with your vehicle, they give you real legit options!!! I love this place and I ve been a loyal customer for 8 years!!!

Called this point s to have my new tires mounted and balanced on my Nissan, was told 100.00 dollars out the door. I get there and I'm told oh no since there new and I didn't buy them at point s it's gonna cost me 140.00dollars. It is total B.S. they want to charge me 40.00 bucks more simply because I didn't buy my tires from them. What a ripp-off I don't recommend anybody takes vehicles to these people they will just ripp you off.

Long story shortI didn t put the effort into making sure Matt and I were communicating clearly, and sleepwalked my way home with tires on my truck that I didn t want paid for and all. I didn t notice my mistake until I got home with them. I called up Matt and he got it so all I had to do was drive back and swap out for the tires I wanted, no extra charge.More than fair!!

Always helpful and friendly. Honest and reasonable pricing. You usually can just drop in and get your car serviced any day of the week. Clean and organized shop. Thanks for taking good care of my SUV and trailer.

Don't trust them as much. They ignored my request or to even bother on putting some space between the new power steering rack line. They just charged me little over a thousand and placed it in the same spot without adding something in between so the line wouldn't rub against the frame. It's obvious they did it that way so I come back when it needs a new steering rack with the same issue. Another thing too was that they also neglected to install a bolt I gave them to adjust the ride hieght on my truck they said they did. Took about half an hour to wait on them and just to notice the bolt I gave them was never installed either. And they kept it. Lesson learned here is to double check before paying for their labor. Best alternative would be Les Schwab or a better reputable service.

I will let you make your own decision. I picked up a new boat in late May and the first place I took it was to Point S on 42nd and main to have all 4 trailer tires and the spare replaced. Asked the kind man at the desk to please check the bearings and add Greece. I picked up my boat at the end of the day and the man I dropped it off with assured me everything checked out great and they had checked the bearings and added grease. Fast forward two short local trips later I look in the review mirror and notice a cloud of smoke from one of the wheels on the trailer. After doing my best road side inspection and getting the drum removed from the axel I noticed the bearing had completely failed. First call I made was to Point S to tell them my current situation and ask if they had the replacement parts in stock so I could do my own road side repair. The gentleman on the phone was anything but helpful, he in not so many words told me to go to the parts store and they could assist me better. Moral of the story is if you plan on getting tires with the worst customer service go to Point S tire on 42nd. They will gladly leave you stranded on the side of the road with no hard feelings. Make your own decision and best of luck. I will never spend another dime with them.

Do not take your car here. They do not follow tire warranties, they over tighten your lug nuts on tires, and cant listen to simple instruction. You get charged for work that is not done and they lie and say they roatate your tires when they dont.

I really like this business because it's family owned and they know what the hell theyre doing. I gave up on Shwabbys many years ago as I caught many simple mistakes do to their required hurriedness and hustle. I prefer thoroughness and a job done right. When I go to Point S I know these guys after years of service and long term employees is a good sign for a business. I've also had my rig serviced at the Creswell and Grants Pass shops with good service at both. The tires they sell here are of excellent quality and Im always satisfied with the service I get. With me they have a life long customer.

Amazing service at point s! We waited 2 hours at Les Schwab. They were helping people that had showed up after we had arrived its like they completely forgot that we were there, and when we went back in to check the status they said it would be another hour and a half. we decided we had enough and left. We called point s and they got us in right away! Those guys are great!

My husband took our car for an oil change. We made an appointment and had the work done in no time. We were happy to see that Point S is in Oregon. We moved here from Montana where we had our car serviced before. Good service and friendly staff.
