I buy many parts from here for my mechanic shop. Prices on parts beat the competition around. Chris and Edwin are my favorite guys to talk to and take care of me every time. Keep up the good work, fellas.

Edwin went above and beyond today. He took some time to print receipt off my account for a vehicle I'm going to have to sell. Never thought I would sell it while I was fixing it up. Anyway, Edwin has cookies in his future.

Went and bought an alternator for my car and the lady manager sold me somebody else's core. When went to return it they tried to cover their own rear by doing a warranty cover on it. Then sent me to the hub on hwy 99 but not after messing up my part number. I won't be returning to the store on 42nd st and main.

Customer Service was horrible... No greeting from either employees working the front upon entry... I shrugged it off... Wandered the store on crutches looking for funnels without anyone asking if I needed help... I shrugged that off... Found what I thought would work and went up to check out... Asked if I had the right funnel for what I needed and was only advised to get a different size... Apparently, that's where he thought his customer service skills were maxed out... Needless to say, I walked out without making a purchase... I really hope that is not store policy, regardless if someone is disabled or not...

It was a waste of time and gas coming here. 1 person working and a long line of people waiting. I wasn't the only one that left without getting help.

I went in today to buy a new battery for my car. Hector was amazing and super helpful! He didn't try to up sell me to something that I didn't need and couldn't afford. He suggested that I buy only exactly what I needed. Not only that but he agreed to install it for me as well!! I'm very grateful for this because I have a horrible back issues and my husband is blind and we have no one else to help us with things like this. Hector is a really great guy and this O'Reilly's is LUCKY to have him!!! Thank you Hector!!!

Prices are too high at this place, at least for me. I found each item I needed cheaper on Amazon and decided to go that route.

Sent my friend to get a simple part for my car after calling ahead and being told that they had it. I asked them to set it aside for him so it would be ready for me to pick up, said it was on the shelf. Turns out they didn't have it after all. I'm not sure if it's part of their training to get customers to come in or something like that, but Oreillys dropped even further down my list of auto shop places tonight. If you're in a hurry and need something to ACTUALLY BE THERE when you're told it is, I wouldn't recommend these guys.

It's rare that you go someplace in an item is marked one price on the shelf, you take the cashier back there and show them, and they say oh we just have an updated our prices yet, and then charge you the full price that their system tells them. There are other auto supply places around. Just use one that actually lists the correct prices and doesn't charge you something different when you go to the cashier.

Friendly staff, decent prices. Need to with on their online availability. I will always shop around for the beter parts prices and on several occasions I have had to buy a fairly expensive item. While their site showed this store had a particular part when I went to purchase it I was told that it wasn't in stock. When I searched all their different stores in this area to find the one that had it. Went to that store inventory was wrong. The clerk was good enough to discount the item but inventory should be spot on in an auto parts store. Once I could understand but this is more than a handful of times. But I still recommend this place because the staff are great and very knowledgeable.

These guys basically saved me I broke down at night and was barely able to get to the store. I knew how to repair the issue but needed parts and tools Jonathan made sure I had everything I needed to get it done and never rushed me or anything even though i took until a little after they closed to finish then he checked up on me after to make sure I was good to go. Forever loyal to O'Reilly after this!

There were two registers open, and I was fifth in line with four people behind me. A couple came up to the end of the line, said they weren't waiting, and then walked up to the far left corner, behind the counter. They spoke to a young dark complected employee as well as a light skinned, bald employee... both males. Please note: I only point out their appearance so the location can identify the employees and prevent this from reoccurring. The young, dark completed employee led the couple you a register between the other two cashiers and began ringing them up. I watched the bald employee witness this, and take no action, nor did the other two cashiers. Myself, and another customer put our items down and walked out. Repeat customers are great. However, if you serve them unfairly at the expense of new business, not only are you setting a precedence with them, but the end result means, no new business and unsatisfied customers. About a week later, I gave this location another chance to facilitate my car needs. After searching the store for ten minutes, this heavy set gentleman/employee asked from behind the counter, if he could help me find something. He gave me directions to the items and we were set. When I came to the counter/register, he asked if I had a rewards card. To this I replied no, but I have an account with you. After a long sigh, he said he'd have to look up the account number. He took 3 steps to his left and my right, to the other computer. He takes the 3 steps back (unhappily, I might add), and sold me my items. There was ZERO discount, and zero reference of my account on my receipt. I began to asked what happened and he called the next customer up. I will drive across town to ANYWHERE but, this location AND this company. I've been a loyal customer in another for many years now, long before the name change... and I'm done.

