Kevin was my guy here, but he retired. Alex and Jason are the two guys running the show now and they are doing an awesome job. I buy lots of batteries here, and both Jason and Alex have been cool dudes to do business with. Keep up the good work, fellas!

Honestly I never do a Google review but these guys went above and beyond for me staying late and even putting my battery in free of charge and I didn t even get there till two minutes before they closed they were kind fast and efficient and got me on my way with a new battery at a very good price. Much appreciated. Thanks guys for your hard work!

Jason went above and beyond to help me and my 2 month old baby get back on the road. My alternator went out and my car died in the parking lot. He was the only one working and still took the time and help when he was already busy. Thank you!!!!

They only gave $5 a piece for core automotive batteries. This is less than half of their value. If I had the time I would've loaded them all back up and went elsewhere. I was a returning customer. I won't be back

Love these guys! Very knowledgeable and helped me find the right battery for my car. Sometimes they can give you a refurbished battery for $50! Not a bad deal considering most batteries cost $150 plus these days. Highly recommend. Earl also makes great baby back muskrat ribs out back in an old oil drum. If you show up on Friday, bring your tortillas! The meat literally falls off the bone . Cheeeeeya!!!!

We were in the Springfield area visiting great grandma with us coming in from out of state. She had her hood up with the battery charger on the battery of her car when we arrived. When asked about it, she said it had been on the charger for over two days. I attempted to start the car without even the interior lights coming on. It was a Knecht's battery which I had never heard of. It was one year old. The store it was bought at is no longer in business. Upon calling the 800 they referred me to Battery X-Change in Springfield, OR. I was transfered to the shop and talked with Alex. He told me to bring the battery down to the shop and he would check it out. Upon testing the battery, he determined that the battery was dead. He explained warranty and replacement options and assisted me in making the best decision on how to proceed. He also explained that not only could I get warranty/replacement help in the future of the 7 years warranty at Battery X-Change, but I could also take it to any place Nationwide that sold Continental batteries as they were the parent company. I would HIGHLY recommend Alex and Battery X-Change to family and friends in the future, and appreciate the ability to take a Knecht's battery to them or any Continental battery location in the US in the future.

Went to Les Schwabb first to get a battery. They told me it would be about an hour wait. Called Battery X-Change, they told me they had a bay open and could get it done quickly. They did! Highly recommend Battery X-Change versus any competitors when it comes to batteries.

Really great people work here! I had to jump start my battery and the next day I took it here to see if it needed to be replaced. It did and although they didn't have the exact battery I needed in stock, they were very friendly and helpful and offered good advice. Thanks guys!

This is one of the rare times I feel like I got way too inexpensive of a price from a business. After several years of periodic problems with my car battery connection and finally getting sick of my own solutions not being a permanent fix, I went to Battery X-Change where Chuck cleaned the terminals, replaced both terminal connectors, and secured the cables to the battery like a champ. I easily thought this was worth at LEAST $20 for the new parts and labor. My total bill was $5.90. I'll be buying my battery from them the next time I need one.

They can change your alternator right there in a swift and they have a lot of affordable batteries guaranteed. Just get there and get rolling again!!! ;)

Chuck and Kevin helped us and I'm over the moon with the service we got! Brought in our golf cart that needed some new cables and battery and they did it all. I am a customer for life after this. Great price and phenomenal service!

This is my second review of Battery X-Change. The first review I gave was a five star review of the one in Eugene because of the knowledge, service and pricing and that they would look at and fix or get me a new battery within minutes of me pulling up to the store at a very fair price.My understanding is that ownership has changed or I'm not sure what happened but I am writing this review because the service and knowledge and of the employees at both the Eugene and Springfield location is still excellent.I had a difficult battery need because I had an older European car that needed an obscure battery. I even had the wrong battery in my car. The employee at the Eugene location was able to diagnose the problem and tell me which battery he needed and although he did not have it in stock at the Eugene location, he called Springfield and verified that they had one in stock. He offered to pick it up on his way home and have it for me tomorrow but I elected to drive to the Springfield store to have it put in that day because I had the day off. It was nice that I had the choice and good communication between Eugene and Springfield store.Still my issue was complicated as far as replacing car batteries go because it was in a strange place in the trunk and the prior installer had botched the job and cut some gauge out of the cable that needed to be prepared, as well as the replacement of the positive terminals that were totally corroded.Not only did the Springfield place have my batteries but the two employees who were working there and skipped lunch worked at least 45 minutes and sometimes together to install the battery in my car. They cut a new positive wire and really took their time to do it properly.They were the only employees working so they simultaneously were dealing with other customers but were extremely courteous and friendly, given the work they were doing.When I went to pay, I expected to play clear over a hundred dollars. Not only did they replace my battery with one that was 200 cold-cranking amps better but they worked diligently for at least 45 minutes to install my battery properly.The total cost was less than $50 for everything. I could not believe it.Again, I was incredibly impressed by the knowledge and service of the employees and their ability to skip lunch to install my battery for free. I hope they are well-paid.

The owner was great took care of my boat battery asap. Mentioned I was selling it and he told me to make sure to give new owner warranty paperwork and he'd honor it.Good experience thanks.

Quick, friendly service! Very reasonable prices and took less than 10 minutes from beginning to end! They saved me about 100.00 compared to other local automotive repair or parts stores in the area! I ll be back for sure!

I ve purchased two batteries from them and the second one turned out to be defective. I m wondering if the first was as well. If you put a lot of miles on your car this might not be the best option for a battery.

Great experience. Battery-mechanic rep. knew what he was doing, explained and showed me what he was doing, that way I can do everything myself next time. Great price on batteries, a battery at Wal-mart would have been $110, at Battery Exchange it was $75. Garage has no heater, so if you go there in the winter wait inside or wear a coat.

These guys were great I went to both shops in Springfield and in Eugene in Eugene I finally got the battery I needed these guys were very very helpful, great service, decent prices, strongly recommend them. I had a hard battery to find, we worked it out.

Best pizza, best all you can eat pizza buffet!!!Should be ten star, they have been doing it for so long (makes me wish Pegasus had stayed on alder and stayed the same it was the only competition that track town faced)Keep it going, all the great places in Eugene are leaving CD world,etc.
