Bought tire, tube, rim strip online from CG and brought my front tire/rim in for tire change/balance. It took 4 days for it to be done. I called on the 4th day and was told it was done. Never received a text or call when it was finished. When I picked up my tire the tube nut wasn t seated or even screwed down at all, and the valve stem was kinked to about 40*. I could see it was wrong without my glasses. The tech asked if I wanted it fixed upon further inspection after getting my glasses on I noticed the lube used to remove the tire was still on the rim under the weights. I could move the weights to the side. The technicians response was, What, you want us to wash your rims? The weight stayed on in the machine so it s good . Guess I ll take your word for it? Manager stood by without a word to say. Soap tends to make sticky things less sticky in my experience. Less than professional technicians are working on your vehicle where one mechanical failure could result in death. I ll be spending my money elsewhere and if you prefer to make it home alive I suggest you do the same. Yes the weights are not center, yes the simple AMA recommended procedure of placing the yellow dot (lightest side) on the tire next to the valve stem (heavier part of the rim) were not followed.

Terrific experience working with Jordan and his team yesterday. My wife and I needed to get geared up for a new bike in our family and they helped us dial in just the right stuff. They were informative and knowledgeable and not pushing an up-sell at any time. We ll definitely be back!

Quality customer service can be hard to find these days. I didn't get his name but the young man working in Springfield yesterday afternoon was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I also appreciate Cycle Gear being open on weekends.

Excellent customer service at both stores I have visited. Was looking for my first full face helmet. The staff was super patient and helpful while i tried several different brands and sizes before finding one that fits me. Highly recommend them.

I always have a positive experience at my local Cycle-Gear. Really informative and friendly guys that are always share experiences and recommendations on products they carry. Also the fact it always smells like garlic and herb bread might help too. Delightful

Their website made reserving a helmet super easy, was available within a couple hours of them being open. Super friendly staff, just an awesome local place to get all the gear you need. Highly recommend checking them out!

I visit cycle gear at least once a month. I am always greeted and provided excellent customer service. All staff seem very professional and personable like a best friend. I love my Shoei 1400!

Went in for a jacket as a relatively new rider. I was greeted by two employees when I entered who asked what I was in for and told me to let them know of I needed any help. After deciding I wanted one of two jackets, I asked an employee to walk me through their relative benefits. The employee was helpful and I got the right one for my needs.I also got a new pair of gloves, which I realized after riding a short distance with them were one size too large. I exchanged them the next day without issue.Overall, a very good experience. I will be back.

This was my second time in Cycle Gear and my first time purchasing a product. I will soon be getting my first motorcycle and I stopped in the first time to get an idea of gear I m going to want when I start riding. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all of my questions and very informative. I ended up purchasing my first helmet, a Shoei, and a pair of riding gloves. Will definitely be back.

The staff at Cycle Gear in Springfield Oregon is the best. Before the winter started I needed a new jacket. I purchased it from the guys at Cycle Gear and shortly into the winter riding season the zipper broke. I brought it back and they exchanged it for a new one. They made the process easy. I was concerned because the jacket cost me $250 and I couldn't afford to pay for another one. To my relief they backed their product and made sure I wasn't left out in the cold. Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Convenient location and super friendly service. They have everything I need in stock, and their staff is all very knowledgeable. The motorcycle parking spots directly in front are a nice touch as well!

I am not a novice rider but, it has been quite a while since I've been riding. Now that I'm back, these people are great! Don't know all the names but, Jordan has been exceptional at getting me and my wife up to date on the latest and best aperal suited for our riding needs. And Mo's great expertise and advice for any parts or just tips on what's best for maintaining my "Hawg" (2016 Vulcan 900 Classic) Thanks everyone there! They all have participated in making me feel comfortable in "parting with my hard earned money" has been spent with the confidence of getting the best bang for my buck.We are looking forward to warmer weather for some serious, safe and fun, relaxing cruis'n! Cycle Gear will be our go to place as our riding needs continue to evolve. : )

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very good helmet selection. They produce a very, we want to get to know you vibe. The way the staff takes care of you, after the sale, is remarkable. So I'll remark. Problem with purchase means they'll go to great lengths to make it right. If you need explanations, they'll keep going until you get it out find the information. Jordan is very handt on and personable.

I went in looking for gloves and the sales man was very informative. He said he had just the thing for me and after a couple questions and trying on a couple pairs I landed on the Sidici Adventure gloves then also purchased the glove liners.

Very helpful employees. Limited selection of batteries. Bought one that salesman and I thought would work, but wouldn t fit under side cover. Exchanged for one another salesman said would work (I brought in old battery for size comparo), but it doesn t have enough cold cranking amps to turn my bike over more than 1-2 revolutions. Unfortunately, I waited three weeks to install it and don t believe I can return it now. I guess I ll keep it for our lawn tractor and go to either Batteries Plus or Interstate for a proper battery with enough power.UPDATE: After receiving the below response from Cycle Gear, I decided that I would take the underpowered battery back to the store to try to return it for an OEM replacement.Upon my arrival, I was pleasantly surprised when the guy behind the register told me it would be no problem, even though I bought the underpowered battery on 10/26 and was now returning it on 12/4. He also spent maybe ten minutes sorting out exactly which battery I needed. We found that they had recently gotten stocked with the exact replacement for my battery (a Yuasa YTZ12S). He credited me the 99.00 that I had spent on the earlier battery, and I bought the new Yuasa.My upgrade to the much higher CCA battery (210 vs 160) cost me about 227.99 total (less the return). I went home and installed the battery immediately and the bike fired right up. I guess the takeaways from this are 1) always buy the exact OEM replacement and 2) Cycle Gear is the place to go. They've gotta be the last honest bike shop!