Gotta say, I m pretty disappointed with this location. Multiple times now have I come across employees that seem annoyed - be it with my inquiries or just with the job in general. This affects the atmosphere of the place, and I can confirm it feels pretty unfavorable. They have a decent selection of items, but I am making this post more directly about the customer experience. I have been a fairly long time local customer and think I ve had enough subpar encounters here now to where I think I m done shopping here. Inaccurate CEL readings, poor customer service, and most recently was charged for a few items that I did not purchase. Not to mention they never really rival anyone else s prices. Now it is worth mentioning that they did make those false purchases right and gave me my money back, but it was irritating that it happened in the first place and cost me an extra trip, time, and the extra gas to go back and solve it. My honest recommendation: the Advance Auto Parts on Main here in Springfield is a far better place to shop. Most all of the employees there are knowledgeable and, as simple as it is, most importantly, they do it with a smile on their face! My go-to place in town for all-things auto parts. Their building is a little older, but I could care less if it means I know I ll walk out of there knowing I was taken care of. Sorry O Reilly, time for an intervention amongst your team

Worst service ever. I purchased a battery for my truck and upon attempting to put it into my rig realized the cables would not reach the post due to the battery being the wrong model. Today I brought the battery back to the same location I purchased it, as I reached the door a nice gentleman opened the door for me because my hands were full. I waited in line behind one customer and approached the counter. An employee by the name of Sam asked me what I needed and I explained that I had purchased this battery but the posts are on the wrong side, he asked me for my phone number, I told him my number and he began to look it up on his computer. He told me no records were found showing that I bought a battery. I told him my name and asked if he could look it up that way, he said still no results were found. He asked me if I had a receipt and I did not. l told him that I did buy the battery with a credit card and maybe he could track it that way he told me that wasn't an option, He told me then to wait one moment, He proceeded to a back storage area. He came back and asked me where and when I had gotten the battery. I explained I got the battery about a month ago, and he was the same employee that had helped me. He told me that I couldn't have brought this battery in with me because there was no record of it being sold, I told him I just walked through the door with this battery and asked him did you not see me. He replied I didn't see nothin. I said you gotta be kidding me I just walked in, He said again there is no record. I stated about three more times that I JUST WALKED IN, but he continued to state that he saw nothing. I asked him if he was implying that I somehow stole the battery and he replied that's how it appears. I asked him how he came to that conclusion, He said I have a battery of that model listed but can't find it in the inventory. I again said I just walked in with the battery in my hands, I then proceeded to show him scratch marks on the side of the battery that occurred when I attempted to put it into my truck, I also showed him rust on the terminals that had come off of my cables. He told me to leave him my name and phone number and upon investigating would call me with information. He said I would not be leaving with the battery. I told him this is ridiculous I just walked in with the battery. At that point I remembered I could pull up the bank statement on my phone showing that I had payed for the battery one month prior, He told me if I could do that everything would be good. I immediately pulled out my phone and found the purchase information on my bank statement, He looked at my phone with the banks information and confirmed that it matched the store and purchase amount. I waited another 10 minutes while he thumbed through a huge stack of paper receipts and again he told me he couldn't find any record, he then told me that he would have to make some phone calls. I asked him if he could check the store cameras to show me walking in with the battery, he told me no. I asked him if I could speak to a store manager and he told me he was the manager. He then went and made some calls, He finally returned with a new battery and told me that he was going to go ahead and exchange the batteries. I then turned around and apologized to the other waiting customers and they said no problem. In the end I did walk out with a new battery that fit my truck, but feel like I didn't receive an satisfactory apology and was very embarrassed and felt like I was being treated like a criminal, Last time I will visit an O'Reilly auto parts store.

I have several vehicles that I do most of the work on and I buy all of parts and oil from O'Reilly's! The people who work there are very knowledgeable and very helpful with all of my needs! They stand behind the products that they sell and I never had a hassle! I did find that the store on 42nd and main has a new manager and I was not impressed with her attitude or her service ! She has to be 20 something and seems to know everything! I find that hard to believe as I have been doing my own mechanics for 40 years and I know far from everything or will I ever! We will see how much longer l choose to use them for my vehicle needs!!Have a great day!

We came in at 7:45pm because our battery light came on. Justin tested the battery and found that the cell was dead. He tested the alternator and found that it also had failed. He sold us both, and described how to replace the alternator ourselves. He ended up giving us the wrong battery, but allowed us to come back after the store had closed to swap it out for the correct one. We were able to replace the alternator ourselves in 45 minutes based on the directions he gave, and saved hundreds of dollars in labor. The staff was incredibly helpful, upbeat, and friendly. It was a great experience.

Not sure what was up with the guy I just spoke to whether it be annoyance at females asking about car maintenance or just hating his life in general but just received rude service and annoyance when talking about my issue. So much so I didn t care to stay and ask further questions to troubleshoot.
